Great alternative to silver shampoo
If you find that silver shampoo makes your hair dry or leaves some parts of your hair blue or purple, then l recommend you try a color depositing conditioner or mask instead. I have used up almost the entire bottle of this and it has never turned my hair blue, purple or gray like some other product products might. It has quite a strong smell that stays in the hair for some days but that's tolerable. My own hair is about a level 7 or 8 and then I have highlights that are level 9 or 10. This mask makes the highlighted parts appear a lot more neutral if they have gotten a yellow tone from metals in the tap water. It's also a great conditioner that claims to repair bonds in hair. I think it has a lot of protein so it can make your hair feel a little coarse or brittle. Which color?
Hi! I had an unsuccessful visit to the hairdresser. It was supposed to be a sunkissed balayage but ended up being a bit of everything; orange, yellow, rose, and silver. The hairdresser sold me a bonding mask in the color glazed caramel and said it would make it better. The orange was toned down quite a bit, but some strands turned very rose-colored instead, and overall the hair became quite mushroom-colored. Except for the silver strand that remained pretty silver. I have brittle dry hair after many years of bleaching, and using silver products can sometimes make my thirsty hair absorb too much product and turn it into a blue-gray disaster. π€ͺ So when I chose to try this product, I set the timer to 5 minutes just to be safe! Oh, isn't this available in a darker red shade? I also love the tube of conditioner that comes with Schwarzkopf's permanent home dyes. Is it possible to buy it separately in a larger package? For example, there is a more intense red and a darker ruby tone, but if you want an even deeper red, you usually need to mix in a darker shade to get the right result π Regarding the conditioner that comes with Schwarzkopf's home dyes, I completely agree with you, they are really super nice π Unfortunately, that exact product is almost never sold separately, as it is specifically developed for the color kits. Does it work on gray hair? I'm not looking for anything completely covering, but thinking of using it to hide a little demarcation line between the colors.
