Unfortunately not for me
I was sooo looking forward to trying this product after seeing all the reviews, and now that I've tried it for a summer, I've realized that unfortunately it's not for me😔 I have sensitive, combination/oily skin, which many said this sunscreen is perfect for... I am completely obsessed with the SKIN1004 Hyalu-Cica Water-Fit Sun Serum because it literally feels like a lightweight moisturizer instead of a sticky sunscreen. It melts into the skin instantly, giving a huge boost of hydration with absolutely zero white cast, heaviness, or stinging around the eyes. I wear it every single day under my makeup, and it never pills or turns me into a grease ball by lunchtime. Light and good sunscreen!
A very light and pleasant sunscreen! It absorbs quickly into the skin and doesn’t leave a greasy layer, which I have experienced with other sunscreens. It also doesn’t run into the eyes and start to sting when you get a bit warm or sweaty, which I really appreciate! 🙌🏻 I find my skin sensitive and acne-prone, and some sunscreens can be too thick for me and cause breakouts. This one, however, works perfectly for my skin! The skin feels light and hydrated after application, and I also feel it gives a little extra glow. ✨ I haven’t experienced any "flaking" with this one either, and it blends well with the other products in my routine. Pleasant Sunscreen Without Hassle
I really like this sunscreen! It feels very pleasant on the skin and I don’t experience any white cast at all. It also doesn’t feel particularly greasy or sticky, which is a big plus for me since some sunscreens can easily feel a bit too heavy. I’ve also used it under makeup a few times and it worked without any problems. It hasn’t made my makeup settle weirdly or flake, nor has it felt extra heavy on the skin. Another big plus is that it doesn’t sting my eyes, which I’ve experienced with some other sunscreens. I’ve previously used Beauty of Joseon’s sunscreen and liked it, but personally I actually prefer SKIN1004’s! It feels light, moisturizing, and comfortable while avoiding that greasy feeling. I’ve really fallen for SKIN1004 Madagascar Centella Hyalu-Cica Water-Fit Sun Serum! This is exactly the kind of SPF I like – light, moisturizing, and without that classic heavy sunscreen feeling. 🥹 The first thing I noticed was the texture. It really feels more like a serum than a traditional sunscreen and glides easily over the skin. I find it absorbs quickly and leaves a soft, hydrated feeling without the skin feeling sticky. And the finish! ✨ I get such a fresh and dewy glow that I really love. The skin looks hydrated without me feeling like I’m just shiny from sunscreen. I also think it works really well under makeup. The base feels easier to apply on top, and I like when the SPF doesn’t make foundation feel heavy or weird. 🤍 What I appreciate most is actually that I want to use it. SPF can sometimes feel like a boring must, but with this one, it feels more like an extra skincare step. That makes a big difference for me. It features SKIN1004’s signature Hyalu-Cica complex – a blend of hyaluronic acid and Centella Asiatica extract – to deliver deep hydration and help soothe the skin. Enriched with niacinamide and adenosine to promote a more even tone and nourish the skin. The formula also includes botanical extracts such as broccoli, wheat germ, alfalfa, and green tea, known for their antioxidant and calming properties.
