    Versatile product

Laneige's cerapeptide refiner is such a versatile product and also simple, which I love: simplicity. I've already used 2-3 bottles. This particular product gives you moisture and GLOW. Also it makes skin texture look better and it calms skin. In winter it gives you hydration under a moisturizer and if you feel, you can add a serum if you want more moisture but I myself have sensitive skin which is prone to dehydration and other irritation and also suffer from hormonal breakouts. In summer it's enough on its own under a sunscreen if it's super humid and warm outside. You can give your skin a break especially on those hot summer days by using only this at night. Give this a go. Another similar product I'd be interested in to try is the Rhode milky toner but it's not available in Finland, which is a shame. I hope Lyko would bring it available some day in the future ;)

Thanks for the reply. I wonder if this leaves skin dry after however. Most oil cleanser do tend to leave my face super tight even though they claim to be gentle and non-stripping. I've used the Calendula oil cleanser from Iunik but even that leaves my skin tight especially at this time of the year.. I only use one cleanser per cleansing session (1 in the morning, milk, and 1 in the evening oil OR milk). I hate the tight feeling and I always have to quickly reach out my toner after rinsing my face. Would you have any idea of a product that could suit me? I usually would want to use an oil cleanser or balm in the evening just because it cleanses day's sweat/pollutants/sunscreen etc better than a milk cleanser and it should be fragrance-free. Fyi, I've tested and used i. a. Clinique's cleansing balm, Hwarang bell flower cleansing balm and also Laponie's oil cleanser and they all leave my face tight.

    Jeju matcha clay mask

Is this suitable for sensitive combo/dry skin that's also dehydrated at times? I suffer from mild hormonal breakouts every now and then but some blemishes take forever to clear and heal so I was wondering if a clay mask would help...

I have the same issue as you, and I have this. It is gentle on my skin at least and it feels super good to wash it off in the shower 🚿 I can suggest talking to the doctor about some prescription gel you can use on the area where you get hormonal breakouts. It has helped me a bit. Good luck 🫶🏼

Hello Kim! 👋🏼 For a sensitive and dry scalp, the best option is The Inkey List Salicylic Acid Exfoliating Scalp Treatment 🥰 It gently removes buildup and flakes without scrubbing, while also hydrating thanks to ingredients like panthenol and glycerin. 👉🏼 lyko.com/sv/the-inkey-list/the-inkey-list-salicylic-acid-exfoliating-scalp-treatment-15 Use it once a week, leave on for up to 10 minutes before shampooing. Avoid using it if your scalp is irritated or has open wounds, as it might sting 🤗 It’s a great way to keep your scalp clean, calm, and balanced without drying it out. Have a great day ☀️

    led mask

Hi! I've heard that led masks treat various skin problems. Which of the CurrentBody led masks would you recommend for someone who suffers from mild hormonal inflammation (34 years old female) and redness? I've sensitive skin and have never used a led mask before nor had a professional treatment done. I've textural irregularities due to old acne (scars) and I don't suffer that much of pigmentation except if I get new pimples they leave a pigmented mark but eventually fade away. Biggest problem is the inflammation and mild redness. My skin tends to get tight after cleansing even though I only use one cleanser per time (1 x day and 1 x night), I think it's dehydrated chronically. Thanks beforehand! ^_^

Hi! Based on what you describe, it sounds like the CurrentBody Skin LED Light Therapy Mask could be a great fit for you 😊 It works with both red and near infrared light, which helps to reduce inflammation and redness - while strengthening the skin barrier, boosting collagen production and giving the skin a smoother texture 💫 Perfect for you with sensitive skin and old acne scars! Since you haven't tried LED treatment before, it can be nice to know that the mask is clinically tested and gentle, even for reactive skin. An added bonus is that it also helps to deeply moisturize the skin, which is great if you experience tightness or dehydration. Tip: Start with 3-5 minutes a few times a week and gradually increase to give your skin time to adjust. Have the best! ✨

    OK for natural hair color?

Is this suitable for hair that is not dyed? My natural hair color is brown / chestnut brown, I've medium thick hair that reaches down half of my back. The area I live in has hard water. I also think that I have quite a lot of hair fall in the shower (though I read it's normal to lose as many as 400 hair on washdays) and my scalp can get itchy after the following days and it's dry

Hey Kim! 😊 Yes, this works for uncolored hair too, especially if you live in an area with hard water. It helps to remove metal residues that can make the hair dry and lifeless ✨ But since you have a dry and sensitive scalp, it might be good not to use it every wash. Try alternating with a milder, moisturizing shampoo and feel free to finish with a nourishing mask 🫧 Take care! 🤍

    Depot male tools

I’ve dry scalp but my hair should also not get dry from the shampoo. Which of the depot male tools would be best for this purpose? I’ve medium thick hair and I usually lose a lot of hair in the shower. Almost all the shampoos from different brands I’ve used or tried so far have left my scalp dry. Then my scalp gets dirty quite quickly. I suspect that it’s because of the dryness of the scalp and not oiliness. I do not heat style my hair ever, I let it air dry. I don’t use anything else on my hair than conditioner in the shower and sometimes (very rarely) a leave-in conditioning serum.

Can this be used with azelaic acid or would this alone help treat mild periorificial dermatitis (a rash around mouth)?

Hello Kim, Thank you for contacting us! 🥰 I would recommend focusing on soothing and hydrating products for the issue you described. For example, Laponie's Calming Serum could be a great choice! 'It’s excellent for managing symptoms of rosacea and periorificial dermatitis (POD) and is a gentle option for hormonal breakouts.' lyko.com/fi/laponie-of-scandinavia/laponie-of-scandinavia-calming-serum-20-ml If you’d like to pair azelaic acid with another serum, I would recommend hyaluronic acid! 💦 You can also fill out our free skin test here to get more personalized recommendations: lyko.com/fi/beauty-scan/ihotesti Have a great week! 🌞
