MádaraTime Miracle Botanic Retinol Serum 30 ml
Supercharged with a plant-based 4% retinol alternative complex, this groundbreaking serum targets signs of aging just as powerfully as synthetic retinol — yet without any accompanying irritation and dryness.
Helps encourage collagen production to restore elasticity, improve firmness and minimise the look of fine lines for visibly smoother, firmer skin. Rejuvenating northern birch water supports skin’s repair and renewal processes whilst hyaluronic acid deeply replenishes moisture.
Helps balance acne-prone complexions, addresses hyperpigmentation and blemishes to improve skin texture and tone.
Formulated for all skin types, gentle enough for sensitive skin. Dermatologically tested.

Madaras retinol serum ticks all the boxes for me, for a perfect retinol serum. Madara is a Latvian brand and I have a preference for the locally sourced, the Nordic, and the smaller businesses over the large international ones. Madara also aims to do something. I recommend those interested in such to visit their website. There you can read that Madara contributes to women and children who are exposed to violence in close relationships and trafficking, receiving a cash contribution for a psychologist. They also contribute to supporting those affected by breast cancer. So good! Otherwise, I can read that Madara has a strong focus on its ingredients, on the environment, and decent wages for its workers. So! I am impressed! But to the serum itself. The packaging is delicate. The serum smells good. It feels good on and absorbs quickly into the skin, maybe in 2 to 5 minutes. The serum is not among the cheapest, but you don’t need much product, so it will last a long time. I have mature skin, which is both dry and oily. My skin is also a bit sensitive. Now I have been using retinol for a decade, so I tolerate it well. But I suspect this one is mild enough for those who are not as experienced as well. It’s just about trying it out carefully. There’s nothing not to like. This is now my new retinol serum. I will take a closer look at Madara’s other products as well. Looking forward to it!10 likes751 views Sotnosen

I got this in Lyko Lovables Hello first class. I have used many different serums over the years and I thought this was just okay, but nothing revolutionary in any way 😜 For the price it’s sold for, I don’t think it’s worth it, there are budget alternatives that are at least as good. Very gentle just like it says in the description and a plus for the scent that I liked a lot, mild and fresh. #Lykoreview14 likes204 viewsCecilia
1 month agoIt's fun to read what you thought! I also got a tube of this in a box and loved it, and I will definitely buy the full size when I can afford it! I think that just like with retinol, it takes time before you see any results with bakuchiol, and since it is so nice and gentle, my dry skin likes it, which means a lot to me (though that doesn't mean it couldn't be cheaper, but Mádara is not a budget organic brand, directly. However, it tends to be very good, so I have to be satisfied with that).
