I have been a WKNO test person for this product. I love this product! I use it generously on towel-dried hair, and my thick, naturally curly hair becomes both shiny and moisturized without looking greasy. I have truly been impressed by Amika Frizz-Me-Not Hydrating Anti-Frizz Treatment! This is one of those products I didn’t quite understand the hype around until I tried it myself – and WOW, what a difference it can make on frizzy hair. 😭✨ I spray it on freshly washed, towel-dried hair and comb through so the product is evenly distributed. Then I blow-dry my hair because it’s the heat that activates the treatment and gives the best smoothing effect. 🤍🔥 What I notice immediately is how much smoother and softer the hair feels. The frizz really settles down and the lengths get a completely different shine. I especially love that the hair still feels like hair – not stiff or hard – but more well cared for and manageable. And the result is actually supposed to last quite a long time. The formula is designed to reduce frizz by up to 75% for up to 72 hours, even in high humidity. It’s also supposed to provide 3.4 times more hydration and help make hair easier to comb and manage. I also find it extra lovely when the hair feels dry and flyaway. The sea buckthorn oil in the formula contributes fatty acids, antioxidants, vitamins, and lipids, which is perfect when I want both moisture and a smoother finish. 🤎 One thing I really appreciate is that you don’t need to use a lot. However, I would be a bit careful if your hair is thin – some might find it gets heavy if you overdose. There are also reviews where users have found it works better in the 60 ml version than the 200 ml, so I would definitely start with a small amount. 😂 The scent is also so incredibly nice. It gives that little extra luxury feeling when you blow-dry your hair and it smells freshly styled afterwards. 🥹✨ The only thing I would say is that this isn’t the product I would choose if I just wanted a regular heat protectant for flat or curling irons. 60 ml vs 200 ml
The 60 ml bottle is much better than the 200 ml one, don’t understand why?! Must be different ingredients in it. My hair becomes soft, moisturized, less frizzy, and shiny with the small bottle. With the larger version, a film is left on the hair and it feels plasticky. I have tested Amika's anti-frizz me not spray about 3 times in store and am just as WOW-ed every time! I have incredibly thin bleached hair that is super frizzy. I've never had a product that really lays like a layer over the hair and fixes the frizz in seconds – but this one does! ☀️ Positive First product I've tried that works against my frizz Smells good ☀️ Negative - Actually a bit too heavy for my hair so I have to apply a very thin layer so it doesn't weigh down - Feels like it can't be that good for the hair since it leaves a bit of a "plastic" feeling afterwards – but at the same time, it's the only product that has helped my frizz so who knows... - A bit too expensive. The spray protects the hair during blow-drying and light styling, but its not the same level of protection as a dedicated heat protectant for flat irons or curling irons. Good result
As a WKNO test person I got to try amika Forget Frizz Anti Frizz Shampoo and Conditioner Frizz-Me-Not Hydrating Anti-Frizz Treatment. I have tested these products both as a kit and separately for almost 2 months. The treatment was not so easy to figure out for me at first. The bottle is not the best mister, it can also be the formula that is too thick for a spray bottle. So it shoots out the product. So you have to spread it out throughout hair. I was also using too much. And my hair was getting kind of greasy and heavy. But then I used less and used a blow dryer at high heat directly after using it instead of waiting for my hair to air dry and it worked much much better. For me it’s about the balance with this kit. If I really want to keep the frizz away I go for the combination of all. Otherwise I chose the shampoo and conditioner with a different styling product or use a different shampoo and conditioner with the treatment to be able to manage the frizz.1 product in post Good result4276 views
