    Best toning!

I bleach my roots about 4 times a year and the result is always yellow of course, like after most bleaching. So I always use this toning afterwards. I have also tried icy icy blondy from take away color, that works fine too, but I probably like this one better. This toning magically removes the yellow, like magic. I love this toning. Especially the treatment that comes with it, smells divine and the toning itself is so easy to work with. Always super satisfied!

    Sustainability

Hi. I don't know if I did something wrong, but this only lasted about 3 washes? I let it sit as long as it said in the instructions. I have completely uncolored hair. A few gray hair strands.

    Dry or wet hair?

Should toning always be done on wet hair? It doesn't say anywhere in the manual, jætteknæppt.

Hey Liza! 👋🏼 A toner can be used on both damp hair and dry hair 🤍 For the best results, do it like this with Loreal Paris Casting Crème Gloss 🤩 Wash your hair two days before (preferably use no styling products or dry shampoo), before you start toning, moisten your hair again (you can use a spray bottle with water or wet your hair with the shower hose and towel dry thoroughly) 🚿🤗 Good luck and take care 🤠

    500 Light Brown

Does the shade 500 Light Brown have any green or blue undertones? Or does it have a warm undertone?

Hey Janie!🥰 The shade 500 Light Brown in L'Oréal Casting Crème Gloss is warm and golden, without green or blue undertones. It gives a nice, natural color with extra shine and care for the hair. Perfect if you want a warm and pretty shade! 💛 Take care!

    Dissatisfied

I am unfortunately very dissatisfied with this purchase, bought two packs of the color vanilla mocha 618 as I wanted to try becoming a brunette, but not with a permanent hair dye. Two packs were just right for my thick hair that goes down to my bust. On my completely uncolored, quite light hair, the dye did not take well at all. I ended up with a very dark root and an uneven result unfortunately. Not recommended

Hey Alicia 😊 But oh how sad to hear that you weren't satisfied with your Vanilla Mocha! 💔 We really understand the feeling when the color doesn't quite deliver what you hoped for – especially when stepping outside your comfort zone to try something new. Toners can sometimes behave a bit tricky depending on hair type, previous dye jobs, and how the hair takes pigment. I want to recommend our hair color test so they can guide you completely based on your preferences 👉🏻 lyko.com/sv/beauty-scan/harfargstestet Take care! 🌞

    Hair Color

Hey, I'm eager to dye my hair medium/dark brown again but I'm not really sure which color to choose, I'm considering ordering Casting Creme Gloss 400 Brown but I'm very afraid it will leave red tones in my hair. I want a cool brown color that doesn't turn orange/red-toned after a while. My natural hair color is a very cool light brown/dark blonde color. Is there any other hair color you recommend or should I go with this one? Does it have red tones in it, etc.?

It's also good to maintain cool tones with metal removers and color glosses! For example Loreal Metal DX and Fanola No Orange

    Comparison

Is this one comparable to Schwarzkopf Professional Igora Vibrance Tone on Tone Coloration, or is this one stronger/more permanent? I usually use Igora Vibrance or Four Reasons Take Away Color, but they don't last that long - at the same time, I don't want permanent color = roots. Which shades of this are in that case most similar to Four Reasons Take Away Color Espresso or Chocolate Chip?

Hey Jenny! 👋🏼 Casting Crème Gloss is an intensive tint that lasts a bit longer than, for example, Four Reasons Take Away Color, but it is still not a permanent color. However, it can give a slightly clearer regrowth compared to "lighter" tints, so it's good to keep that in mind 🤗 If you want a shade that resembles Espresso or Chocolate Chip, then 4102 Cool Chestnut is an option, it has a nice cool undertone and similar depth. But if you want an even more salon-like result with shine, tone-on-tone effect, and maximum control over how the color fades, I recommend the ones you have used before 💇🏻‍♀️✨ Have a nice day 🌻

    Fin!!

I bought this today and I am sooooo satisfied🖤 I wanted to go back to black, but not black black (then it’s blue-black), but this one was just so beautiful! The prettiest color I have used. The only downside is that it washes out so quickly in the wash, becomes very too pale. But I’d rather use a little extra care and color more often, because the color is so pretty🫶 Another plus: SO gentle on the scalp! I have very sensitive skin, but I feel absolutely nothing with these colors. It doesn’t smell strong either. I’ve been using this color series for 5 years and will never use ammonia colors again. It’s hard to get a picture of my own hair, but the hair becomes so shiny from these colors.

    Hair Color

Hey! What's best, this toner or permanent? No gray hairs, but if you choose this, do you need to dye the roots/hair more often than with permanent color? Is it best to maybe start with permanent and then maintain the roots with toner? I'm pretty set on keeping the same color and I also have hair extensions 🌸

Hey! 🌼 Casting Crème Gloss 200 Ebony Black, it’s really a nice and shiny toner! 😍 The benefits of toning are that they are gentler on the hair, they give a natural, shiny color, and it gradually washes out after about 6-8 weeks. 😊 Perfect if you want to try the color before you fully commit. Since you don’t have any gray strands and want to stick to the same color, it’s definitely an option to start with toning – especially since it’s milder for the hair and also for hair extensions. (regardless of whether you choose toning or permanent color – make sure you don’t dye the extensions themselves) It’s also a great way to see how the color suits your hair and style 💁🏻‍♀️ A permanent color does last longer and fades rather than washes out, but it requires maintenance of the roots after a few weeks. But a good choice if you already know you want to keep the color for a long time 😊 Since you’re already quite set on keeping the color, you can always start with Casting Crème Gloss to get a feel for the shade and how it looks on you. If you love the result, you can switch to permanent color at your next coloring 😍 A hot tip is to incorporate a toner for shine and refreshment 🥰 Shout if you want product suggestions or tips for color protection and maintenance! 🌟

Loreal Paris Casting Crème gloss 834

New formula 834 Amber Blonde is sharper in the color copper red than the previous 834 Caramel blonde, which was a really nice and realistic copper red color and not as sharp in the red color as 834 Amber blonde. It's a shame they changed the formula, we redheads have a hard time finding a red color that doesn't become too sharp.

I agree.Warning everyone! 834 Amber blonde is a darker red shade, not the same warm lighter warm tone as 834 Caramel blonde. Super sad, now I have to find another brand that resembles Caramel blonde. Thanks and goodbye Loreal.
