Mild but effective
Here we have a crazy good exfoliation that suits all skin types, even the most sensitive skin. I have sensitive skin that shouldn't be exfoliated often or use strong acids, but this one is mild yet effective. Holy grail!
This is a product that really surprised me. I have very stubborn skin that incredibly rarely responds positively to products, so when I first try a product and like it, you can guarantee that I will recommend it to everyone I meet on ๐๐ผ A bit about my skin: I have struggled a lot with oily skin and acne in my teenage years, and afterwards with uneven skin tone, pigmentation, and rough skin. I have tried an incredible number of products and have a lot of experience in skincare. As I said, my skin is very stubborn, and it is rare for products to work positively for me. LOVE!
Daily Microfoliant has truly surprised me. The first time I used it, it felt almost like my skin got to start over, it became so soft and smooth. Mild scrub
I have combination skin and for me, this is a totally super scrub to use regularly. I notice that it works well over time as I get fewer breakouts, but it is gentle. Very impressed with this one!! I've had a hard time with exfoliating products since I have dry skin and they often made it worse. Good but not for daily use
I have been testing this product for almost a month now. For reference, I have a dry skin type. This enzyme powder has been a bestseller for a long time. The powder itself is mixed with a little water to form a smooth paste that is then massaged into the skin after cleansing. It is supposed to remove dead skin cells and provide glow through a combination of chemical and mechanical exfoliation. My skin feels very soft afterwards but a bit tight. I also experience that subsequent skincare can sting a little. It says that this can be used daily. Please do not do that if you donโt want to ruin your skin barrier, 2-3 times a week is plenty for most. Overall a good exfoliation if you want more mechanical or a combo with chemical exfoliation. An effective and moisturizing exfoliant that leaves the skin soft and lovely ๐ซ The powder is easy to mix with water, and has no lumps/sand that hurts the skin! I got this product to test. I have been using it for a while now and can give my honest opinion on it. Dermalogica's products are new to me, but I have heard a lot of good things about them, so I was looking forward to testing these products. I have combination skin and in the winter it is surface dry. I start by cleansing my face with Dermalogica's Magnetic Afterglow Cleanser and then I still use this Daily Microfoliant scrub. At first, I was unsure if I could use it every day, but I decided to give it a try, and it has worked really well for me. The scrub is gentle, and that's why I dare to use it daily, but only in the evenings. It is also easy to use. You just take a teaspoon of powder on a wet hand and then rub your hands together to get the right consistency. After that, massage it into your face for 1 minute and rinse it off. It leaves the skin wonderfully soft and fresh. One star off because it is expensive. Great product
I have been using this powder for several months and am very satisfied with it. I prefer to use it in the shower after cleansing my skin normally. Then I take the powder directly into a damp hand, gently press my hands together before applying it to my face. Itโs an art to get the right consistency at first, but it becomes completely natural over time. This way, the grains still remain a little present, not completely gone, which is how I like it. You can also massage a bit more in your hands if you donโt want that. You need very little at a time, so you have to pour the product out carefully to avoid wasting it. I apply the scrub for about a minute before rinsing, and then my skin is silky soft. I focus on the T-zone and notice a big effect there when I use it regularly. The skin becomes completely smooth, not tight, dead skin is gone, and you get a nice glow. A bit pricey, but itโs worth it. Since I use other active ingredients in my skincare routine, I stick to 2-3 times a week, and thatโs perfect for me. The scrub is very mild and can basically be used daily even by those with sensitive skin. It also works well if you have discoloration from previous pimples on your face, I find that it has a brightening effect after about 1-2 weeks of regular use. If you like Sensai's silk purifying powder, you will also like this one. Mild but a bit tricky
I've been testing this for several weeks now, and as someone who often wears makeup, spends many hours in the city air, and has skin that sometimes feels dry and tight, this has become a nice little ritual in my evening routine. It provides mild exfoliation, soft and glowy skin๐ The product is a powder that you mix with water so it foams up. I have to honestly say that I'm not a super fan of this way of doing it, as it is a bit messy and hard to get a good consistency. It's very easy to use too much water๐ซฃ The instructions said you only needed wet hands, but in my experience, that has been too little. Fine lines there, though! The scrub itself, once you get it mixed together, is good! It's mild and gentle on the skin, yet effective at exfoliating. The smell (and feeling) is very reminiscent of baking powder with water, so it's not super attractive. I use this along with Dermalogica's Magnetic AfterGlow Cleanser, and the two together give clean, lovely, glowy, and soft skin.
