Happy Mother's Day!
Happy Mother's Day to all moms! Life's first Mother's Day for me and I was surprised with flowers and a package that I haven't opened yet. We're a bit under the weather here at home, so I fixed myself up a little anyway to look a bit fresh. I washed my hair with the Loreal metal series and Kerastase Nutritive Lait Vital Conditioner. The makeup is - milk foundation, mascara first Lenoites and another layer with milks mascara. Strong scent but fades quickly
I got to test this product as a Lykoinfluencer, and who doesn't appreciate a heat protectant? 😍 As a parent of small children, I haven't used much heat on my hair lately, so it was fitting to "curl my hair," as my partner calls it. I tested the product on both towel-dried & dry hair and found the scent quite strong and got a bit of the feeling that I had Axe spray-deodorant on me, which maybe didn't quite suit me. The scent, however, didn't last particularly long, so it was fine anyway. I used a flat iron from GHD and made some curls and like that it doesn't get too wet on the hair. The spray feels more like a hairspray on the hair. The hair after the curls felt soft, and I could easily detangle it even after a day out, which felt like this product did more than what it is expected to do in my opinion! 😍 The price of the product is still okay but a bit over many good brands for heat protectants. But if you like a heat protectant that doesn't get too damp, I think it stands out a bit from the crowd. Strong scent
I have tested this product as a lykoinfluencer. This one is also supposed to be unisex and can be used for both beard and hair. Unfortunately, my partner was not of any help here with either hair or beard, so I’m basing it on my hair. I absolutely thought my hair felt shiny and soft, it really should! This smelled good, a bit masculine for my taste, and my partner thought the same (on me) but this was more than a scent he could imagine for himself. A bit of a scent stick vibe on this actually 😍 The scent lingers for a long time and gets a bit too strong for my taste, especially since I have a 4.5-month-old baby at home. Njaa no scent for me
I got to test this product as a lykoinflutester, and since it is unisex, it would have been great to maybe test it on my partner, but since he doesn't have hair, it could only be my hair that got to test. I shook it well and used it on towel-dried hair in different sections and gently massaged it in with my fingers. The product definitely feels good and gives volume without feeling “strawy” like sea salt spray does. BUT the scent unfortunately brings it down a lot for me. Both my partner and I thought it didn’t smell good at all. Both my partner and I prefer that I smell softer, and he wasn’t really into the scent itself either.. The price for the product is very good for what it does, I think! Not overpriced, but just right! Gloss 💖
As a Lykoinfluencer, I got the chance to test this, perfect for my dry lips! I’ve had a bit of dry lips during the fall/winter, so getting some moisture was so needed! The color of the product is nice and gives more shimmer and gloss than color directly on the lips. It says in the description that it should have a plumping effect, so I was a bit shocked when I didn’t feel any tingling on my lips. It’s really great that it doesn’t sting 😍 How much plumping it has done for me isn’t much at all, but that doesn’t bother me at all. I asked my partner if he saw a difference in my lips after using it, and yes, he might not be the best judge, but he also said no 🤣 The most important thing for me is that my lips feel moisturized, which they absolutely do 😍 Also, it tastes and smells good! Both the box and the packaging are nice, I think! Now we’ve passed all ❤️ days, but otherwise, it would have been such a great Valentine’s gift 😍 I still think the price is okay! Summer Scent
As a lykoinfluencer, I got the chance to test this 😍 I read through the instructions on the website and started by moistening my face with water. I tried both waiting a minute and washing it off right away. As a new mom, it works best for me to wash it off right away, so I'm glad both methods worked well! I gently massaged it in with my hands before rinsing with water and took the rest off with cotton pads to get rid of the last little sugar bits. It smells good and sweet, and I think there isn't much about strawberry scent, but I liked this one! 😍 The packaging is really nice and easy to use. The product is red, and you can feel that it's a scrub that removes impurities from the skin. I didn't experience any stinging or redness after use 😍 Since it's important to use sun protection and you should avoid the sun after use, I would probably use this in my evening routine rather than my morning routine. Milk Makeup Kush High Roll Mascara I have very long and "lifeless" lashes that don’t really want to stay curled and pretty, so finding a mascara that doesn’t weigh my lashes down is not the easiest, which I won’t be too harsh about in my review. When I’m looking for a good mascara, I don’t want them to clump together and I want there to be a lot of color. I think lashes make the whole look, and I feel prettiest when they are on point. We start with the packaging, which is really pretty, feels luxurious! Then I found the brush easy to use😍 I think the mascara gives a perfect color without needing to layer it on. It does weigh my lashes down a bit, so I have to carefully bend them a little after they’ve dried, but as I said, it’s something I’m very used to. I will definitely treat myself to a lash lift later 😍 I think the lashes look full, which I like! Volume on lashes is the best thing I know. Compared to my other favorite, this one is about 100kr more expensive. This (milk) is significantly easier to remove in the evening. Some mascaras require warmer water and a bit more rubbing than this one did. This one also gives more fullness in comparison while both are caring 😍 As for what it does for length, I find it hard to comment on. It states in the description that it gives both length and volume, so it should probably work for you if you don’t have very long lashes either. Maybe even better. Milk Makeup Hydro Grip Gel Tint Oh my gosh! So fun to try something that hasn't even been released yet. I didn't have much information about the product itself before I tried this. That's why the first impression was a little extra special. I first used primer from the same brand. I tried for the first time to only use the primer on one side. On both sides, the product is easy to work with. Slightly better on the side with primer. I was worried that the color wouldn't suit me, but I absolutely thought it was super. I really needed a bit more warmth in my face after this chilly period. I used one layer and noticed that my freckles that appeared after pregnancy show through, which I like. Therefore, it is not fully covering. I read a bit now after the product has been set aside and is ready to be released that you can layer it if you want it a bit more covering. The product contains, like their primer, caring ingredients, which feels good for someone who might not use much makeup. I need to take good care of my skin for the makeup to sit well too. Also, this product is vegan. So if you're looking for a more luxurious foundation that is vegan, this is super! Not to mention the packaging, it is so pretty!
