Great product but minus for the packaging
I got to try La Roche-Posay's sunscreen Anthelios Hydrating lotion spf 50+, which is a sunscreen for the body but can also be used on the face. #lykoinflutester #larocheposay Pros: ☀️ Creamy consistency that sinks in quickly and doesn't feel like a film, barely noticeable ☀️ Easy to work with ☀️ Works great for the face and doesn't sting the eyes (I wear contact lenses and have had no issues at all) ☀️ Leaves no white cast ☀️ Fragrance-free ☀️ Water and sweat resistant Cons: 🌧️ The packaging is unfortunately not my personal favorite, and I'm referring to the lid itself. Only opening a part of the lid doesn't work, it gets messy at once. Overall a really good sunscreen that can be used all over the body, maybe a bit too greasy for the face and therefore not suitable for the oiliest out there. Super nice sunscreen!
I got to try La Roche-Posay's sunscreen Anthelios Uvmune 400 Anti-dark Spots Fluid spf 50+, the classic thin sunscreen from LRP but with extra focus on combating pigmentation. I am pale with lots of freckles, which means I burn way too easily in the sun. After my pregnancy, I also want to protect a bit extra against pigment changes in the skin, and this is a good alternative. It should always be said that sunscreen protects against skin cancer and is recommended to be used daily. Pros: ☀️ Thin consistency ☀️ Easy to work with ☀️ Convenient packaging to take in your bag ☀️ Absorbs quickly ☀️ Doesn't sting the eyes (I wear contact lenses and have had no issues at all) ☀️ Leaves no white residue ☀️ Doesn't roll under makeup ☀️ Fragrance-free ☀️ High UVA protection ☀️ Combats pigmentation Cons: None! Fantastic sunscreen and a very nice alternative for those who have issues with pigmentation spots. Really good sunscreen!
Perfect sunscreen factor for the face! Easy a 10/10. I got to try La Roche-Posay's sunscreen Anthelios Uvmune ultra light spf 50+, but it's not a new product for me, just a dear friend in the bathroom cabinet. I am pale with lots of freckles = I burn way too easily. Nobody wants skin cancer, and that's why sunscreen is a must! If you also want to prevent fine lines, spf is recommended year-round. Positive things about the product: ☀️ Thin consistency ☀️ Easy to work with ☀️ Convenient packaging to take in your bag ☀️ Absorbs quickly ☀️ Doesn't sting the eyes (I wear contact lenses and have had no issues at all) ☀️ Leaves no white cast ☀️ Doesn't roll under makeup ☀️ Fragrance-free ☀️ Haven't gotten any pimples (easily clogged) Cons: None! Pigmented Blush!
I got to try Make Up Store's new Superior Colour Blush Stick in the shades Cool Pink and Soft Coral. It’s a luxurious packaging and feels sleek. I also appreciate the detail with stickers in the same shade as the product, it really helps when rummaging around for a specific color in the makeup bag! It’s a creamy yet somewhat powdery formula that is easy to blend both with fingers and brush (I don’t see any issues with a sponge, though I haven’t tried it myself). I find the product to be pigmented, matte, and both shades I’ve tried are cool-toned. A really nice product, but it’s not for me. A bit too pigmented, but it’s saved by how easy it is to apply. BUT I get a serious headache from something in the product's scent. I haven’t been able to wear it for more than 30 minutes before I had to take off the makeup. If you’re not sensitive to the fragrance in the product, it’s definitely worth the price tag. Love the product but headache-inducing scent
I have tried Make Up Store's new Superior Sun Bronzer Stick in the shade Caramel Touch, which works well with my pale skin. First and foremost, I want to say that the packaging feels luxurious and sleek, I also appreciate that the color is found on a sticker on the bottom of the stick (such a thing makes it so much easier when rummaging around for products in the makeup bag). The formula itself is creamy and very easy to work with. It is pigmented, matte, and somewhat powdery when it dries down. Since I am a mom, I don't always have much time to get ready, and I highly value simplicity! I love everything about this product, and it would easily get a 5/5, BUT the scent gives me a headache 😓 It doesn't smell much, but it's something I react to, and it lingers in a thin cloud around my head. Unfortunately, I have had to remove my makeup after a few hours every time I've tried this bronzer. Everyday Luxury in a Lipstick
I got to try the Sensai Lasting Plump Lipstick in the shades LP07 Rosy Nude and LP01 Ruby Red. The lipsticks are supposed to provide hydration, long-lasting shine, and be comfortable on the lips. My opinion on the lipstick and the formula: ◾ Easy to apply thanks to the shape that is a bit narrower, allowing for more precision ◾ Hydrating, doesn’t settle into fine lines or cling to dry patches ◾ Comfortable to wear ◾ Needs to be reapplied throughout the day, which is expected from this type of lipstick Color Ruby Red: ◾ Gives a nice shine ◾ Tints the lips a bit, which makes the color "necessary" to look good ◾ Easy to get the edges of the lip with the thin and sharp side of the lipstick, which is extra important with a red shade ◾ A bit cooler in tone Color Rosy Nude: ◾ A slightly glittery pink shade ◾ Super nice everyday shade, a simple and luxurious "grab and go" In summary, a comfortable and nice lipstick formula that doesn’t settle into fine lines or emphasize dry patches. Needs to be reapplied throughout the day. Only sold as refills and used in Sensai's Lipstick Holder, which is a convenient way to switch between different shades, though one wishes the prices were a bit lower since you have to buy the lipstick holder.
