There’s a reason this has become so popular! I was a bit skeptical when I accidentally ordered the waterproof one a while ago and didn’t like it at all, but the regular one impresses🤩 This mascara gives long, voluminous lashes, without clumps AND it lasts all day without flaking!! My only small downside is that the applicator picks up a bit too much product when it’s brand new, so it’s easy to touch the skin. Not for me 😢
I got to test this as #lykoinflutester in collaboration with #lorealparis 🌸 The idea behind this is good, but unfortunately it didn't work well for me. The color turned out a bit too orange, I missed more glow, and when it dried down, it almost looked more matte (a bit like a bronzer). It's very possible that this could work well for other skin tones, but my winter pale Nordic skin unfortunately didn't match well with this. Holds what it promises🤩
I love this! 💖 This has become a staple in my makeup routine! It feels more like skincare than makeup when I apply it. It's light, fresh, and really moisturizing without being sticky (even though it makes the makeup sit well!) My skin gets a nice plump effect and looks healthy and glowy almost immediately. The makeup applies more evenly, the foundation lasts better throughout the day, and I avoid the dry feeling that many primers can give. Perfect for those who care about both skin and makeup, and want a base that actually does something for the skin. Bonus that it works just as well alone on “no makeup” days. Durable and good mist!
I have tested this for a few weeks and it has become a regular companion during the holiday party season💅 I must honestly admit that I have never been able to get into setting powder, so a good setting spray has become my best friend when it comes to keeping my makeup on all night long! This spray from Rebecca Stella lives up to all the areas I think a setting spray should! The bottle has a simple and nice design and the most important thing - a good and light mist that spreads evenly over the face. Extra pressure on light, I use a goood amount of sprays to feel properly covered💋 The product lasts long anyway, as it doesn't come out too much at once! I have really tested whether it keeps the makeup in place now during the holiday party season with full makeup several times…🥁 it does! The spray has a mild and pleasant scent, which is not too strong, so this should work for most! It also provides good moisture, so the makeup doesn't feel heavy or cakey. Sweet Summer Scent🌸
I’ve been so lucky to test this for a few weeks, so the verdict is in👩🏼⚖️ Personally, when I choose perfume, I love fresh and relatively light scents! Notes I often go for are jasmine, ylang ylang, sandalwood, tuberose, and orange blossom. Gia definitely matches one of the notes I usually look for, and this smells very much like orange blossom. The scent is sweet and quite mandarin-like. For me personally, this might be a bit too sweet, at least now in winter. This probably suits summer and sun best, so I’ll bring it out again when the warmth returns🌞 The bottle is super cute and gets to sit on display in my bathroom! I love products that can both be used and help «style» a room💅 The perfume is quite strong and lasts a long time, so one or two sprays (max!) is enough. I've been testing this for a few weeks and yes, I am converted! This is my new holy grail🏆 I have combination skin, a bit sensitive and quite dry when it starts to get cold🥶 My biggest problem with combination skin is finding something that provides good moisture to the areas that need it without getting oily in the rest of my face. This one does it all! I am a big fan of pump bottles, so I don't have to get bacteria in my moisturizer😌 The consistency is velvety soft and easy to massage into the skin, extra plus for drying quickly➕ A little minus for a bit of a weird smell, but it disappears quickly➖ The cream gives a light and natural glow, and my skin feels well moisturized all day🤩 And then we have the icing on the cake: it has sun protection🧴🌞 I prefer to keep my skincare to a minimal number of steps, at least in the morning (I usually run through the bathroom to make it to work hehe), so a moisturizer with sun protection is a sure winner for me🥇 The price is unfortunately steep, but the cream is economical in use and the results speak for themselves. Good but not the best
I have tested this for a few weeks along with several products in this series and I am generally quite satisfied! BUT here are some things we should talk about🫣 I have not been a fan of oil-based serums before, but here dermalogica has managed to change my mind! The serum is myyy soft, provides lots of moisture, and maybe the most important for me; it doesn't feel sticky and absorbs quickly!! When it comes to the promises the serum makes, it gets some points for hydrating well, but I haven't felt or seen much change in lines and wrinkles from facial expressions 🫣 If you have used dermalogica before, you might know that the products don't have the best scent in the world, but you have to sacrifice something for beauty😛 The ingredients and results are good and the scent disappears quite quickly! With this one, I struggled a bit to get the pipette to work, it just wouldn't pick up more than 2 small drops at a time. The bottle is matte and gets a bit oily quickly, so I recommend screwing it back on and putting it away BEFORE you start massaging in the serum😂 All in all, this is a good serum, but I don't think it delivers on all its promises. Mild but a bit tricky
I've been testing this for several weeks now, and as someone who often wears makeup, spends many hours in the city air, and has skin that sometimes feels dry and tight, this has become a nice little ritual in my evening routine. It provides mild exfoliation, soft and glowy skin💅 The product is a powder that you mix with water so it foams up. I have to honestly say that I'm not a super fan of this way of doing it, as it is a bit messy and hard to get a good consistency. It's very easy to use too much water🫣 The instructions said you only needed wet hands, but in my experience, that has been too little. Fine lines there, though! The scrub itself, once you get it mixed together, is good! It's mild and gentle on the skin, yet effective at exfoliating. The smell (and feeling) is very reminiscent of baking powder with water, so it's not super attractive. I use this along with Dermalogica's Magnetic AfterGlow Cleanser, and the two together give clean, lovely, glowy, and soft skin. Luxury for the skin🧖🏼♀️
I've been testing this for a few weeks now and I must say; I am impressed! 💅 Dermalogica rarely disappoints and this line is no exception. My skin: combination, a bit sensitive, dry in the fall/winter. This cleanser works peeerf for my skin, it cleans well without drying out the skin and also provides moisture! What I liked: - The skin feels soft and hydrated, not tight or dry like some cleansers do - It does the job of removing the day's impurities, both makeup and city air - The skin definitely looks fresh after use! - The consistency is good, easy to work into the skin and easy to rinse off. A tiny minus, I didn’t think it smelled super good🥲 But the scent is so mild that it doesn’t matter! I can definitely recommend this for combination/dry skin, and those with sensitive skin will probably tolerate this! A classic!
Lyko has let me test this for a few weeks now, so here’s the verdict 🤠 This is a classic for a reason, it works💅 What I love 😌 - Smoooth application and it dries quickly - It smells good, but not too much. Really fresh shower scent! - Alcohol-free, so it doesn’t dry out the skin and is great for sensitive skin - Keeps the skin dry and free from sweat odor What I’m a little less of a fan of😔 - Even though it does the job well, I don’t feel that 48 hours is realistic. I have to apply it every day. - The price is on the higher side for a deodorant, but it does a better job than «store-deo» All in all, I’m a big fan of this, but I find it hard to justify the price, so I always look for this on sale😛 #lykoinflutester #biotherm1 product in post A classic!664 views
