    Fantastic hair color😊

I have bleached my hair at home for many years, eventually got tired of having super dry and damaged hair. So I decided to go back to my natural color. It was a very scary decision, but I was very tired of blonde hair and it was a lot of work to maintain the color and health of my hair. I decided to try Wella color touch, as it is not a super permanent color. The color faded slowly but surely, after 5 months almost all the color was gone again. I had very bleached hair, so some of the color will of course remain anyway, but I actually think it just turned out nice😇 I used the color 7.1, and was very pleased with it, it is a lovely cool brown color. (I had to get 2 boxes to color all my hair.) Before and after picture🧖‍♀️

    Oxidant?

I’m going to use 9/97 on my hair after bleaching, but according to chatgpt, an oxidant is needed, otherwise nothing will happen? Is that true? I don’t see anything in the description here about it being necessary? "To use Wella Color Touch 9/97, you need to mix it with an oxidant to activate the color. The recommended oxidant is Wella Color Touch Emulsion 1.9%."

Hey hey Elise 🌸 Yes, it’s true that both the color tube and an oxidant are needed for the color to stick. Both of these are included in the kit we sell from Wella, so you don’t need to buy anything else 😍👌 Good luck!

  • Wella 7.1

I have striped my hair at home and the stripes are white now, can I use this as a root shadow? I'm scared of blue/green tones since the stripes are white, while my natural hair is a level 7. And does it lighten my natural hair?

Hi! 😊 Yes, you can use Wella Color Touch 7/1 as a root shadow, especially since it is at the same level as your natural hair (level 7). It will not lighten your hair, as it is a demi-permanent color – it will only add color and tone, not lift. When it comes to the white strands, it’s wise to be careful. Because 7/1 has an ash tone (blue), it can give a blue or greenish tint on the lightest areas – especially if your strands are almost white. A good tip is to avoid pulling the color too far down on the lightest strands, or possibly tone the white areas separately with a warmer toner. Good luck with the coloring! 💇‍♀️✨

    Hi!

I recently dyed my hair brown after being blonde for a while. I quickly noticed it had a bit of a greenish tint, so I decided to ask a hairdresser what I could do. She said I should buy a Wella professionals colour touch in the shade 7/73. She thought it would remove the green, and my hair wouldn’t turn red because the colors would balance each other out. Is this correct, and is it safe to use on my hair? I really don’t want red hair, but I want to get rid of the green tint. 😊

Hey Maja! It’s easy for hair to turn greenish when going from light to darker, as hair needs underlying pigments that are warm to "support" the new color. It’s hard to say how the color will turn out without seeing a picture of your color, so feel free to send a picture of your hair to frisoren@lyko.com, and I can help you see if that (or another color) might suit you 💌 Have a really nice day for now ☀️

    Got Dark

Hejsan, totally sad, did a bleaching yesterday, was super happy with the result. Could have just left my hair as it was. Hadn't dyed it in a long time before I did the bleaching, and then I had a toner 7 that was pretty washed out. So now I took Wella icy blond and my hair got almost darker than it was before bleaching. 🥹 What can I do to make it light again? I wanted a cool blonde with a bit of strawberry blonde tone, which I had at the time of bleaching, that copper tone then.

Hey Mimmi! 🥰 What type of bleaching have you used? Is it a sulfur-based one, like colourless or colourb4? 😊 This could be the reason why your hair turned darker, as there is a chemical reaction when you tone your hair too soon after bleaching. To help you best, I recommend you take our Hair Color Test, where I get all the information I need to guide you further. You can find the test here 👉🏼lyko.com/sv/beauty-scan Have a great afternoon 🤍

DO NOT recommend for you if you're trying to tone yellow/orange hair

Lightened dark hair with bleach, to the same lightness level, so a 7. Resulted in obviously orange hair, and this toner made exactly ZERO difference, so I still have orange hair despite it containing an ashy tone :’))

Hi Angelica! 😍 Thank you for sharing your experience, sorry to hear you didn't get the desired result 🤍 You can try this toner, it's stronger in pigments and neutralizes coppery and golden tones 👌🏼 lyko.com/sv/montibello/montibello-denuee-7.12 Have a great day ahead ☀️

    Covers gray hair max 50%

Bought Deep Brown Chocolate 6/7. Thought I could hide my gray hairs but instead found that I highlighted them. As the product promised, no more than 50% coverage of gray hairs.

    Bleached Hair

Can you put color 10/81 or 9/16 on freshly bleached hair without having to fear surprising results, like bluish or greenish hair?

Hi, Thank you for your question! 🥰 The product can be used to color already lightened hair, as it contains a relatively mild oxidant. However, we do not recommend using the product if your hair is clearly damaged ❣️ You can see from the product images which darkness level can be used for which shades. Please note, however, that the final result of the color also depends on which hair color it is applied to 😊 If the hair is pure blonde, the final result is generally also brighter/closer to the product image result than if, for example, the lightened hair is yellowish/orange. Generally, the greenish tone you mentioned appears if a slightly darker, cooler shade is added to light hair. This is because the hair lacks warm pigment, and for this reason, the shade tends to turn green. However, I believe that this problem will not occur with the lightest shade variations 🤭 Hope this helps 🤍 Have a wonderful day!
