Good for the skin!
I ordered this product in my latest Lyko order. I've used it quite a bit since then. I'm very satisfied with my purchase and had also heard many good things about this serum before. The Ordinary has such affordable and good products🧖♀️ A bit exciting that the product is so pink in color, but you don't mind that when you like pink🧷 The dropper bottle works well, no hassle like some droppers can cause. I think the product calms and moisturizes the skin, and it feels smoother and more radiant afterwards. It also calms redness in the skin. There are better options
I don't notice as big of a difference as with other serums that focus on protecting and building up the skin barrier, and it triggered my rosacea if my skin was extra sensitive that day, so I can't recommend it for the extra sensitive.27 views- The user's roll: Customer service at Lyko. A true superhero!
I have used this product for many years, but have been only somewhat satisfied. I didn't quite understand what difference it makes for the skin. But now I have the answer, and this product is a pure superhero! I have gone through a tough time, with serious cancer and a treatment plan that the doctors were unsure I could handle. They were surprised at how nice my skin was after the radiation treatment was over — and I can thank this serum for that! Together with the GF solution from the same brand, the serum has saved my skin from the worst damage. No one can see where I had radiation treatment, unless they use a magnifying glass. Now I really see in practice what this product does for the skin. Think about how many skin damages we get throughout life, which we don't see until it's too late. Soothing but sticky
My skin type: combination skin (oily forehead, the rest dry, slightly clogged) I have a love-hate relationship with this serum, but I always buy a new bottle when it runs out. It really does its job: it soothes the skin and strengthens the skin barrier. But - it is very greasy. To me, it looks like I've smeared butter on my face, even though I only use 2 or 3 drops. Is supposed to solve problems with irritated skin. Is supposed to improve unevenness and provide smoother skin. It is bubblegum pink. It sinks in nicely without stickiness. The skin looks better, meaning no redness, but I feel a tightness on my cheeks that sometimes feels annoyingly irritated. 🤔 But you can't see anything. A very good serum! I've gotten both good hydration and smoother skin on my forehead from it. Fast becoming a holy grail product!
I've used up 2 bottles of this serum and am in the process of ordering the third. Disconcerting hot pink color to begin with, but I like it now. I use it in my morning and evening routines. Mornings I use it as final step before sunscreen, and as a final step in the evenings. It's hydrating, fresh and not oily at all; truly nourishing. It's good as a base when I add a couple of Vitamin C serum drops to it in the morning, or even a few drops of Granactive Retinoid in the evenings.
