Nice but not wow
I have tested #BJÖRNAXEN Volume Conditioner together with Volume Shampoo, have previously used the Volume series in mousse (which I got in a goodie bag from Björn Axén after my wedding 2024, and still have left in the bottle 😂) volumizing spray and blow dry cream. I just got my hair cut shorter and don’t have as much layering in my hair anymore, but at the same time it’s not as heavy as it was before, so I was excited to see what the volume series could offer my new look 🥳 The conditioner is thick and lasts a long time, and the scent is lovely! Okay shine but nothing more
I have now tested #björnaxen Volume Blow Dry Cream. I can say that I had liiitle too high expectations for this since I love the other products from the same line, but unfortunately it didn't give the volume boost I was hoping for. The cream glides on well and feels nourishing, the hair becomes very soft and shiny after blow-drying, but the real lift didn't happen. An okay product, but not for you if you want maximum volume. Good lift
I have tested the #BJÖRNAXEN thickening spray in their volume series. As a person who loves to fiddle with the hair roots and get it scratched by my husband, I appreciate how this spray gives texture without feeling "producty" in the hair. The hair feels thicker and gets a nice lift from the roots that lasts reasonably long, longer if I complemented it with mousse, also Björn Axén of course. The whole series smells really good and makes you feel a bit salon-fine after each time! Mandarine peel + Old lady
GIA by Rebecca Stella is a perfume that really is unique, but it feels kike the vision for who this perfume is for is a bit blurry. 🙈 It has a clear notes of amber that feels warm and quite heavy, but at the same time there’s that bitter scent of mandarins that smell abit like a classroom during snack break. The overall impression makes me really unsure how to rate it. It feels like it can’t really decide whether it wants to be cozy, mature, playful, young. I don’t think it’s a scent for everyone. Not a bad perfume,but definitely not something I’d wear on it’s own, I’ve had better luck mixing it with other scents to get a vibe I feel suits me better. I’ve been blessed this summer to #lykoinflutester #cosrx WONDERFUL eye patches. I’ve had a few late nights recently…the kind where you scroll on Instagram for way too long and wake up with puffy eyes and dark circles because you saw too many sad videos. I’ve then put the patches on during my morning routine and feel instant soothing as soon as I put them on, and after about 10–15 minutes, my under eyes looked fresher and way more awake. My skin feels soft, hydrated, and that puffiness? Pretty much gone. The lid clicks into place to seal them air tight and you get a cute little spoon to help fish the slippery buggers out. Speaking of slippery, they can be very fickle. For someone who hasn’t been sleeping enough, these were exactly what I needed. I have tested the IZEL BEAUTY Shine & Repair Hair Perfecting Shine Serum. Since I have tested all the products together, I will therefore have a somewhat similar review structure. ✌️ Hair type - My hair is thick with fine strands, pin straight and color-treated. Scent - All products smell very good, jasmine flower and some form of sweet candy, but I find that the floral scent lingers most in the hair after the product has been left in. 🍬🌸 Appearance - Small and narrow tube that matches the rest, but a bit boring that specifically this one doesn’t seem to follow that the outside reflects the product's actual color, they seemed to have a pattern on the others, but this one didn’t get memmon. Other - I actually don’t know what this product does for my hair. I get better results if I put it in before blow-drying, but if I put it in dry hair, the strands just clump together where I’ve applied it. I have tested IZEL BEAUTY Shine & Repair Gloss Shield. Since I have tested all the products together, I will therefore have a somewhat similar review structure. ✌️ Hair type - My hair is thick with fine strands, pin straight and color-treated. I flat iron and curl my bangs every day and apply heat protect every day on the poor thing 😎 Scent - All the products smell really good, jasmine flower and some form of sweet candy, but I find that the floral scent lingers the most in the hair after the product has been left in. 🍬🌸 Appearance - Nothing special about its appearance, it matches the rest with a lighter, slimmer bottle. Since I have tested all the products together, I will therefore have a somewhat similar review structure. ✌️ Hair type - My hair is thick with fine strands, pin straight and color-treated. Scent - All products smell really good, jasmine flower and some form of sweet candy, but I find that the floral scent lingers most in the hair after the product has been left in. 🍬🌸 Appearance - Fits well with the rest of the line, easy to get the product out. The product has a similar color and consistency to the conditioner, so it makes sense that it matches the conditioner bottle the most. Other - However, I don’t think this line gives “shine” more than others, I’ve experienced better shine results from other products in the same and lower price range unfortunately. A creamy conditioner
I got to test the IZEL BEAUTY Shine & Repair Conditioner. Since I have tested all the products together, I will therefore have a somewhat similar review structure. ✌️ Hair type - My hair is thick with fine strands, pin straight, and color-treated. Scent - All the products smell really good, jasmine flower and some form of sweet candy, but I find that the floral scent lingers most in the hair after the product has been left in. 🍬🌸 Appearance - I appreciate the little detail that the conditioner bottle is solid and darker, which reflects the muddy appearance of the conditioners and made it easy to grab the right bottle in the shower, since the text is quite small and I, like many, am half blind with water in my face. 😅 Other - The conditioner was slightly better than its partner shampoo. However, I don’t think this series directly gives “shine” more than others, unfortunately experienced better shine results from other products in the same and lower price range.
