In the development of SHISEIDO WASO, Shiseido has collaborated with local Japanese farmers from the areas where the ingredients grow best, rather than traditional large-scale suppliers. This creates new, local jobs and ensures a high quality of the crops.

95% of WASO's jars are made from recycled plastic, and the packaging is FSC-certified. To reduce plastic usage, the jar's lid contains 30% rice husk.
