I had the honor of testing Clinique’s lip products and I am incredibly impressed! Clinique Almost Lipstick Black Honey I have never tried a color like this before, so it was a completely new experience for me, and I love it! Clinique Almost Lipstick in Black Honey has a fantastic, universally flattering shade that looks so natural and elegant. The best part is that the color is easy to build up; a swipe gives a soft tone, but you can easily apply more for a deeper pigment. The formula is also incredibly soft and pleasant, and it doesn’t dry out the lips at all, which is a big plus. It feels like a perfect blend between a balm and a lipstick, and I really understand why it’s a cult favorite. I will definitely be using this often! Not quite friends with this
I like the concept, and it gives a nice shine. The color was a bit too reddish-brown for my taste, but that's probably more about my own lips and preferences. It's easy to apply and has a simple and neat packaging. 🤍 My problem with this is that I can't get it to lay nicely, it goes on incredibly streaky on my lips and I can't "smudge" it out either. Moisturizing and good format
As a #lykoinflutester, I got to test this lip gloss from #Clinique. It's important to keep in mind with products like this, dark but at the same time transparent color, not to have all flaky lips before starting to use it. I recommend using a light scrub if you haven't done it in a while, otherwise the result will be quite patchy. Just because the product is clearly colored, it's good that the tip is narrower than on regular lip balms, to avoid applying outside the lips when I'm in a rush. I also appreciate that the packaging seems to be resistant to scratches and fingerprints; the same cannot be said for the sister product, the lip and cheek oil. In the picture, I have painted my lips with lip gloss on one half and lip oil on the other. For being a lip gloss and not a lip balm, it holds the moisturizing feeling relatively long.Translated from swedish

A product to my taste
I have tried to figure out how to best describe this lip gloss, and I have come to the conclusion that "lagom" might be the best word? It is LAGOM💘 I use lip balm daily but rarely products with color in them, probably because I don’t think I suit it. Mac stone+ this = dream combo 👄
I've heard a lot about this, but I've never tested it since I have something similar from Givenchy that they came out with a few years back. BUT I have to say that I actually prefer this. Feels more moisturizing and gives a slightly softer color on the lips. In combo with Mac lipliner in the shade: stone, this is a COMBO I've used a lot since 😍. JUST LOOK AT IT 🤌. Even though Clinique has a lip and cheek combo product, I feel this can do the same job. Lovely finish!
I got to test Clinique's Almost lipstick in the shade Black Honey Glow 🖤🍯✨ Comes in a cute packaging, and because the shape of the lip product is a bit thinner, I felt it was a bit easier to be precise with application, especially on the go 💄 I experienced that it could settle a bit "stripy" if I was dry on the lips, but when I was mindful of that, I always used a lipscrub in the morning and that did wonders 💋 Personally, I felt the color was a bit "harsh" on me, in the sense that I have very light skin, blonde hair, and blue eyes. And even though the color becomes very sheer, a dark berry color didn't suit my look, as I struggled a bit in everyday life to get the color to work. I couldn't quite pull-it-off However, I thought the product applied very nicely and provided long-lasting moisture. As a #lykoinflutester, I had the opportunity to test this "almost lipstick" from #clinique, thanks Lyko! (color Black honey) I have previously tested similar products from Clarins and can say that both are equally good! They are in the same class, I would say. The lip gloss is enriched with nutrient-rich ingredients that soften and moisturize the lips. That’s why it’s so lovely to use anytime in all possible situations, but it’s really good as a caring everyday lipstick! 💄💋 The color may look a bit intimidating, but on the lips, it gives such a nice and natural result! This is a really good go-to product! The formula is light and gives a little shine, it’s quite easy to build up if you want a bit more intense color. A dream for the lips
This is a makeup product that feels like skincare! It is so incredibly soft and lovely on the lips and really provides a wonderful hydration without feeling sticky. I think it feels so light on the lips that you don't even notice you have a product on, while it is also so moisturizing! It builds up gradually, so it's easy to adjust how much color you want! I also use this as a little finishing product on the cheeks as blush, where I think it is more pigmented and gives a lot of color quickly! What I unfortunately don't like about this is the color itself, it doesn't suit me which makes me so sad. But since this is so easy to build up, I usually use this for everyday with just one layer. But I prefer more brown tones on my lips and this is definitely leaning towards the berry side 🫐 With one layer, I would say the color becomes like your natural lips but with more color, so it can really give a lovely natural result if you're looking for that! What makes it not get a full score is that it's hard to get nice lines on the lips. I know that the color of this lip gloss is scary at first glance. It was for me too haha! BUT, it’s not as brown/purple dark as it looks on the actual stick. Instead, I find that it melts into the lips and gives an effect of fuller lips. It’s so natural? I’m also one of those who has extremely dry lips during the winter and therefore can’t apply just anything on my lips. But this really works so well 🙌🏼 It provides a lot of moisture and doesn’t settle into dry patches. And an extra tip is really to use this together with Clinique Pop Lip & Cheek Oil Black Honey Glow. Very natural and lightly pigmented lip balm/lipstick. The color leans towards the reddish side. Not my favorite in tone, I might have liked pink honey better. I might consider purchasing that tone. Super cute and caring
Almost lipstick is a fantastic lightweight lip balm that gives a hint of color but also has so many caring properties🤩 Fantastic to have in your bag for touch-ups during the day, but also as a caring balm, 2-in-1 function! Who doesn't love that, right? Something that looks good but also does good❤️ My best girlfriend bought this when it just came out, and I just felt I had to have it too! But I never got around to it, so I was not a little happy and excited when I got the trust from Lyko and Clinique to get it home to test😍👏🏼 I love the packaging, it’s neat and very clean, SUPER cute!!! For me, it’s my lip color but BETTER❤️ I will immediately click home one for my mom because she MUST have one of these in her bag!
