Nordic color selection confuses
I own shade 02 (as far as I know the lightest sold in Finland) and 110 ordered from the USA. 02 is way too dark and orangey for me. 110 is much lighter and suits better. I am pale and my skin is neutral, so almost all supposedly light shades look like mustard on my face. I don’t understand why in the Nordic countries, where there are many pale people, too dark shades are sold 😒 The product works great. It contains a lot of pearlescent so it makes the skin look fresh and radiant. It may highlight pimples and wrinkles, so one option is to use this only on the cheekbones and use something matte elsewhere. It lasts well almost the whole day, but it cracks a little at the sides of the nose and around the mouth. If you find a good shade, then this is an amazing product! The bottle has a dropper, and it’s a bit tricky. The product spills over the edges of the bottle, and I feel like there’s more product outside the dropper than inside it. ✨ A skin tint I really understand the hype about!
I’ve really gotten hooked on Maybelline Superstay 24H Skin Tint! What I like most is that it manages to give the skin a more even and fresher appearance without feeling like a heavy foundation. 🤍 I think it feels very light on the skin, which is a big plus for me. I want to be able to look like I have a nice base without feeling the base all the time, and here I really think Maybelline succeeds. What I like most is the finish. The skin gets a nice, fresh glow and I think it looks more alive instead of completely matte and flat. At the same time, it evens out the skin tone and helps tone down redness and unevenness. ✨ I also think you can adjust how much you want. A thin layer gives a very natural result, but I can build up a bit where I want more coverage. That makes it very versatile – both when I just want a simple everyday base and when I want to do a slightly more polished makeup. One thing I really appreciate is how comfortable it feels after a few hours. I don’t think it just feels like a layer of foundation sitting on top of the skin, but more like it actually melts in and becomes part of the base. I also like that it gives that “my skin but better” feeling. 🥹🤍 That’s exactly the kind of base I often look for when I don’t want a super full coverage foundation. The dropper might not be my absolute favorite solution – I’d probably prefer a pump – but that’s really a small detail compared to how nice the product looks on the skin. For me, this is a real everyday favorite when I want a light feel, natural coverage, and a nice glow. Nice and long-lasting
At first, I thought this was a matte foundation, but it’s not. However, it’s drier than other serum foundations I’ve tried. This makes the product have a bit more coverage and last a bit longer. wrong color but wow!
so this skin tint is all you need if you’re running fast through life. Good product, bad packaging
This foundation was a positive surprise! Good, buildable coverage, easy to apply. It sits beautifully on the skin, and the result is nicely natural – neither matte nor too shiny. The staying power is also excellent for the price. The dropper bottle is, however, an incredibly bad solution; the foundation drips over the bottle neck and makes a mess. Best I've Tried!
I've tried probably 500 different foundations that are supposed to "last all day" but this one really does! I have combination skin and put on makeup at 5 in the morning, work in a factory, and when I get home it still looks just as good! Doesn't feel dry or oily after a whole day!
