Melts makeup – doesn’t lock it in
Lovely glow, but not a super fixer This setting spray is more of a “finishes the look” type than a true makeup lock-in. It gives the skin a really nice glow and blends the makeup nicely together, making the result look more natural. But if you’re looking for strong hold and longevity, this isn’t the one to choose – it doesn’t really extend makeup wear that much. Plus points for hyaluronic acid, which adds moisture and makes the skin look fresh. Also, the large bottle and good spray nozzle are really big bonuses. The mist comes out evenly and not in clumps. Isadora glow setting spray
I ordered this IsaDora makeup setting spray to test, and I have to say, the first impression is really positive! The spray (mist) is wonderfully fine – it doesn’t splash big droplets on the face but settles on the skin like a soft mist. It blends powder products (like the new NYX blush! 😉) beautifully together and leaves a really fresh feeling. The makeup stays neat and in place all day without the skin feeling tight or dry. Wouldn't even give it a single star if I could
I really had high expectations for this setting spray, but this is without a doubt one of the worst I've tried. For the first 1–1.5 hours, it gives a really nice glow, but then everything goes downhill. After just a couple of hours, my face started feeling extremely dry. The makeup looked cakey and the setting spray began to flake off like powder all over my face. My skin became tight, dry, and looked significantly worse than before I even applied the product. I've never experienced a glow setting spray drying out my skin like this. For me, the result was unfortunately the exact opposite of what the product promises. This spray is designed to give a glow finish and can sometimes feel a bit sticky, especially if sprayed too close or before your skincare has fully absorbed 🤍 A couple of small tips that can make a big difference are to shake the bottle well before use, wait a few minutes after skincare or makeup, and spray from about 20–30 cm away. Feel free to try 2–3 light sprays in a cross pattern and then let the product dry for about 30–60 seconds without touching your face 😊 If you want to reduce the glow feeling or make your makeup feel a bit more set, it can also help to lightly powder the T-zone or dab the setting spray with a makeup sponge where you want extra hold ✨ If you prefer a more matte finish, there are also setting sprays with less glow, such as IsaDora The Matte Setting Spray or NYX Matte Finish Setting Spray 🥰 Hope some of these tips help! Very decent basic product 😍
This glow version suits my skin better than the matte one! The spray is finely atomized and easy to use, and it doesn't leave white spots like its matte sister can😅🤭 The makeup lasts well throughout the day, and the skin doesn't feel tight or like there's a "film" on the surface. Even the glow is noticeable 🤩 The spray isn't perfect, but I give it 4/5.
