Moisturizing and calming
This is a lightweight and oil-free moisturizer which is great for dehydrated and acne-prone skin. It smells like birch sap (reminds me of tea tree oil). 💧🌿 A light moisturizer that's perfect when you don't want to feel sticky!
I've really gotten hooked on COSRX Oil Free Ultra Moisturizing Lotion! This is the kind of moisturizer I find perfect when I want plenty of hydration but still a light and fresh feeling on the skin. 🥹🤍 The first thing I like is the texture. It has a light gel-lotion feel that feels cooling when I apply it and absorbs quickly. It's exactly the type of cream I like in the morning, especially under makeup. Lyko describes it as an oil-free, silky lotion that quickly sinks in and soothes and hydrates the skin. I especially think it suits when the skin feels dry but also easily gets oily. It provides moisture without that heavy, greasy feeling that some richer creams can give. 🤍 One of the main ingredients is birch sap, which is used for its soothing and moisturizing properties. The formula is also oil-free and designed to work on multiple skin types, including sensitive skin. And under makeup, I really like it. Several Lyko users describe that it sinks in quickly and works well under makeup. One user has even used it as their favorite cream for several years. I also like the pump bottle. 😂 It's a small detail, but it makes the morning routine much smoother, and I easily get the right amount out. 100 ml is also a good size, and it feels quite economical since you don't need to use a lot each time. But here comes my only real objection: if the skin is very dry, especially in winter, it can be a bit too light as the only cream. Several Lyko reviews mention that it doesn't provide enough moisture during colder months. Then I would layer a richer cream on top. And the scent is a bit special.
