THIS FOAM GIVES MY HAIR A SECOND LIFE! ✨💖
For years, I dreamed of lush, voluminous hair, but the reality? 😭 My hair is thin, delicate, and always flat. Just a few hours after washing, it loses any shape, and the lift from the roots? Something that lasted maybe 10 minutes before I went back to the effect of "stuck-to-my-head strands". I tried everything – from teasing (which ended up with tangled, broken hair), to hairsprays (stiff shell, zero naturalness), to various foams (that weighed down and made my hair look greasy). Nothing worked... until now! This foam is the first foam that really works on my hair! 😍 💨 How do I use it? 💨 After washing my hair, I gently towel-dry it, apply a small amount of foam (seriously, you don’t need much!) to damp hair, focusing on the roots. Then I grab a round brush and a hairdryer... and BOOM! My hair has volume, as if it just came from the hands of the best stylist! 💣💥 ✨ EFFECT? ✨ My hair is fluffy, full of life, has bounce, and looks much thicker. And the best part? Still no Wow
My hair is long, a good bit below the armpit, with many fine strands. It’s a bit slick and has a mind of its own 😃. I was recommended this to get some texture/grip in my hair. The last time I wrote a review, Lyko replied that I had been too stingy with the amount. I had used a couple of pumps, as stated, but was advised to use 3-4 pumps/strands. So I gave this a second chance and was very generous with the amount. I scrunched the mousse in from the roots and out to the lengths all over my hair. Then I blow-dried my hair upside down until it was half dry, then I switched to a round brush. A little, with emphasis on a little, texture I get in my hair, but it’s not much. My hair simply needs "more" for anything to happen. I get more effect from Antonio Axu’s root lift spray. The mousse is quite light in consistency, and even though it’s a bit sticky, it’s not sufficient. I think it’s too light for my long hair. Because even though my hair isn’t thick, it gets heavy because it’s so long. So nah, this isn’t for me and nothing I would buy again. It shouldn't feel heavy or sticky, but give a light lift – perfect if you want airy hair without extra weight. I understand that your long hair might need a bit more "support" for maximum effect. You can complement it with a root lift spray or another styling product that provides more grip and texture at the roots. Pretty okay.
I'm not super knowledgeable about mousse and volume, but I'm trying things out. I would say it's pretty okay and feels light in the hair. Not a miracle directly, and my hair that gets greasy quickly can only be happy about this for one evening, therefore not worth the money. Bought multiple times!
This is really good and gives volume and a bit of texture without feeling like you've used product in your hair. I haven't found anyone that doesn't make my hair greasy or rough before this, so it's something I really like about this product. No Wow at all..
Hyped product so I thought it would lift my flat hair more than my usual sea salt spray that I use otherwise, but this product was almost completely ineffective. I barely got noticeable volume in my hair even though I tested it 2 times and the second time with more product in my hair. Save your money and buy another product instead of my advice. No effect
Unfortunately, I see no difference. I have very thin, fine/flat hair and long hair (down to my stomach). I had hoped this would give some volume, but unfortunately no difference. I felt my hair got greasy quickly, which is a big downside for me. I had high hopes, so this was disappointing. It's possible I'm using it wrong, but I followed the instructions. It takes some getting used to with the volume foam, what I like to do with this is to apply it to the hair when it's towel-dried, and then I blow-dry it 80% dry upside down so you can lift the hair from the roots. Then I go in with the airwrap and pin the curls with clips, cooling the hair down. This way, I get a nice lifted effect without feeling like I have product in my hair. However, the heat protection is consumed after use. So if you have blow-dried your hair with Bombshell Volumizer, the protection is used in that process.
