BOTOX IN A BOTTLE?! 💉💌🧴
As a #LYKOINFLUTESTER, I had the honor of testing this serum from #THEORDINARY. A serum for EVERYONE over 25+. It promises magic for sagging and “dull” (gray/matte) skin - and actually lives up to all my expectations! 🧴 MY SKIN TYPE I have a normal-dry skin type that can easily become clogged with too rich products, for example. I have some enlarged pores on my cheeks and nose. When exposed to too strong fragrances, my skin can react and become red and inflamed. I have some pale scars from acne on one cheek and finally some fine lines (32 years). 🧴 FRAGRANCE/TEXTURE Fragrance: The serum has no particular scent. Texture: Very thin serum that really sinks into the skin, but leaves an incredibly beautiful glow. Despite the thin consistency, the serum hydrates and repairs my skin overnight! 🧴 RESULTS Got my glow back in my skin because of this serum! I wake up every morning with hydrated, calm, and “plump” skin. I think the serum has had an extreme effect on dry lines! I thought I was starting to get deeper lines until I realized I was very dry after winter. A few nights with this, and now my lines are gone! I feel more balanced in my skin overall since I introduced this into my routine. My skin type is combination - according to my experience with fine lines and pores. Incredibly good serum I felt after a month of use 😍 Fragrance-free, easy to apply, absorbs quickly into the skin. The serum gave my skin radiance, my skin feels hydrated, the fine lines have started to disappear, and the pores feel less clogged and not as large as before. Good price is also a bonus. 😍 The bottle is incredibly nice and easy to use. 4 to 5 drops are enough for the whole face and neck. A pretty okay serum
I have tested this serum from #TheOrdinary now for a little month. The impression I’m left with is that it’s a nice serum, but I didn’t experience any major changes in my skin. My skin is combination to dry. But not sensitive. The packaging of the serum is sleek, classic, and pretty, and the glass bottle gives it a slightly more exclusive experience. The dosing pipette is super and makes dosing and application easy. The product itself is light and liquid. It absorbs well into the skin and leaves a nice glow that lasts most of the day. A little brief info about me & my skin: I am 31 years old and have a so-called “fine combination skin” – meaning small pores, but with a tendency for a shiny nose and chin. I have a few blackheads, get the occasional pimple here and there, and I am also dry in certain areas, especially in winter. The skin often feels normal on the cheeks but has some unevenness in texture and small superficial lines that are starting to sneak in, especially on the forehead and around the eyes. When I started using this serum, I had some inflamed pimples and felt that my skin looked a bit tired and dull. Good serum with growth factors against aging
My skin: 30 years, very dry, dull, not sensitive I have been using GF 15% Solution from The Ordinary for a month, and I like the concept of growth factor-based skincare. Growth factors like EGF, IGF, and TGF are naturally found in our skin but decrease with age, and this serum is supposed to help "reboot" the skin's repair processes. It promises to improve fine lines, firmness, elasticity, and glow – basically everything I want to prevent in the long run. The consistency is very thin, almost like water – personally, I wish it were a bit thicker, as I am used to the retinol serum from The Ordinary, which is more like an oil and provides moisture that lasts until the next day. After applying this, I am dry again on my skin after seconds. Whether it still improves the skin's overall moisture could be true, I am definitely not as dry in the morning as if I hadn't put anything on. At first, I used the pipette directly on my skin (which one shouldn't really do to avoid irritation and bacteria), but fortunately, I noticed no negative reaction. I apply the serum after primer and the Peptide+HA serum from The Ordinary, and before moisturizer with SPF. The pipette makes it easy to control the amount, which I really like. As for results: I do not experience the moisture and glow that are supposed to come, but my skin is so dry that it needs oils and thick creams to achieve that. I also haven't seen any changes in the small signs of aging I have, but I suspect that this only comes when you are a bit older and possibly see if you have held up well? 😄 I also don't know if growth factors like this will be more, less, or equally effective as retinol and vitamin C, which is what I have used the most. A decent serum!
I have tested The Ordinary GF Solution 15% Serum, and I think the product is decent! I was surprised that the serum was so thin, but it’s easy to spread the product on the face and it absorbs quickly. This, combined with The Ordinary's HA serum, has given my skin a hydrated feel with a nice glow! The product contains "growth factors" ingredients that are supposed to support the skin's repair process and elasticity. I haven't noticed much difference in fine lines yet, but I also haven't used it more than 2 evenings a week, as I have incorporated the product into my skincare routine with, among other things, retinol (which should not be combined with this). Fantastic serum for the evening routine✨
As a #LYKOINFLUTESTER, I have tested 3 skincare products from #THEORDINARY, and this serum is one of those products. A little brief info about me & my skin| Age: 30 years. Occasionally sensitive and can easily become red from time to time (which usually goes away quickly), combination skin type, so both dry but can also become slightly oily in the T-zone. Right at the start of the test, I had reacted to some product and had some stress breakouts as well. Consistency| extremely runny consistency that flows easily and is absolutely lovely to use on both face and neck😍 I recommend either taking a drop in your hand directly for application on areas of the face & neck or alternatively, as I did, holding and catching the drop from the pipette on the areas, I found that convenient, and the product glides and absorbs perfectly into the skin. Scent| no direct scent, absolutely nothing strong or unpleasant, so I would say it even suits those sensitive to scents👌 Packaging| Glass bottle (dark and shiny glass) with a glass pipette that has plastic as a “cap” and a rubber top that easily pumps the product into the pipette☺️👌 Fantastic serum that makes me feel that my skin feels restored, firm, gives radiance, and my skin feels softer, it has felt so incredibly good to have in my evening routine as I used the other serum that was included in the test in the morning☺️ It has also worked well with the rest of my routine, and I will continue to use it in my routine, so I have gained a new regular😍✨ And together with the other serum, I have found it to be a perfect combo for my skin and really strengthened my skin and given me what I expected and wanted it to give. Haven't met my expectations
I've been using serums for many years and have tried quite a few, including many from one of my favorite brands - The Ordinary. However, the GF 15% Solution unfortunately didn’t meet my expectations. Despite its impressive ingredient list and the promise of targeting multiple signs of aging, I didn’t notice any visible improvement in my skin during the time I used it. The texture was also a letdown for me — it's very watery, which made it hard to apply evenly, and it left my skin feeling a bit sticky afterward. For a product that supports hydration and natural barrier, I expected a smoother, more pleasant finish. While it may work for others, especially those new to growth factor serums, it simply didn’t deliver the results I was hoping for. Good container with easy dosing
As a Lykoinflutester, I have had the opportunity to test products from The Ordinary. For me, this is new products to use, which is always fun. I usually have a slightly combination skin. It is dry in some places and a bit oilier on the forehead and nose. Now during the spring, the skin is of course affected, and the oilier areas can feel a bit extra oily when you are in the sun and get warm. I have tested the GF Solution 15% Serum. I don't use serums that much, so it's a bit hard to compare with other products in the same category. For me, this was a product that I felt was different from previous serums I have tested from the same brand. The biggest difference was that this serum felt much runnier. It is supposed to help with fine lines, but I can't say that I've noticed any difference during the time I've tested the product. Maybe it needs more time for there to be a noticeable difference, or maybe I just don't have enough visible fine lines yet to notice them. Just have to keep testing. Plus is that it quickly absorbs into the skin when you use the product thanks to the consistency. It comes in a good container with easy dosing. Easy to get the desired amount of product directly.
