Pleasant serum that doesn't irritate my skin!✨
I have now been testing #dermalogica Neurotouch Symmetric Serum for over a month and I love it! ✨ My skin is currently very dry and I have a bit of problem skin with pimples and redness at the moment. But this serum has really helped to hydrate me. I also see it positively that I haven't reacted negatively or gotten more pimples. 🥰 I really like that it comes with a little guide showing how to massage the face. I usually use my Gua Sha stone, which I easily massage with. (Tried to show a bit quickly in the video when I followed some of the massage steps that came with it) And this serum is super nice and easy to use together with my Gua Sha. 😊 Unfortunately, I can't say if I've noticed any significant difference in wrinkles/fine lines, but my review is based on the overall feeling I've had after using the serum. 😍 I really like the packaging even though it took me a while to figure out how to open it, haha. Sleek and nice packaging. At first, I was a bit skeptical about the scent, it smells very strong, but that was something I got used to. The consistency is smooth and soft, a bit like a diluted oil, which I really appreciate. What might possibly lower my final review is the price. No favorite for me
Thick and lovely oil that gives a real moisture boost and makes the evening routine a bit cozier🥰 It's nice to massage in, and the little sheet with massage techniques was actually a bit fun to try out. Feels relaxing and luxurious on the skin. BUT even though it feels good on the skin, I haven't seen much tightening or wow effect🙈 That said: the pipette… not quite friends with it🥲 Very difficult to get proper product out, and that drags the experience down a bit. Small minus for the bottle quickly becoming "greasy" since it is matte and the product is an oil.. All in all, a pleasant oil, but the price is steep. I think you can find a similar feeling in a cheaper oil.. Only gets 2 stars as it is a good oil, but no wow effect for me. Good but expensive. The question remains if it's effective?
I have been testing this serum for just over a month. As a reference, my skin type is dry and I have fine lines on my face. This is supposed to be a high-tech and innovative serum with plant extracts, fermented ingredients, and peptides. The serum comes in a bottle with a click pipette. The design is absolutely necessary as the serum is very viscous. But despite the design, it can still sometimes be difficult to get product into the pipette. The serum is, besides the consistency, somewhat oily, which makes it ideal for dry and mature skin. It feels wonderful to apply this as you can immediately feel how soft the skin becomes. I am unsure if very oily skin would like this feeling. There is a faint scent that is pleasant, but if you dislike scent in your product, you should look for something else. In terms of results, I haven't seen any miraculous changes in my skin, but the usage time has also been short. The price range is definitely higher, and I am torn on whether it is justified. Good but not the best
I have tested this for a few weeks along with several products in this series and I am generally quite satisfied! BUT here are some things we should talk about🫣 I have not been a fan of oil-based serums before, but here dermalogica has managed to change my mind! The serum is myyy soft, provides lots of moisture, and maybe the most important for me; it doesn't feel sticky and absorbs quickly!! When it comes to the promises the serum makes, it gets some points for hydrating well, but I haven't felt or seen much change in lines and wrinkles from facial expressions 🫣 If you have used dermalogica before, you might know that the products don't have the best scent in the world, but you have to sacrifice something for beauty😛 The ingredients and results are good and the scent disappears quite quickly! With this one, I struggled a bit to get the pipette to work, it just wouldn't pick up more than 2 small drops at a time. The bottle is matte and gets a bit oily quickly, so I recommend screwing it back on and putting it away BEFORE you start massaging in the serum😂 All in all, this is a good serum, but I don't think it delivers on all its promises. New essential in my bathroom cabinet!!
I've been using this for about a month and my skin hasn't felt this good in a long time! I often have dry skin, but with this serum, it feels hydrated and smoother 😌✨ It absorbs quickly into the skin despite having a medium-thick oily consistency. I easily get breakouts from oilier serums, but not at all from this one 💅 The fact that it absorbs so quickly while providing deep hydration makes it work great under makeup! A luxurious fragrant serum!
I got to test this serum from dermalogica, a serum that is supposed to be moisturizing and firming.✨ The serum comes in a nice gray matte packaging. I have used it between face wash and face cream. The serum is yellow and smells really good.😍 It has been a great addition to my evening routine, it has been lovely to massage the serum in, as it is oil-based.☺️ After that, I applied my usual night cream, and there were no issues. Overpriced
I was initially very positive about this product as I am a big fan of oils in the evening during winter. Unfortunately, I have to say that I am quite disappointed.. The container is a bit hard to understand and the pipette inside picks up very little. You get the feeling that the container has very little product, which is annoying when you need to use 4-6 drops for the whole face per use. I actually think 6 drops were still quite little to be able to massage, which is what you are supposed to do. I did like the oil itself, it doesn’t smell bad in my opinion and gives a somewhat luxurious feeling. It moisturizes well and gave me a nice glow, both right after application and the morning after. My skin liked it (I have combination skin), but I didn’t see any exceptional effect beyond moisture. My conclusion is that it is a perfectly okay facial oil, but when you take into account how little it lasts along with the price, I can’t help but give it a bad score. When I received the product, I thought it probably cost around 700-800, even that is at the top end in my opinion for a facial oil… Maybe I’m using the product completely wrong, but I probably won’t buy this myself when it’s empty. #lykoinflutester #dermalogica71 views- The user's roll: Customer service at Lyko. An exclusive serum with something completely new, namely a massage routine!
