I've had the honor of testing this shampoo for a few weeks & I have to say I'm impressed! I used to think that hair care somehow has to be a bit more expensive to actually be effective, but I was proven wrong! I normally have very dry, damaged hair that needs a lot of moisture. Therefore, I think this series suited my hair well.💙 The scent of this shampoo is fresh and smells just right. I got to try this shampoo from #lumene. (My #lykoinflutester reviews are as honest as the reviews I write about products I have paid for.) My first impression was that the bottle is very soft, which is good for those who can't squeeze too hard without hurting themselves. The bottle also has a nice color and is fairly well designed (not too sticky but not too plain either). I was pleasantly surprised to see Sodium Laureth Sulfate on the ingredient list since the brand seems to be somewhat on the "clean beauty" track with the rest of the series. I expected sarcosinates, glucosides, or other surfactants commonly found in "clean beauty" products. But very nice to see an effective sulfate instead.. thumbs up for that (sulfates are not bad). The shampoo itself has a rather mild scent. It smells like a lemon-scented cleaning product or throat lozenge.. I don't like that. I don't understand why brands (especially Nordic ones) are obsessed with citrus, grass, and "clean" scents?! Fruity, tropical scents are so much better! A nice floral scent or mint can also be pleasant if not too intense. The shampoo lathers well and is easy to spread along the scalp. It cleans well too. I probably would have used up the bottle if it weren't for the itching I got after a few washes. The itching went away when I went back to my usual shampoo. I have no known scalp conditions.. maybe a little sensitive and dry, but that's about it. Still, it caused itching. So maybe not the best shampoo for those who are more sensitive. Rating: 2-2.5 out of 5 I would have almost given it a 3 if it weren't for the itching and the scent. Pleasant scent and mild product but watery/not concentrated
My first reaction was that the scent is very pleasant and fresh, but that it was very watery/thin/runny. Not very concentrated. It definitely requires double shampooing; I have shampooed with this product every time until I felt my hair was clean. That said, quite a lot of product is used since it’s not very concentrated. After washing, the hair feels airy and light, even though I have used the whole series (Shampoo, treatment, and conditioner – I’ve also tried using the treatment as a leave-in, which I can recommend), the hair doesn’t feel weighed down at all, which I find very positive – especially since my scalp tends to get oily quite quickly. I don’t understand why the conditioner has a pump but the shampoo doesn’t. I often have problems with my scalp and can easily get flakes and sometimes even sores. Trying new products like these can be difficult, but the product felt mild and pleasant; I don’t feel my problems have gotten 'worse' from trying it, but neither have they improved. My hair type is thin strands, quite thin hair, bleached and therefore dry ends but prone to oily roots. I think it has an OK price for a good product, but since it’s not concentrated at all, that lowers my rating. Good shampoo for everyday use
Product received as part of #lykoinflutester #lumene product testing The shampoo has a pleasant scent and feels nice to use. It spreads well in the hair and foams a bit, so it’s also easy to wash out. The shampoo doesn’t weigh the hair down; I have a lot of hair, but it’s relatively fine and straight, and the hair stays airy and moisturized with the shampoo. The only negative thing I’ve noticed is that the interval between washes has shortened by about 2 days, whereas with previous products it was 3-4 days. Of course, many other factors can influence this, but the only clear changed factor has been the shampoo. As a #lykoinflutester, I have been using this shampoo along with the rest of the series for a while now and I have to say the shampoo does its job! My hair is typically Scandinavian, I bleach it and have many thin strands that require moisture. The shampoo actually provides a gentle cleansing that suits my hair type really well, but if I have a lot of products in my hair beforehand, it feels like the shampoo doesn’t quite get the job done, meaning it’s a bit too gentle even though I double shampoo 💦 I love the pleasant citrus scent that doesn’t overpower or feel too much at all, I really like the design of all three bottles in the series, the bottle is easy to open and close. Sometimes it’s easy to get too much product out 😮💨 so you have to be careful! Moisturizes well
The first impression was quite neutral, but with use, this pleasantly surprised me. I have a dry and sensitive scalp, so I pay special attention to whether shampoos dry out the scalp more or help keep it balanced. The shampoo foams quite moderately on the first wash, but clearly better on the second wash. If you use a bit more product, it foams well even on the first wash. It cleans the hair well but still feels moisturizing, which is important to me. The shampoo is practically fragrance-free, which is a big plus since fragrance would worsen dryness. This does exactly what it promises: cleans well, moisturizes, and is gentle on dry scalp. I will definitely buy this myself in the future. Really moisturizing!
My experience✨ My first impression of the shampoo was quite neutral, a completely ordinary, sleek Lumene bottle that feels handy in the hand. Even though I like the pump on the conditioner, it had a convenient cap that is easy to open. The scent is really fresh and pleasant without being too strong. When I washed my hair, I was a bit hesitant at first because I missed that feeling of the hair becoming squeaky clean right when it’s wet. It was hard to tell in the shower if the shampoo had actually done its job. But considering the price, it’s still a very good product that delivers on what it promises. About me👱♀️ A bit about my hair: I have some natural waves and since it’s bleached, it gets dry quickly and needs lots of moisture. I usually blow-dry my hair and therefore put a lot of emphasis on the ends not becoming too rough. Result Here I was actually genuinely positively surprised. I didn’t have very high expectations, often use the RedKen All Soft series, and didn’t think I would get a better result than that. I think this shampoo made my hair softer than I’m used to. The bleached, dry hair felt immediately moisturized and very smooth. The only thing that lowers the rating for me personally is that I didn’t get the volume I want. The hair became a bit too flat and volume-less for my taste. Considering the price, I was really surprised!! I probably won’t buy it again just because I personally prioritize volume and that super clean feeling in the shower, but if you need moisture at a good price, it’s really a top choice. Heavenly scented shampoo 🍋
I got this Lumene moisturizing shampoo from Lyko to test, and it definitely became one of my favorites! I really like the product’s simple appearance because it immediately tells you what kind of product it is. I also really liked the bottle’s cap mechanism. The shampoo was easy to use even with wet hands since you just press the cap and it opens. The shampoo itself was very pleasant to use and will definitely remain part of my routine! I have thick and quite dry hair, and after washing with this shampoo, it felt wonderfully airy and clean. The best part of the shampoo, however, was its scent. The scent is really pleasant, neutral, and fresh, maybe a bit citrusy. A scent I believe suits many noses. The fresh scent also stayed in my hair for a few days, which I really liked. I definitely recommend trying this shampoo if you want moisture for your hair and a wonderfully clean feeling after washing! A very concentrated shampoo that has a fresh and nice scent. Very nice shampoo
As an #lykoinflutester I got the chance to try the Hydra Moisture Shampoo by #lumene and I was positively surprised. To start with I liked the blue package that gives sea vibes. The scent is heavenly, exactly my type of scent. It's a mild, summery lemon scent. It's not strong and doesn't stay on the hair which i see as a positive thing, especially for people who cannot tolerate strong smells. I have dry scalp, dry ends and my hair normally get oily around the third day after shampooing. Hydra Moisture Shampoo didn't affect my dry scalp either way. My hair got very soft and didn't get oily until the third day after shampooing. All in alI, i am very satisfied with the shampoo and i would totally buy it and use it weekly.110 views
