I got to test this product from #estellethild in the capacity of #lykoinflutester I would classify my skin as combination/oily, and especially oily now during the summer. I have quite sensitive skin that easily gets red or develops small bumps and pimples from the wrong products. The skin around my eyes is very thin and quite sensitive. I have been testing this product for a few weeks now, and here are my thoughts! Positive: ❤️ The eye cream is very mild, gentle, and soothing, and would probably be very nice for those with dry and irritated skin around the eyes. ❤️ The packaging is very nice, and has a convenient and hygienic pump. ❤️ Vegan. ❤️ Very moisturizing, works better at night for me. ❤️ Has a very nice feel on the skin. Soft and a bit silky. Negative: 💔 Unfortunately, it doesn't absorb into the skin very well, but sits on top. 💔 It didn't work for me under makeup. I tried three different concealers, and all creased more and one separated. 💔 I have very oily eyelids, and this just made it worse.

Hey Josefin😊 Thank you so much for taking the time to test and write such a thoughtful review! 🤍 It means a lot to hear how the product works on your specific skin type – especially when you honestly describe both what worked well and what didn’t quite suit you. We’re glad that you found the eye balm to be gentle, soothing, and moisturizing – especially that it felt nice on the sensitive skin around the eyes. We understand that it’s important for it to also work well with makeup and for oilier skin, so we really take your feedback to heart, and it can also help others. Thanks again for your honesty and for being a part of #lykoinflutester! Hope the next product feels better for you✨ Wishing you a really lovely day🌞

Negative: 💔 I feel that the night cream feels more like a balm than a cream, and that it is a bit slippery and oily. It kind of sits on top of the skin and doesn’t really want to be absorbed. 💔 It doesn’t really suit my skin type, but probably works better for those with dry skin.

Hey Josefin🥰 Thank you so much for sharing your experience and thoughts! It’s truly valuable to read how the product works on your specific skin type 🤍 So nice that you appreciated how gentle and soothing the cream is, and that you highlighted the packaging and that it’s vegan – those are details that many care about. At the same time, we understand that the consistency didn’t quite suit your combination and oily skin, especially now during the summer. It sounds wise that it might be better suited for someone with drier skin who needs extra nourishment. A big thank you for your honest and well-balanced review – it helps both us and others find their way in the skincare jungle! 🙌🏼

Negative: 💔 It doesn't absorb particularly well, and you have to work a bit for it to sink into the skin properly. Despite that, it felt like it sat on top of the skin more than it sank in. 💔 It doesn't work under makeup for me, as my skin became way too oily 💔 It gave an oily feeling after a while 💔 Might work better as a night cream for me.

    Pink Rose 🌹🩷

I’m currently doing a makeup challenge until I turn 40. A-Z of plants and flowers. This look is my interpretation of the Queen Elisabeth Rose, which is a beautiful pink rose. 🩷 The rose and leaves are made with Glisten cosmetics wet liner with a brush for nail art. The eyeshadow palette is Berries from Beauty Bay and the pink blush comes from Juvia's Place.

    So good!

I have thin, self-curly, Scandinavian hair and when I straighten my hair it always ends up a bit too flat, so I often use volumizing spray to lift it a bit. I've tried many different ones, and my favorite so far has been Balmains volume and texture spray. However, it is very expensive. I found this and the price and previous reviews made me try it. What a positive surprise! ❤️ Gives a nice and natural lift ❤️ Makes the hair just the right amount matte ❤️ Feels barely in the hair ❤️ No residue is visible in my dark hair ❤️ Smells good and just the right amount 😶 The durability is however so-so, especially if you are outdoors. Is it better than Balmain? No. Will I still buy it again for my everyday hairstyle? YES!

    K is for Kerria 🌼🌿

Since I'm turning 40 this year, I'm doing a fun makeup challenge to challenge myself. A-z of plants and flowers 🌼🌸🌿 In this look, I've taken inspiration from the flower Kerria, a yellow flower that grows in bushes.

    Perfect!

I have dyed my hair for many years, both at home and at the salon, and have tried quite a few brands over the years. But for me, I always come back to Schwarzkopf. I have previously used the blue-black in the same series as this one, but wanted something that was coal-black without other colors in the undertone. This one is truly perfect! And besides the perfect completely black shade, it is more durable than other blacks I have tried, and the formula is a bit looser which makes it easier to distribute the color in the hair when dyeing it myself. Definitely a home run!

    Really like it!

I am very picky with mascaras, so I am always on the hunt for "the one I will always have at home." Is this it? It seems like it, right? 😄 I think Maybelline overall has incredibly affordable and good mascaras, and previously my favorite was the Surreal falsies mascara (the purple one), but it dries out quickly in the packaging and then doesn't get as Pow-ig. This one is basically just as good as that, but not as dry which makes it a bit sharper. It's not too wet, the brush is just the right size and coats the lashes well even in the inner corner. The lashes get both length and volume, and it neither flakes nor smudges throughout the day. Simply a really great mascara!

    A is for Anemone

I am turning 40 this year, so I wanted to do some fun makeup challenge to celebrate it. After a lot of thought, I decided on the alphabet challenge focusing on plants. Here is my first look in the series. 🧡💜 I have used Kimchi chic's Citrus queen palettes among others and I really love them! The flowers are made with white eyeliner as a base, purple eyeshadow, and black eyeliner for outlines.
