Very clean feeling!
Such a great shampoo! I use quite a few products in my hair daily, like oil, leave-in, etc. I feel like my hair gets heavy after a few weeks, so I bought this deep cleansing shampoo and have used it about 2-3 times a month, and oh what a difference! My hair feels much fresher and healthier, after use plus conditioner it just feels... clean. And fresh. So-so.
Thin, creamy concealer that covers pretty well. Easy to apply and nice texture. However, it creases a lot! Settles into all my fine lines and moves around a bit during the day. Very nice night cream/night mask. I usually get incredibly dry during fall/winter, plus I have sensitive skin so it feels hard to find something that works for everything. It has a gel consistency and takes time to absorb, so don’t apply right before bedtime because it can get sticky. However, the effect is great, I definitely feel more moisturized in the morning and my skin isn’t as dry, and no reactions on the skin, it just feels good! I've gone through x number of Milky toners because my dry face needs as much moisture as it can get, but this one is such a gamechanger! I find that most toners in the same category disappear into the skin a bit too quickly, but this one gives such an incredible glow and moisturizes so well all day long! Holds well!
My hair is curly, frizzy, and overall pretty hard to tame. I find that products promising moisture protection usually work... meh, kind of. This one smells GREAT. Love Amika’s scents, luxurious salon feel that stays in the hair for a while. If you’re sensitive to scents, this is not for you. When you spray it in, the hair gets a bit wet but it dries quickly, so I find it easiest to spray when the hair is slightly damp, before blow-drying. The effect is okay. I think the style holds longer than usual, the hair becomes shiny and nice, but against humidity, meh. Very good cream!
As a starting point, I have quite dry and sensitive skin, with tendencies towards both eczema and perioral dermatitis. My skin therefore needs a lot of moisture and fat to not dry out completely. I have previously used Kiehl’s regular cream (the one in the white jar?) and it works quite well, but this one has that little extra. The skin feels moisturized without feeling tight, and I don’t get red or break out from it. It feels very safe to use. I like the texture – it slowly absorbs into the skin without leaving any residue. I think it will be perfect as a day cream during winter! I've been using this spray for a while now, which according to the description should provide volume and also work a bit like a dry shampoo. Unfortunately, I don't feel that it lives up to expectations. I see neither a noticeable increase in volume nor does my hair feel particularly refreshed between washes. The result is rather quite neutral, without that lift or texture that I had hoped for. It's possible that I haven't found the right technique yet, but so far the effect has been absent. The only positive is the mild and pleasant scent, which feels discreet and fresh. A good conditioner that works well for slightly thinner and finer hair. It's light in consistency and doesn't weigh the hair down, which keeps it feeling airy and movable after washing. The hair becomes soft and easy to detangle, without feeling flat or greasy. The scent is pretty okay, fresh but nothing that stands out too much. However, I'm unsure how much moisture it actually adds. For my quite damaged and dry hair, I don't feel it provides enough hydration. A good everyday conditioner, but maybe not enough for more damaged hair. A pretty okay shampoo that does the most basic job. It lathers well and is easy to distribute in the hair, which makes it feel easy to use. The scent is pleasant but nothing that stands out or feels particularly luxurious. After washing, the hair feels clean and fresh, but I don't notice any significant difference compared to other regular shampoos.