This serum gives an exclusive feeling. When you open the packaging, you just go wow! The product comes with a guide for the "massage routine" that should be done together with the product. I have actually never massaged my face before, and I noticed how much tension I have over my eyes, at the eyebrows (brows + forehead in the guide). It feels great to loosen these up with the massage routine. There is a note with a massage guide, but I thought this video showed it quite well: instagram.com/reel/DNYUwStsdMV/ I have only used this product in the evening, but I didn't massage every day I tested, but did it on the days I had time, and it feels really good for the skin/lifting! Positives: ➕ I like the concept of the "massage routine" for the face ➕ Noticed that I was less puffy in the morning after the evenings I had used serum + massage method ➕ Tested a thin layer under makeup, and it worked fine ➕ Easy to apply on the skin (using a pipette and applying the product directly to the face) ➕ Easy to remove with water/soap from fingers after application Negatives: ➖ I found some of the massage techniques difficult to get right, especially the one with the neck, I couldn't do that at all (I think it hurts a bit) ➖ You have to use quite a bit of serum/oil to get the proper massage technique, I think this brings it down a bit, as the serum costs quite a lot ➖ The pipette works quite poorly, as it is difficult to catch the product and get it out in a good way ➖ I don't think the product smells that good, but that's probably a matter of taste, smells a bit woody/forest ➖ Stays on the skin until the morning after (which is actually good, because then it works for a long time), but I prefer that the product absorbs quickly Overall, based on the price, and what I feel I get back with the product, it doesn't quite make it to the top of my list, but I have learned something completely new regarding massage techniques that lifts. I don't feel I can see any clear lifting yet, but I notice that I think it helps, so maybe when I have used serum + massage over an even longer period. I have to start by saying that I generally have never been a big fan of Dermalogica. Their products are often expensive, and I think they have quite strong scents – and this serum is unfortunately no exception. I knew this was an oil serum, but I can't handle the greasy feeling it leaves on the skin. For me, it feels like it never really absorbs, and I’m left with a shiny and sticky skin that isn’t pleasant. The scent is also a bit intense, which makes the experience even less cool. I haven’t tested the serum for very long yet, but so far I notice no effect. At this price, I almost expect something "revolutionary", but I will probably continue to test for a while longer because it’s so expensive that I feel I should give it a chance. The packaging also brings it down. The tube seems cumbersome, it absorbs very little product at a time, and it makes application tricky. Maybe my bottle is defective, but either way, it’s annoying to use. All in all, I’m left a bit disappointed. Expensive for a mediocre serum
I was SO excited to test this serum, as it claims to be face sculpting. However, you still have to use a special technique that resembles lymphatic drainage to get max results. Therefore, I became a bit skeptical about whether this sculpting really relies more on the facial massage itself than the product having a function. The consistency itself resembles a thin oil, but it absorbs quickly into the skin and doesn't feel too sticky. I think it adds a glow, and the skin feels more plump and hydrated. That said, the functionality stops a bit there. With a serum at this price, I expect some «wow» results. I must say that I can't see any major results or changes, apart from the aforementioned. No sculpting effect at least. That said, I have been a bit inconsistent with the massage technique (a bit intentionally to test what effect the serum had alone). If you have the time and energy to incorporate 5 minutes of facial massage and lymphatic drainage into your routine, it might be worth it - but without that step, I think you can find many other good serums that do much of the same for a cheaper price. Serum with a lot of moisture 💫
This serum has a pretty medium thick consistency and provides a lot of moisture. I find that it works really well for sensitive and dry skin. For me, it is a bit too oily and doesn't work quite optimally for me with an oily T-zone. During periods of dry skin, I think the product can be very optimal, but unfortunately, it is a bit too thick for me! The product still gives a very nice «glow» and has no special scent. Symmetry with serum?
I received this serum for testing about a month ago. I was particularly intrigued by the bold promises from Dermalogica's own site: "Nourishing facial oil serum combines neurotechnology and biomimetic plant extract blends that help restore facial symmetry, creating a lifted and contoured appearance." The instructions for facial massage that came with the packaging were a plus, and I have followed them during the testing period. So far, I haven't noticed any visible change in my facial symmetry, but I have been satisfied with the light and easily spreadable consistency that absorbs well. Facial massage, especially in the mornings, has really woken me up, but based on the testing period, I can't say whether this product is necessary for that purpose. The price is high, and I might be missing more groundbreaking results, but I am aware that quick fixes in skincare are not sustainable in the long run, so perhaps the more visible results are still to come. 💫 #lykoinflutester #dermalogica549 views
