Super nice!
I got to try Waterclouds' brand new Gloss Revive series. The leave-in mist is supposed to give lots of shine, not weigh the hair down, provide heat protection up to 230 degrees, preserve color, and combat frizz. My hair is not colored, but there is some bleaching left in the ends. I have naturally wavy hair that quickly becomes dry and frizzy. I usually blow-dry my hair, and shine is something I strive for. Since I have quite thick hair, I am drawn to lighter products to be able to maintain volume in the hair. The mist is light and distributes the product evenly in the hair, the scent is wonderful and not overpowering, the product leaves lots of shine without weighing the hair down. Something that surprised me was when I used the mist on my naturally wavy hair, it became so shiny and easy to manage! If I could wish for something, I would have liked the product to have a bit more hold or some texture as well, but otherwise I have nothing to complain about! Recommend! Gets heavy in the hair quickly
I got to try Waterclouds' brand new Gloss Revive series. The hair mask is supposed to provide intense hydration, give a light-reflecting surface on the hair, preserve color, and combat frizz. My hair is not colored, but there is some bleaching left in the ends. I have naturally wavy hair that quickly becomes dry and frizzy. I usually blow-dry my hair, and shine is something I strive for. The hair mask has a very thick consistency and I find it quite economical. The hair quickly felt a bit greasy and heavy if I used too much product. I almost feel like it works best without a follow-up conditioner. Regarding shine, I can only say yes! It works really well based on what it promises. The scent is wonderful, just like all the products in the series. Soft and mature without being too much. I probably wouldn’t recommend the product to people with thin hair, but if you have fairly thick hair like me that quickly gets dry, it’s great (in the right amount)! My hair is not colored, but there is some bleaching left in the ends. I have naturally wavy hair that quickly becomes dry and frizzy. I usually blow-dry my hair, and shine is something I strive for. Of all the products in the series, the conditioner is probably my absolute favorite! It softens, adds shine, gives that silky feeling in the hair as promised, and smells wonderful without weighing the hair down. The hair still has volume after the conditioner and doesn’t feel greasy. The scent is just right, feels mature and soft without lingering like a strong cloud in the air. A bit heavy but very good
I got to try Waterclouds' brand new Gloss Revive series. The shampoo is supposed to provide gentle cleansing, add shine, preserve color, and calm frizz. My hair is not colored, but there is some bleaching left in the ends. I have naturally wavy hair that quickly becomes dry and frizzy. I usually blow-dry my hair after washing, and who doesn't love a soft and shiny result! My thoughts on the shampoo are that it has a rich and creamy texture with a truly wonderful scent. The scent feels fresh, cozy, and mature, and it’s just the right strength. On my hair, the shampoo feels a bit heavy on its own, and I need to wash my hair more often than I usually do, but if I first use a deep-cleansing shampoo and then this one, I get really nice results! I think it’s especially good now during autumn and winter when hair tends to feel a bit more fragile. Lumene's lip glow oil balm is supposed to be moisturizing and give shine to the lips, has nice ingredients and several shades. Several of the shades also have SPF 30, which is great, and I wish all of them did!! My experience with the product is that it is pleasant but unfortunately I don’t get a wow feeling. It feels comfortable on the lips, smells nice of vanilla, and doesn’t stick. But it also doesn’t last, not that Lumene claimed it would, but it feels like you need to reapply every five minutes and then the product suddenly doesn’t feel quite worth it. Love for us with really fair skin!
