Redken Extreme Length Shampoo is one of those shampoos that I find especially interesting when you focus on maintaining long and healthy hair. After washing, the hair feels soft and easier to manage, and I think it works really well as the first step together with conditioner or hair mask from the same series. 🤍 What makes Extreme Length extra interesting is the focus on helping the hair maintain its length by caring for the hair strand. The series is designed to strengthen the hair and reduce the risk of the lengths breaking, which feels very relevant if you’re trying to grow out your hair. You don’t need to do anything complicated – shampoo, rinse out, and continue with the rest of your hair care. 🥰 For me, it’s above all the feeling of clean, soft, and more well-cared-for hair that makes me like this shampoo. No noticeable difference
I was really super excited to try this! But still no noticeable difference. I've used it for the past 4 months and my hair feels the same. Don't be fooled by the name.
My daughter with her porous, slightly damaged hair has now used 5 bottles of this shampoo and conditioner (since last fall). The shampoo is neither good nor bad. Does it make your hair longer? Absolutely not! 😄 Stronger? No, not that either! Cleans as expected. The conditioner wasn't enough to make the hair soft and detangled, so she has often had to use a hair mask. I myself have tested several different Redken series over the past 25+ years, and this was the "best" of them, yet nothing I would recommend. It doesn't do anything special, so buy a budget shampoo of the same quality instead. Excellent shampoo!
A shampoo that cleans just right, not too harsh but also doesn’t leave the hair feeling greasy. It feels like it makes my hair a bit thicker and stronger, yet still nourishes it. Also makes the hair really shiny! I love this scent! 😍 I also believe that the biotin in the shampoo helps keep my hair roots and scalp healthy.
