Wallet-friendly quality 😍
A serum based on growth factors (a kind of plant-based proteins, I think) that minimizes and repairs visible damage to the skin and seems to be preventive against signs of aging. ✨ But why should one buy products with growth factors (like EGF, IGF & TGF) instead of, for example, retinol? If you have sensitive skin, there is a risk of reacting to retinol, while products like this are gentler - but still crazy effective 😍 The serum is said to combat fine lines and wrinkles, loss of firmness and elasticity, rough skin texture, and at the same time contribute to a complexion full of radiance. ✨😍 Does the serum live up to its promises? Yes! My skin feels hydrated, radiant, and the wrinkles are less noticeable - not magically vanished, but still 😍 ➕ Fragrance-free ➕ Light consistency (almost like water) that absorbs quickly ➕ Easy to apply with the dropper ➕ Provides good hydration and radiance ➕ Lives up to its promises ➕ Very wallet-friendly #lykoreview - Most helpful negative4 monthsRating: 2 out of 5
Haven't met my expectations
I've been using serums for many years and have tried quite a few, including many from one of my favorite brands - The Ordinary. However, the GF 15% Solution unfortunately didn’t meet my expectations. Despite its impressive ingredient list and the promise of targeting multiple signs of aging, I didn’t notice any visible improvement in my skin during the time I used it. The texture was also a letdown for me — it's very watery, which made it hard to apply evenly, and it left my skin feeling a bit sticky afterward. For a product that supports hydration and natural barrier, I expected a smoother, more pleasant finish. While it may work for others, especially those new to growth factor serums, it simply didn’t deliver the results I was hoping for. I’ll be sticking with my tried-and-true favorites from The Ordinary, not only for the good price, but also for the quality 👌 🥰 #LYKOINFLUTESTER #THEORDINARY - 22 hours
Hey!
2 questions, To apply it in the best way, should you pat it into the face or just rub it in? It should be the first step in the skincare routine after cleansing, right? So nothing before this then...?17 viewsto leave a comment - 1 week
Breastfeeding
Can you use this while breastfeeding? 😊935 views- Farmaceut på Lyko1 weekHey Linn😊 Thanks for your question!✨ The Ordinary GF Solution 15% does not contain retinoids or strong acids, which are often avoided during breastfeeding, so ingredient-wise it is okay. However, the manufacturer has not provided any clear information on whether the product has been tested or approved for use during breastfeeding as far as I can see. I do see that it is listed as safe during pregnancy under "expecting skincare", but please talk to your doctor/midwife if you feel uncertain and if your skin is extra sensitive 🤱🏼 Wishing you a super nice day🌞1 likes

Rosacea
Hi How does this work if you have sensitive skin that easily flushes and turns red? I suspect I have rosacea.1026 views- Farmaceut på Lyko1 weekHi Emma😊 Thank you for your question✨ The Ordinary GF Solution 15% is a gentle serum with growth factors that support the skin's regeneration. It contains no exfoliating acids and may be suitable for sensitive skin – but since you mention redness and suspected rosacea, I recommend starting cautiously. Please do a patch test first, and introduce the serum slowly, e.g., every other evening, along with soothing and moisturizing skincare. Do you need help putting together a routine that suits sensitive or rosacea-prone skin? We’d be happy to help! Write to us at hudterapeuten@lyko.com or via our skin test: lyko.com/sv/beauty-scan/hudtestet 💌 I hope my answer can be helpful and that you have a super nice Friday🌞

Updated Routine
Hi, I am following the routine below today and wondering how and where I can add this promising serum? My skin is extremely tolerant and never becomes sensitive no matter what I do with it. 🌞 Morning Routine (protection + pigment) 1. Cleansing 2. Mandelic Acid 5% Skin Prep Water 3. Vitamin C (Geek & Gorgeous C-Glow) 4. Eucerin Anti-Pigment (Thiamidol) 5. Lumene Vegan Collagen Essence or Arctic Berry Oil-Cocktail 6. Day cream with SPF (Lumene Glow SPF30 or Cica Regen Sun) 7. NeoStrata Triple Firming Neck Cream (neck/decolletage, follow up with SPF) 🌙 Evening Routine: 1. Cleansing 2. Eucerin Anti-Pigment (Thiamidol) 3. Dr. Ceuracle Retinoid Ampoule 4. Lumene Anti-Wrinkle & Dark Spot Night Serum 5. Lumene Ajaton Night Cream 6. Lumene oil (Berry Oil or Pre-Retinol Oil) as needed 7. NeoStrata Triple Firming Neck Cream (neck/decolletage945 views- Farmaceut på Lyko1 weekHey Dojjan😊 Thanks for your question✨ This is how you can add The Ordinary GF 15% Solution to your evening routine🌛 Apply it after Thiamidol and before the retinoid, so the order will be: 1. Cleansing 2. Thiamidol 3. GF 15% Solution 4. Retinoid (Dr. Ceuracle) 5. Serum + night cream + oil ➡️ The GF serum is water-based and works best on clean skin, before heavier products. ⚠️ Avoid combining it directly with strong acids or Vitamin C – preferably not in the morning together with Mandelic + C-Glow. If it becomes too much with your retinoid, skip it and use different evenings depending on tolerance. So great that you haven't experienced any sensitivities in your skin so far and that you've found a routine that feels good for your skin barrier. Hope this answer can be helpful and that you have a super nice Friday🌞

