Clean skin without tight feeling
I have combination skin that can easily become both sensitive and a bit oily in the T-zone. I have now used it for about 3 weeks, mostly in the evenings but also some mornings, and this gel foams lightly and feels very fresh without the skin feeling tight or dry afterward. It cleans thoroughly from makeup and SPF while the skin still feels soft and balanced. On days when I have makeup on, I do the cleansing twice, and it’s easy to remove waterproof mascara, which I appreciate. I also appreciate that it is really mild for daily use and does not disturb the skin’s natural moisture balance, something many cleansers otherwise can do. After washing, the skin feels clean, clear, and calm. It really works if you want a safe and stable base in your skincare routine. Minus: the price. It is definitely an expensive cleanser, which makes me hesitate a bit to buy it again right away when it runs out — even though the bottle lasts a long time. This is because I have previously invested in budget variants for cleansers, so I can’t quite justify buying a more expensive one when they have worked just as well. Summary: An effective but gentle cleanser that I think is perfect for normal to combination skin and for you who want a reliable cleanser without drama. I have had the honor to try Dermalogica special cleansing gel! This is a very good and gentle cleansing for the skin MY SKIN TYPE Normal/combination. Dry. Small pores by the nose. The packaging is very light and sleek, I think. Practical with the 'button' on top so you don’t need to hold a lot of product because this bottle lasts a long time, but it comes out very quickly so you need to be careful not to dispense too much. The scent I think is a bit like Dermalogica BioLumin-C Serum – a little mandarin peel type, some think it smells like nothing/others think it smells less good but I think it smells refreshingly faintly of mandarin which is a good thing. The consistency is a bit gel-like and when you use it, it foams. It cleans very well on my face, always washes off my makeup well and I who have dry face don’t think it makes my face dry but leaves a refreshing and moisturizing feeling! I've been so lucky to be #lykotestpilot and have received 3 products from #dermalogica 🤩🤩 I really liked this one because it was easy to work with, you get a big bottle of 250ml and it’s economical to use, which is a big plus for me 🥰 My skin became so much smoother and softer after just one use, so I’ve been using this every morning and evening for 2 weeks and I think this has become my new favorite cleanser! I notice a big difference in my skin after using this as well as the serum from the same brand 🫶🏼🫶🏼 PS! INCREDIBLE cleansing
I've been testing this for a couple of weeks now and it has truly become a new favorite! Fantastically effective and gentle cleansing. It removes makeup and impurities without drying out the skin. It feels like it has been good for the skin overall, and I will definitely continue to buy this! New favorite!
I have now used this cleanser for about 3 weeks, and it has become a new favorite here. I have not tried cleansers from Dermalogica before, so this was a positive new experience! My skin: mature skin that is combination, mostly dry. Pros: ✨ Pleasant, thick gel consistency ✨ Does not dry out the skin. I quickly get dry and irritated skin, but this has removed all makeup and other impurities effectively without any irritation. The skin feels soft and clean after cleansing with this ✨ Smells good! Good cleansing without drying out
I had the honor of receiving the #dermalogica Special Cleansing Gel along with some of their other products and have tested them together. This gel has a very subtle and fresh scent and comes in a large package that is easy to use. The cleanser has a gel consistency that foams lightly when mixed with water. It feels fresh on the skin and cleans effectively without being too harsh. Afterwards, the skin feels clean and soft, not tight. The fact that the skin does not feel tight and dry is a big advantage for me as I have dry skin. Therefore, I can feel clean without any discomfort. After using the cleanser for a while, I am satisfied with this product and think it works well as a cleanser without drying out the skin. Good cleanser
The cleanser cleans so well that I have stopped using oil cleansing in addition. The skin feels neither irritated nor dry afterwards. I have also noticed an improvement in the skin, especially small bumps on the cheeks have become smaller since I started using it. A small downside is that it contains essential oils. Still, I have sensitive skin and have not experienced any reaction or irritation. Special cleansing gel
As a #lykotestpilot, I have received some products from #dermalogica. A bit about me: I have combination skin where I easily get oily in the T-zone, especially the nose, but fairly normal to dry on the rest of my face. It has been difficult for me to find cleansers that don’t dry out the skin, so I mostly gave up looking. At first, I was quite skeptical due to previous experiences with cleansers, but this one surprised me. I use it in the evening after removing makeup, and I only use it once. It really is enough to remove the last bit of dirt and feels very gentle on the skin. What I like most is that it doesn’t leave the skin tight or dry, which many other cleansers do to me. Instead, the skin just feels clean and balanced afterwards. However, I do think the price is a bit high. Lovely cleanser for dry skin
I have been testing the Special Cleansing Gel from #dermalogica as #lykotestpilot for about three weeks. The product promises to quickly remove makeup and dirt without drying out the skin and that it is very economical. My first impression is that the bottle is nice, but I think it's easy for too much product to come out, which results in it not being as economical as it could be, but you learn after a while. Lovely thick lather/foam. Right after washing, the skin feels clean and it doesn't tighten like some cleansers can do for me. My skin: very dry and sometimes irritated skin, mature skin with large pores on the nose and chin. I have used the product morning and evening. Special Cleansing Gel is in a similar price range as my favorite cleanser and cleans well and does not irritate the skin. I see fewer blackheads around the nose but that may also be due to the enzyme peeling I have tested at the same time as the Cleansing Gel. What is really nice is that the skin does not feel irritated or tight after washing but still clean and not sticky (like some cleansers for dry skin can do for me).
