I had the honor of testing Clinique’s lip products and I am incredibly impressed! Clinique Almost Lipstick Black Honey I have never tried a color like this before, so it was a completely new experience for me, and I love it! Clinique Almost Lipstick in Black Honey has a fantastic, universally flattering shade that looks so natural and elegant. The best part is that the color is easy to build up; a swipe gives a soft tone, but you can easily apply more for a deeper pigment. The formula is also incredibly soft and pleasant, and it doesn’t dry out the lips at all, which is a big plus. It feels like a perfect blend between a balm and a lipstick, and I really understand why it’s a cult favorite. I will definitely be using this often! Not quite friends with this
I like the concept, and it gives a nice shine. The color was a bit too reddish-brown for my taste, but that's probably more about my own lips and preferences. It's easy to apply and has a simple and neat packaging. 🤍 My problem with this is that I can't get it to lay nicely, it goes on incredibly streaky on my lips and I can't "smudge" it out either. Great for everyday
I've always liked Clinique overall and their lipsticks. I heard about this lipstick and got curious. I was a bit skeptical, but I think it glides beautifully on the lips and the color looks nice on me. It's not too much color, but gives a very nice natural result on my lips. Then I can build up the color a bit. Amazing color waxy consistency
This has become my go-to color for fall, especially when paired with an eyeliner. I was a bit disappointed with the waxy consistency, and the pigment could have been stronger for my taste. But this is almost lipstick and isn’t meant to be super pigmented. Good but not fantastic
I really like this lipstick, but I don't quite understand the hype. My lips do have quite a bit of color in them, which of course affects the result...but I don't see much difference at all - like my lips but more pink 🫣🙃 It glides on easily, gives an even result, and holds up okay. However, I wish for more moisture. Will I repurchase when this is gone? No, at least not in this shade, maybe another one. Pleasant and user-friendly product
Finally bought this viral product - original shade of course, namely Black Honey. Pleasant texture, user-friendly and elegant packaging. Nice shade. Not sticky, but the moisturizing effect isn't as much as I imagined, hence 4/5 stars.