Very good for the money
Good serum at an incredibly good price! Works well to reduce the visibility of sun damage and fine lines. I'm not super fond of the packaging, I like a bit more glam, but you can't deny that this is a crazy amount of product for the money. You could probably find a slightly better serum, but they will all cost at least double, so this is a great product on a budget. When
My routine during the day after washing is hydrating toner, niacinamide, multipeptide eye serum, caffeine solution eye serum, uinik (?) hydrating serum, and cicaplast. + spf cicaplast. Are these serums excessive in daily skincare? If not, why is this complementary? And when in the skincare routine should it be applied? In the evening I use a regular evening toner, multipeptide eye serum, caffeine solution eye serum, Seoul retinal eye cream, uinik hydrating serum, cicaplast. Once a week I use clearskin collagen mask, once a week I apply a thin layer of tretinoin from dermatica, 2 times/week I do slugging with aquaphor. Besides these days, it’s my regular evening skincare routine. Is this serum excessive even in my evening routine? If not, how and when should I use it?693 views- Farmaceut på Lyko1 weekHey Julia😊 Thanks for your question✨ This serum is not necessary – but a good complement as you mentioned if you want to work more on firmness, skin repair, and anti-aging. 🕒 Here are suggestions on when and how to use it based on how your routine looks today: In the evening 🌛 – best option: ✔ After toner, before moisture serum and cream ✔ Use on evenings without tretinoin ✔ Avoid combining with too many actives the same evening During the day 🌞 – possible, but not necessary: ✔ After toner, before niacinamide and eye serum ✔ Skip if your skin feels saturated or sticky Hope the answer can be helpful and that you have a super nice weekend🌻

Question
I have these products from TO; Niacinamide + zinc Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 Granactive Retinol 5% in squalane AHA 30% + BHA 2% Cleanser, day with SPF/night cream from another brand. Some dry skin with early signs of aging. Can this serum be added, and how do I set up a good morning and evening routine?610 views- Farmaceut på Lyko1 weekHi Madde😊 Thank you for your question✨ Yes, it can be a good addition to the routine for firmness and signs of aging, but also think about not overloading the skin with too many actives at the same time. Suggestions for your routine: Morning🌞 1.Cleansing 2.Hyaluronic acid serum 3.Niacinamide + zinc 4.GF serum 5.Moisturizer + SPF Evening🌛 On regular evenings, you can try: cleansing, hyaluronic acid or niacinamide, GF serum, moisturizer. NOTE! On evenings with retinol or strong acids: skip the GF serum! Tips: Start with GF 2-3 times a week and increase if the skin tolerates it Use SPF carefully Avoid combining too many actives on the same day/evening to reduce irritation Hope this answers your question and that you have a really lovely Friday🌻

The OrdinaryGF Solution 15% Serum 30 ml
GF 15% Solution helps minimize and repair visible skin damage to regenerate the appearance of aging skin across the face and neck. This growth factor serum incorporates three technologies to target:
Fine lines and wrinkles: GF 15% Solution helps to regenerate the look of skin by reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, including crow’s feet, forehead lines, and smile lines.
Loss of skin firmness: GF 15% Solution firms the face and neck, and the jawline looks more lifted and defined.
Loss of elasticity: GF 15% Solution helps to promote skin elasticity to reduce the look of lax skin.
Rough Texture: GF 15% Solution helps to retexturize rough skin to make skin look smoother and more even.
Dull Skin Tone: GF 15% Solution promotes radiance, leaving skin looking more luminous
Additionally, GF 15% Solution also supports skin hydration and strengthens the skin barrier after one application for a more healthy-looking appearance.
Skin naturally contains different types of growth factors, including EGF, IGF, and TGF. Growth factors for skin work to signal it’s natural repair mechanisms. Over time and with age, skin’s natural levels of growth factors declines, contributing to the appearance of visible signs of aging. GF 15% Solution contains a 15% solution of plant-based biomimetic EGF, TGF, and IGF peptides. These offer a triple-action approach for short, mid and long-term skin renewal benefits.
A complex of IGF helps to regenerate the appearance of skin by helping support skin density and minimise visible wrinkles.
An EGF complex helps to support skin’s natural elastin and process of skin renewal, to target the appearance of aging factors like wrinkles, while promoting elasticity and firmness.
A solution of TGF improves skin’s integrity by supporting natural collagen to minimize visible lines and wrinkles, while promoting skin firmness and elasticity and smoothing skin texture.
Use:
Apply a few drops to the face in the morning and evening.