I have tried Lumene's Multi-Stick in the Bronzer shade Light Brown and oh my god, what a magical formula!! It just melts into the skin and is so easy to work with, whether you first work it into the brush or apply it directly to the skin (showing both ways in the video). Also so nice to use on the eyelids! Light Brown works really well on fair skin like mine, it doesn't get too gray or too orange like bronzers easily do on lighter skin. Nice and matte base
Lumene's Blur Even Cover foundation is said to be a radiant matte foundation with skin-caring ingredients that last all day, a full 16 hours promised! The product is supposed to provide high coverage while still feeling light on the skin. I have tried shade 0, which is the lightest of them. Usually, I fall among the lightest colors, but sometimes even these are too dark for me, but not this one! It was light enough and truly a neutral undertone. My skin is a combination of dry and normal, so I usually tend to go for more glowing foundations or lighter skin tints to not hide my freckles, especially in the summer. Regarding the radiant matte finish, I can only agree. It spontaneously feels like glow and matte are two opposites, but somehow this foundation manages to be both at the same time. Because it is matte, I find that it clings a bit to dry patches, and I don't think it would work in autumn or winter for my skin, but in summer it works perfectly. I haven't tried it for 16 hours, but it definitely stays nice all day! In the video, I applied a thinner layer for lighter coverage, but it builds up well for higher coverage. Stable alternative for mascara
For a while now, I’ve been able to try Rimmel’s Wonder’Bonds Lash Filler + Hyaloronic mascara in 001 Black. The mascara is said to be properly black, which I agree with. That it’s also supposed to be caring for the lashes is a big plus. The brush is flexible, and the bristles are not too hard but firm enough to catch and shape the lashes. I usually have trouble with all mascaras smudging around my eyes throughout the day due to the shape of my eyes, but this one actually hasn’t! I’ve tried both setting concealer with powder and not setting the concealer at all, no problems with smudging! However, it states in the mascara’s description that it doesn’t clump, which I don’t completely agree with. It’s quite easy for it to get clumpy, and I haven’t been able to apply a second layer of mascara because then it doesn’t look good. But maybe it’s one of those mascaras that gets better once it dries a bit, but either way, you have to be a little light-handed. Conclusion! Volume? Check! Gentle on the lashes? Check! Stays nice all day without flaking or smudging? Check! Clump-free? Naa.. Worth trying? An unexpected favorite
I had the opportunity to try the NYX the face glue primer as #lykoinflutester! Over the course of a few weeks, I have tried this primer and subjected it to long days, blustery autumn weather, and toddler stickiness. Here are my thoughts! Pros: ▫️No scent at all on the product ▫️Doesn't add any color, so it suits everyone ▫️Hasn't caused any breakouts ▫️No skin irritation (I usually have quite sensitive skin) ▫️Doesn't crumble Cons: ▫️Accidentally unscrewed the whole cap a few times when trying to open the packaging ▫️A bit "childish" packaging, might make some buyers think twice I did a little wear test for 8 hours (see the pictures) where I walked in the rain, got many wet kisses from my daughter, took a nap, ran around in stores, and generally did some home fixing. At the end of the day, the makeup was still looking nice, and the test gets a full approval. I am SO impressed with how well this primer works! I don't even need to set my stick blush, and it still holds. What I've learned is that you shouldn't overwork the product when applying it, but rather spread an even layer and let it sit for a few seconds so it can dry a bit. What I can say, though, is that I probably wouldn't have bought the primer if I hadn't had the chance to try it, due to the packaging as it feels more targeted towards teenagers. If I could dream, I would have wanted the same product in a different packaging! In summary, dare to buy this even if the packaging doesn't appeal to you! I have tried Redken's Acidic Bonding Concentrate Leave In Treatment for a few weeks as a #lykoinflutester and here are my opinions! A little background on my hair to understand my starting point for the review. I have thick and wavy hair that has been bleached before, the ends still have highlights and can become damaged more easily than the rest of the hair. I wash my hair twice a week and usually do not use heat tools more than a maximum of 1-2 times a week. The packaging is sleek and easy to use, I personally really like the scent! It smells fresh and mature, not overly sweet, and the scent doesn't linger like a cloud around the head but fades slowly after a while. Pros: ▫️The hair becomes really shiny and nice ▫️contains heat protection up to 230 degrees which means you don't need as many products ▫️Protects colored hair ▫️Repairs the hair ▫️Economical, you don't need much product Cons: ▫️Can be a bit heavy for fine hair In summary, I really like the product and the results I've gotten! My hair is soft, shiny, and feels healthy. The ends that are still a bit bleached feel better. I am impressed with Redken for this and have absolutely nothing to complain about!
