    Here comes some facts about the PA system (UVA protection in sunscreen)🤩☀️💗

    You might have seen that it says e.g. PA+++ on your sunscreen, but what does it actually mean? I thought I could explain a bit about what it is, etc.🤗 PA is a scale that shows how well a sunscreen protects against UVA rays, that is the type of UV radiation that mainly causes skin aging, pigmentation spots, and can contribute to skin damage over time. The PA system is mainly used in Asia but is now becoming more common globally.🌏 This is how the PA scale works👇 PA is based on something called PPD (Persistent Pigment Darkening), that is how much the skin darkens after UVA exposure. ☀️PA+ Low UVA protection level Provides some basic protection but usually not enough in strong sun. ☀️PA++ Moderate protection Suitable for everyday use indoors/urban environment. ☀️PA+++ High protection Good for sunny days and longer outdoor stays. ☀️PA++++ Very high protection Strongest level – often used in sunscreens for intense sun or long exposure. 🧴 Important to know 💗PA only measures UVA protection, not UVB (that is measured by SPF). 💗A good sunscreen should have both high SPF (UVB) and PA+++ or PA++++ (UVA). 💗UVA penetrates deeper into the skin and affects collagen and skin aging more than UVB. #fakta #uva #solskydd #paskala #pa #lykocreator #spf #solen ☀️🦋

    NEW GO TOO! 🌞✨🫶🏼

    I'm actually VERY picky about sunscreen… BUT this one really surprised me!❤️ It's super light in texture, absorbs quickly, and almost feels like nothing on the skin. 🫶🏼Perfect under makeup!
