Got this as a gift and was very satisfied with it, it removed makeup and everything, but it wasn’t for my eyes, as I had a reaction and became swollen and red unfortunately, didn’t change anything in my evening routine. I am a big fan of this cleansing balm from Clinique, so delicious when it melts on the skin and is massaged around. I received this product and had some expectations that it would be good. It didn't wash away my mascara and I didn't feel clean after using it. The consistency is like hard hair wax. Strange stuff. It's such a shame that you don't think this product lived up to your expectations. If you use waterproof mascara, it might be a good idea to use a separate eye makeup remover that is meant for removing waterproof mascara. Since this is a balm, the consistency can be a bit hard when you take the product out of the jar, but it can be warmed up in your hands or on your face when you massage it in and will then melt.
