Very good but too quick on my skin
Good formula that quickly absorbs into the skin, a bit too quickly on my skin, they say to use a small pea-sized amount for the whole face, but I can't spread it out more than on, for example, half my forehead before it sinks into the skin 😅 so for my skin, it takes quite a bit of product to get it everywhere, so it might get a bit too expensive in the long run, otherwise a good product that does what it’s supposed to with decent strength and feels better with retinal for my acne-prone skin, unfortunately a small selection of retinal products at a good price point, but I will try Geeks & gorgeous A-game retinal and see if it’s easier to spreadTranslated from swedish
3 likes3106 views- 3 weeksGG retinal is super! One of the few retinoid products that feels light on the skin BUT I do think that it almost always (applies to all kinds of serums from various brands) takes more than the recommended amount in all descriptions... I use a-game 20 anyway and it feels significantly more powerful than this one from TO, even though both are 0.2%. But 20 is the strongest and it comes in 2 more variants. GG also helps significantly better against acne, at least my skin thinks so 😀

Wow
I am pleasantly surprised that it doesn't irritate, even with its high strength when used wisely. I also see the first results!Translated from polish

Which should I not combine
Hi! I have dry but oily skin, a bit wrinkly (need something that makes the skin firmer, as well as pore holes and superficial blood vessels. I have glycolic acid 7%. I want to buy argireline 10% and retinal 0.2 emulsion and bha+aha peeling solution. What do you think I should use and what can I not mix from the products I write here? Thankful for the answer❤️Translated from swedish

works for sensitive skin too
my skin is quite sensitive, so I was nervous to try such a product, but despite my doubts, my skin stayed balanced and I noticed a clear difference. my skin is smoother and feels more elastic. I use it max 2 times/week. #lykoreview1044 viewsto leave a comment - 4 weeksverified customer

A stronger version?
Hey, love this but want something stronger; what is the next level if you want like 0.3% retinal (doesn't have to be TO) but requires it to be fragrance-free?Translated from swedish

Affordable, yet effective alternative
The product spread relatively well on the skin and felt at least almost as effective as other products containing a similar concentration of retinaldehyde. It did not irritate the skin and worked well under most basic creams/moisturizers. The packaging was perhaps a bit small, but considering the price per liter, the product is still remarkably affordable. Very effective "budget version" when you need to save a bit or just don't want to invest in a more expensive product.1490 viewsto leave a comment - 4 monthsverified customer
Holy grail product
Better than many of the expensive brands' retinol, and actually does what it promises. I've noticed significantly better elasticity in my skin and glow. Favorite!Translated from norwegian

The OrdinaryRetinal 0,2% Emulsion 15 ml
Retinal 0.2% Emulsion is a very high strength retinoid formula that rapidly firms and smooths skin, while noticeably reducing the appearance of dark spots. It helps refine skin texture, while targeting uneven tone and boosting luminosity for brighter, more even-looking skin.
The serum-textured formula is suitable for all skin types, and is recommended for experienced users of retinoids. If you are new to using retinoids, we recommend exploring the Granactive Retinoid 2% Emulsion, or the Retinol 0.2% in Squalane, and progressing to higher strengths as your skin builds tolerance.
Retinal (also known as retinaldehyde) is a well-studied retinoid that offers more efficient delivery of the most direct form of vitamin A molecules than retinol, thanks to being 1 conversion step closer to the bioactive form of vitamin A.
With a high 0.2% concentration of retinal, Retinal 0.2% Emulsion is able to noticeably improve skin firmness and improve the look of lines and wrinkles, including crow’s feet, frown lines, and forehead wrinkles.
Retinal 0.2% Emulsion also contains synthetic oat analogues (specifically avenanthramide - a key beneficial component found in oats). This ingredient is known to help target skin discomfort and dryness, which are common concerns associated with retinoid use.
The bright yellow hue of the formula comes from the high concentration of retinal, which is naturally yellow. This may leave some residual colour on skin and light coloured fabrics, which can be minimised by allowing the product to fully absorb, and skin to dry before making contact with light-coloured fabrics. This residual colour can be removed by washing skin with water, and washing fabrics with your regular detergent according to their care instructions.
Användning:
Apply a pea-sized amount to clean, dry face and neck in the evening. Avoid the eye contour and contact with eyes. Start with a weekly application and gradually increase to twice a week, a few days apart, as tolerated by your skin. Apply a moisturizer afterwards. Do not use with other retinoid products. Use sun protection during the day.
If irritation occurs, rinse off, cease use, and consult a physician. Use only as directed on unbroken skin. Patch testing prior to use is advised. Refer to our website for a patch test guide, regimen guide, and product compatibility. Keep out of reach of children.
