Perfect shine and soft curls without frizz ✨
I have curly hair that easily gets dry and frizzy, so I was super curious to try Matrix Glow Gatekeeper. Already after the first use, I noticed how my hair got a fantastic shine and felt much softer. The scent is fresh and salon-like, and the consistency is easy to work into the hair. I really like how my hair feels hydrated but still airy, and that the shine stays nice all day. The downside was that the bathroom floor got a bit slippery after using the spray. I had the opportunity to be #lykotestpilot for a few weeks for #matrix Glow Mania. I have porous, colored, and bleached hair that needs extra love before blow-drying. I didn’t think this was a wow product since Matrix has better leave-ins that I describe further down! Leave in: ✅Heat protection 230°C ✅Smells good, like Earl Grey tea approximately 🆗Hair can feel a bit greasy 🆗Pretty expensive but a totally okay economical product ❌Not much shine ❌I have tested both this “Glow mania leave in” and “Matrix miracle creator total results” (Lyko article 1008-264-0190) Glow mania focuses solely on shine, color retention, and heat protection up to 230°C. Miracle Creator has the same properties plus for example faster blow-drying, frizz control, moisture protection, etc. for a cheaper price (and smells better). Glow mania is also developed for use in wet hair while MC can be used in both wet and dry hair. It feels like this product is mostly developed to complement the line even though they have a better and cheaper product that does exactly the same and a bit more, therefore I would skip this leave-in and buy Matrix miracle creator (article 1008-264-0190) instead, it’s awesome🏆 I have attached a picture with MC properties💪🏼672 views - The post was made 4 monthsRating: 4 out of 5
Fresh Scent
I had the opportunity to be #lykotestpilot at #matrix new series #glowmania and I am totally okay satisfied. All the products in the series have a very fresh scent that can feel a bit sharp at first before you get used to it. This leave-in spray is sprayed on wet hair before you brush it out, the spray really makes it easy to detangle the hair without any knots that can drive you crazy. The spray also gives a nice shine to the hair, though I do feel that the hair can feel greasy relatively quickly after washing, maybe it depends on how much product you use or if it just doesn't suit my hair. Positively Surprised
I have tested the entire series from Matrix Glow Mania: shampoo, conditioner, and leave-in spray for a couple of weeks. Already after the first wash, my hair felt cleaner and lighter, but at the same time very soft. The shampoo lathers just the right amount and feels gentle, yet effective. The conditioner has a slightly creamier consistency and made it super easy to detangle my hair without it feeling heavy or flat. The leave-in spray (Glow Gatekeeper) quickly became my favorite! It gives a nice shine and also works as heat protection. The scent is sweet and a bit luxurious, I love it! I also noticed that my hair color looked clearer and fresher for longer, especially the ends that usually become dull between dyeing. My hair feels manageable and shiny without getting greasy quickly. Pros + Gives nice shine and softness without weighing down. + Smells salon-fresh and luxurious. + Hair feels light and airy after washing. + The leave-in spray contains heat protection. Best in the series
I have now been a test pilot for the Matrix color mania series for a few weeks 🤩 The red bottles are nice and stand firmly on their caps, they have a simple but good design. The first thing that struck me when using it was that they smelled really good, I have a hard time putting my finger on exactly what they smelled like, but a bit of grapefruit, fresh and not too sweet. 😍 Unfortunately, I didn't get any WOW feeling from this series, it didn't do much for my hair. Maybe it just didn't suit my hair type. I have thin, somewhat dry hair that needs more moisture and repair. I don't know if it was the leave-in spray or the other products that made my hair a bit greasy. Did not live up to expectations!!
As #lykotestpilot, I have tested this leave-in for a few weeks. My hair is colored, thick but with fine strands, a scalp that quickly gets oily, and ends that are a bit damaged. The spray function of the packaging is convenient and the scent is fresh and just strong enough 🍋 Ohhh, I had higher expectations for this! I like that it makes my hair soft and easy to comb. It feels like the heat protection is doing its job since I didn’t notice extra wear after blow-drying or styling 🔥 BUT I don’t see any extra shine effect, which I really hoped for! + Makes hair soft and easy to comb + Protects well against heat and styling - Did not provide the promised shine or extra luster A good alternative for softness and protection, but really lacks that wow-glow. I got to test the Matrix Glow series with shampoo, conditioner, and leave-in for a few weeks – and wow! ✨ Leave in conditioner is not so thick in consistency but feels quite fresh. Valuable & gives shiny lengths
Great value pack that lasts a long time. Not as thick in consistency as many similar products. The spray distributes nicely in the hair. Smells fresh of citrus, but has a hint of Earl Grey tea which unfortunately isn't a favorite of mine. The product absolutely lives up to what is promised, the hair becomes silky and shiny ✨ Works well to apply on both damp & dry hair. Leaves no sticky residue on the hair. A big plus that it also works as heat protection. Normally, I would use a bit of hair oil on the ends/lengths after washing. But that's not needed now, the hair becomes soft and rehydrated by this spray instead. A new favorite 😻
As a test pilot, I have now used Matrix Glow Mania Glow Gatekeeper Glow Sealing Leave In Conditioner after every wash on towel-dried hair for a couple of weeks, and this is my impression after repeated uses. 🫧 A bit about my hair: straight and quite fine, bleached, and the lengths easily become dry. 🧡 Scent and usage Just like the shampoo and conditioner, this leave-in has a fresh and uplifting citrus scent that makes it lovely to use in the shower. The spray bottle is large and very handy, it's easy to distribute the product evenly through towel-dried hair. I use it both as a conditioning spray, nourishment, and heat protection before I blow-dry my hair, and it really does the job without weighing my hair down. 🧡 Feel after washing The hair becomes very easy to detangle immediately after application. The spray makes the lengths soft and easy to style, while it feels like the hair gets a nice extra care. I immediately notice that the hair becomes shiny and looks healthier. 🧡 Color preserving and shine After use, the hair looks healthier and becomes very shiny and nice. As a bonus, it also works as heat protection up to 230°C, so I can just blow-dry my hair right after washing without needing to apply an extra heat protectant besides this, so nice! 🧡 Summary This is a product I really like and that feels like a real star in the Glow Mania series. Easy to use thanks to the spray bottle, fresh scent, heat protection, and a really nice result on the hair as it becomes shiny, easy to detangle, and more vibrant. For me, it's a definite repurchase, and I think the price feels reasonable for what you get. I expected more from this product. Smells fresh, a bit like raspberry lemonade. But it doesn't give much shine and the hair becomes rough after blow-drying. Matrix Glowmania Leave-in
I have had the chance to try #lykotestpilot the Matrix Glowmania series for a few weeks with shampoo, conditioner, and leave-in spray. I have frizzy and dry hair with curls, and I often straighten my natural hair. My first impression was that it was hard to get the product out of the packaging, I thought the spray was "hard". It has a citrus scent that smells fresh but isn't a hit with me. My hair definitely feels softer and shinier after using this, it detangles quickly and feels moisturizing.
