Results as Expected!
I tried this color mask last night and I'm pretty okay with the result. I actually have quite light blonde, dyed hair and the length goes down below my breasts. I assume that since this is a color mask, you should probably apply it to damp hair, but in my experience, it always gives better results if you have it on dry hair. I also hadn't washed my hair for about five days before because they were busy retiling my bathroom 🙄, but I've heard that color sticks better to dirty hair than to freshly washed. I don't know, I'm really no hair expert, but apparently it worked. I left the color mask in for a little over an hour, thinking the longer the better 😇 However, it took a lot more product for dry hair than it would have for damp, I used almost the whole tube. I also had half a jar of Directions hair dye in the shade Pastel Pink that I added in at the same time. I like that there were some color variations and I almost wish I had more of it. My hair feels fresh and nice after this mask, I have nothing negative to say about the formulation as such. But I think the pigmentation was a bit weak, but this is really a matter of taste. I like a lot of color in my hair, so I almost wished for even more. We'll see how long it lasts, but honestly, I don't have high expectations since it's just a color mask. But it's fun to change things up a bit! I also think the price is very reasonable for what you get. What are you doing now, because I understand that you want to get rid of this as soon as possible. A clarifying shampoo can help draw out excess pigments. Mild warm color treatments (like beige or light gold tones) can help neutralize the blue-green without making the hair orange. Avoid cool color masks until the tone is balanced. Not as expected
Applied the product on slightly wet/damp hair evenly all over and left it for 10 minutes. Half of my head remained “orange-brown” (which I was trying to get rid of) and the lengths turned black. Yes, it can help to tone down warm tones in some cases, but the Color Fresh Mask Cool Espresso is primarily designed for medium to dark brown hair. On lighter highlights, it can therefore make them darker and give a browner tone, rather than just neutralizing the orange. If the highlights are light blonde and have pulled towards orange, a product with blue or blue-purple pigments is usually a better choice to neutralize the warm tones. No effect
Bought Pearl Blonde to neutralize golden/yellow tones in my bleached hair but probably needed a much stronger product with more toning effect as I didn’t notice any difference at all. So for my bleached hair, this unfortunately became a completely pointless product. I have previously had bleached hair, and a few months ago I had it colored brown at a salon. The color has quickly faded from the sun, and my previously bleached hair doesn't hold the dark pigment very well 😅, so I bought this! I think it worked well, but in the future I will apply a bit more to the ends since they didn't get as dark as the rest of the hair, but it still blends in nicely 👍 Note! Great colour!
I used copper glow to unify my hair colour. I had some leftover henna in my lower ends that went from black to a lovely brown, I have very clear almost blond to brown hair so I wanted to blend the colours together. I used the colour copper glow and let it on my hair for about 30 mins, the application is simple and really easy. The colours fades nicely and last longer depending how much time you let the mask stays and how often you wash your hair. Note that the first picture is during the evening and the 2n during the day!
