Results as Expected!
I tried this color mask last night and I'm pretty okay with the result. I actually have quite light blonde, dyed hair and the length goes down below my breasts. I assume that since this is a color mask, you should probably apply it to damp hair, but in my experience, it always gives better results if you have it on dry hair. I also hadn't washed my hair for about five days before because they were busy retiling my bathroom 🙄, but I've heard that color sticks better to dirty hair than to freshly washed. I don't know, I'm really no hair expert, but apparently it worked. I left the color mask in for a little over an hour, thinking the longer the better 😇 However, it took a lot more product for dry hair than it would have for damp, I used almost the whole tube. I also had half a jar of Directions hair dye in the shade Pastel Pink that I added in at the same time. I like that there were some color variations and I almost wish I had more of it. My hair feels fresh and nice after this mask, I have nothing negative to say about the formulation as such. But I think the pigmentation was a bit weak, but this is really a matter of taste. I like a lot of color in my hair, so I almost wished for even more. We'll see how long it lasts, but honestly, I don't have high expectations since it's just a color mask. But it's fun to change things up a bit! I also think the price is very reasonable for what you get. What are you doing now, because I understand that you want to get rid of this as soon as possible. A clarifying shampoo can help draw out excess pigments. Mild warm color treatments (like beige or light gold tones) can help neutralize the blue-green without making the hair orange. Avoid cool color masks until the tone is balanced. Perfect result!
I think it really depends on what hair color you have and how treated or colored the hair was before, but in my case the result was perfect! I have previously dyed my hair a lot, but now I’m trying to stop coloring it. My natural hair color is dark brown, while my hair from previous coloring had become almost blonde, so the roots became very visible. With Color Fresh Chocolate Touch, I have managed to even out the difference between the roots and the lengths. I bought this in the shade cool espresso. My hair was dyed cold brown at the roots, and I hoped this mask would revive the color. The result is brown, but with red streaks that I didn’t have before. Weird formula
The shade Carmel turned my level 9 bleached hair kind of a muddy purple/pink. I have dark hair that has become very red/orange from a keratin treatment. The hair was dyed darker over the summer, but now almost all of it has faded and it’s red/orange again. It gives a cooler brown tone but can also make the hair a bit darker. If your hair tends to pull more towards orange, a product with blue pigments might be better to neutralize the warmth. Super good!
This is good for keeping the color longer and can be used as a hair mask. Not as expected
Applied the product on slightly wet/damp hair evenly all over and left it for 10 minutes. Half of my head remained “orange-brown” (which I was trying to get rid of) and the length turned black. The only good thing is that it comes off. On lighter highlights, it can therefore make them darker and give a browner tone, rather than just neutralizing the orange. If the highlights are light blonde and have pulled towards orange, a product with blue or blue-purple pigments is usually a better choice to neutralize the warm tones. Cool Espresso is ideal for reviving brunette hair with an elegant rich chocolate tone. The temporary color mask fades gradually and the rich conditioning ingredients in the formula leaves the hair feeling smooth and moisturised, so there is no need to use a conditioner. The at-home treatment is designed for weekly use with visible results in 10 minutes. Wella Color Fresh Mask is enriched with avocado oil and formulated without animal-derived ingredients and silicones.
Use:
Wear gloves. For medium length hair and medium textured hair, use approx. 30 g. Apply generously to lengths and ends and comb through for an even result. Develop for up to 20 minutes for extra intensity.
