    Hair is like new again! 🤗

    I’ve been on vacation in Italy and then France for a little over three weeks, and there’s been a lot of sun and swimming ☀️💦 The pool water tends to F🤬 up the hair quite a bit, and I wanted to avoid the beach hair look this year 😝 So after tips from the best Beatrice Datmo, I bought this. It was a good tip and a good choice 🤗 I’ve used it twice during these weeks, and my hair is like restored! I’ve also used protective products and hair masks, etc. But I’ve really noticed a difference after using this! 🥰 My hair gets a really nice shine, and I feel that my hair is regaining its shine and softness. This will now come with me on every overseas vacation 💦☀️🥰 #lykoreview

    Soft and Clean

    I have tried the Malibus swimmers detox satchet. I usually do deep cleansing of my hair now and then with Kevin Murphy's shampoo or mix in a bit of baking soda in my regular shampoo. The difference between a regular detox shampoo and this one is supposed to be that this is a more intensive treatment that is particularly good at lifting metals and chemicals that get stuck in hair strands from your shower water or when bathing in chlorinated water. I also tested the product with my shampoo and conditioner from XL and the mask from Loreal DX. These have been used a lot, so they work well to assess the effect of an “excellent” product. One package is enough for one treatment (I have long, thick hair) and consists of a bag with crystals/powder (see 🎥) that you pour into your hand after washing your hair with shampoo (I always shampoo twice). Then you drop water into your hand and mix/dissolve the crystals into a “paste” in your hand. After that, you apply the mixture to your hair and massage it in for up to five minutes. Rinse the hair thoroughly and follow up with a mask and conditioner. Honestly, I think the mixture itself, already in the hand, smells metallic. Maybe it’s something “like dissolves like” that makes it that there IS some metal in the mixture, who knows? That scent lingers in the hair until I apply serum and heat protection after the shower. To get it throughout the lengths and not just half on the scalp, I tilted my head up and down while distributing the mixture and kneading it into the hair. I kept it in for about 4 minutes and then rinsed it out. I felt that the hair didn’t feel as dry as after Kevin Murphy's detox shampoo. I was a bit afraid that it meant the hair didn’t get really clean, but it seems like it would. After I had the mask and conditioner in, I blow-dried my hair straight. I used Loreal DX leave-in product and sprayed with By Lyko Beat the heat (also well-used) and maybe didn’t notice much difference right when I dried my hair and put it up. I didn’t notice any difference in the hair's shade, but as I said, I use a lot of cleansing and also silver shampoo or pink shampoo, so the shade was nice already from before. But I went out to the club, and the next day I thought about how soft and supple the hair was. It felt soft and fresh. As a whole in some way. That feeling has since stuck around, and I interpret it as the hair relaxed after it dried and actually became softer from the treatment. So it did some good after all! I think that 70:- per treatment is quite steep, in the long run, but I will probably try it again in the fall #lykoreview

    How much should you use?

    I bought this for all the summer pool swims after Beatrice's great tips! 😍 However, it's a bit unclear in the description how much should be used. Is it the whole bag or a certain number of teaspoons, etc.?
