Affordable!!
Honestly, for such a cheap eyeshadow, I didn’t have very high expectations, but I really think it’s a great choice if you’re on a budget! It applies beautifully on the lid, and I love how it goes from creamy to a more powdery finish – it makes it feel luxurious and easy to work with. You can really build it up depending on whether you want a soft everyday look or something more glowing for the evening, which is a big plus. Unfortunately, I found it a bit tricky to blend sometimes. It sets quite quickly, so you need to work a bit fast, otherwise it can get a little uneven. And regarding the glitter, I wish it was a bit creamier in texture – right now it feels a bit drier than I like, even though it still gives a nice shimmer. Completely okay but not wow
This eyeshadow palette from Lyko is practical for traveling and it works completely okay. As you can see, the pigments are quite good, especially the matte eyeshadow. 🤎 But from the shimmery eyeshadows, I expected more pigment, especially from the last one. They give okay pigment and can be used as eyeshadows, but there are much better ones on the market, e.g. essence, nyx, morphe or anastasia beverly hills. One color fell out
Just like someone else wrote here earlier, one whole color fell out of the packaging. I had only used the product a couple of times when one day, in a quick moment, I turned the packaging upside down, and one of the colors fell out completely and of course broke. Nice and handy palette!
I had the honor of testing this product as a Lyko Influtester! The palette from By Lyko is really super light and handy, perfect to take with you on the go and in your makeup bag. I'm really bad at applying eyeshadow myself since it's something I usually don't do, but I really want to get better because it's so pretty! Also, I have hooded eyes, so I need to practice, practice, practice. I don't think my result was perfect this time, but practice makes perfect! 😉 Regarding the formula itself, I wish the glittery shadows were a bit creamier. However, I find it much better to apply the shimmer with my finger than with a brush. I used a bit of concealer as a “primer” before applying the eyeshadow, and I still think the shadows applied evenly and nicely on the eyelid. Definitely a budget-friendly little palette to practice with! Easy-to-work-with shadows
These palettes are incredibly easy to work with, not at all difficult to get a smooth transition to the next shadow. What’s good to know is that the matte shadows have a cream-to-powder formula and are therefore very soft, so be careful with the brush/finger! 😊 What keeps it from being a perfect score is that the dark shadows aren’t pigmented enough to be used to give the makeup a proper depth. They also don’t really build up. Doesn't hold up
Sooo pretty colors! But unfortunately, they don't hold up at all. A few quick tips that often make a big difference, especially for shimmery shades, are to avoid eye cream on the eyelid and instead lightly degrease. A bit hard eyeshadow
I’ve been lucky enough to test 3 makeup products from #bylyko and this time it was the Eye-con Eyeshadow palette Honey drizzle ⭐️ The colors suit me perfectly and I love the shimmer they give off, BUT I have to use the brush to pick up more product than I would like! Not the best pigment but a totally okay budget option
I really love eyeshadows. I can't say it's the best palette I've ever tried in my life, but for the price, it's relatively good! Nice colors and you can definitely create a look. I really like the burgundy shade as it reminds me of the burgundy shade in the ABH Soft Glam Palette. And it is a budget option. The glitter shadows are okay but not the best. I will use it but wish there was more pigment. ❤️ #bylyko #lykoinflutester
