Moisturizing in a jar?
No one has missed the hype behind the Korean brand #cosrx. As #lykoinflutester, I got to test the Advanced Snail 92 All in one Cream for a few days. The cream contains a whopping 92% snail secretion that effectively helps to repair and soothe red, irritated skin by hydrating it. The cream promises to protect the skin from moisture loss and improve skin elasticity. I have "normal" skin and use moisturizing products because I like how my makeup looks after use and because it gives a glow after my skincare routine. The cream really gives a glow after use and doesn't leave the skin sticky/tacky despite the consistency. The cream claims to be deeply moisturizing and prevent skin aging by plumping the skin from within. I have noticed that I feel hydrated and plump after use. However, I don't see any difference in preventing skin aging; I might need to use it more. I recommend this product because it is affordable, especially if you are new to the Korean skincare world. A serum that's worth the money
As #lykoinflutester, I got to test #cosrx Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence. The product contains 96% snail secretion and promises to protect the skin from moisture loss while also improving skin elasticity. Personally, I have "normal" skin but still tend to use moisturizing products. I'm looking for products that are moisturizing to achieve better makeup application but also in my skin care routine. I have used the product before and was satisfied. The essence is not sticky or heavy on the skin despite the consistency, and it melts/moisturizes deeply. I don't think there's anything special about the product other than the moisturizing. Feminine Sensuality in a Bottle
I have always loved #ysl Libre EdP Intense and it is my go-to perfume when I want to smell good and sensual. But now that I, as #lykoinflutester, got to test Libre Eau Parfum, I fell just as in love with this scent. The perfume smells of lavender and orange blossoms. It is not too strong and sits comfortably on the skin. I also love how the perfume has notes of musk and vanilla. I have used the perfume several times and received many compliments from both my partner and colleagues. I didn't think the perfume would be as strong as Libre EdP intense, but I was pleasantly surprised! The bottle is simply among the prettiest I have ever seen. It’s enough to spray once to get enough perfume that lasts long. I highly recommend this perfume if you want to feel sensual and feminine during the day but don’t want to wear a too strong scent. Moisturizing gloss
As #lykoinflutester I have tested #fentybeauty Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer Fenty Glow. I was initially unsure about the color, but it was much prettier than I thought. I used the product once during the day and thought it held up well until I had dinner. But that’s also the case with other glosses. When I buy Lip Gloss, it’s important for me that it doesn’t stick and leave "a white gunk" on my lips. The lip gloss didn’t stick, and I didn’t get any "gunk" either. I am very satisfied with the product, but the price is probably something that might make me not choose to buy it next time. #fentybeauty has released a new full primer that I #lykoinflutester got to test. The primer is called Grip Trip Hydrating Primer and is said to be skincare and makeup in one. The primer promises to - Set makeup all day - Provide a natural finish - And it should have plumping properties. When I tested the primer, I loved how it felt on the skin. Magic in a bottle
LYKO has FINALLY gotten #fentybeauty! This is exciting news and as #lykoinflutester I had the honor of testing the FENTY BEAUTY setting spray! I LOVE this spray because - YOU GET WHAT IT PROMISES - MAKEUP LASTS FOR HOURS I tested the makeup for several hours and I was really impressed. Throughout the day, I was outside, cleaning, and even had a baby eating on my face. Despite ALL of this, my makeup still looked fresh and good! I don’t know what they put in the bottle, but it’s completely magical!! I highly recommend this product if you want to look dewy. If you have issues with oil, I recommend using a mattifying primer under the makeup. Pretty okay
Amazing Deep Mint Cleansing Balm by #mamonde is described as a balm that cleanses deeply, exfoliates, and controls sebum. The balm contains mint, PHA, BHA, centella asiatica AHA, and heartleaf. The product also claims to remove makeup! I have, as #lykoinflutester, tested the balm for a few weeks and I am torn. The product claims to cleanse deeply and remove makeup, but that was not my experience. I found that there was still makeup left and had to use other cleansers afterwards to get rid of the last of the makeup. However, when I used the balm to cleanse my face, it felt clean afterwards. Upon use, my skin felt hydrated, which was a big plus. My skin was also not irritated afterwards. The balm smells like mint, which I initially thought would be a problem, but it turned out not to be an issue. The scent of mint is there, but it’s so faint that you hardly notice it. I recommend the product, but it’s important to keep in mind that you might need to - either use an additional cleanser with the balm if you want to remove makeup - or use a lot of the balm, which I think is a downside considering how much the product costs Overall, this is a good product with its pros and cons ☺️1 product in post Pretty okay172 views - The user's roll: Lyko Creator. Pore Shrinker Bakuchiol Cream by #mamonde is described as a cream that controls sebum, balances oil, reduces visible pores, and tightens the skin. The cream contains Bakuchiol and retinol, which helps to even out the skin. As #lykoinflutester, I got to test the cream and I must say that I love it! Personally, I use creams that contain retinol and other acids, but I have never used bakuchiol before. I have used the cream as the last step in my skincare. Upon application, the cream melts into the skin and leaves a nice glow. The cream is not "thick" or "sticky". My skin feels good afterward, and I have noticed a difference in my T-zone, the pores are not as visible. I highly recommend this product for 1. It works 2. Tested for allergies 3. Deep Glow
I have as #lykoinflutester tested #mamonde! Mamonde Flora Glow Rose Liquid Mask is described as a product that gives glow, exfoliates, and moisturizes the skin. The mask contains ingredients like PHA and rose peptide. The product can also be used to improve makeup application! When I first read that the mask should be used BEFORE toner, I was a bit skeptical and afraid that the toner would remove the mask. I was pleasantly surprised when that didn’t happen, and the mask gave a lovely glow after toner. I have used the mask with other products, and there have been no issues. My skin has also not been irritated by the product. After using the mask for a few weeks, my skin feels soft and "bouncy". The mask has also added extra glow when I do my makeup, which I like. Is the hype justified?
I personally use several products from [hashtag] and was of course happy when I got the chance to try their latest product Daily Tinted Fluid Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 30 PA +++. I had high expectations for this product since the other products have been good, but I was disappointed in various ways. First of all, I got the wrong color, I used their description but still didn’t choose right. I was also disappointed that there aren’t as many shades for POC, which was a minus for me. The color I got to test is MY220 and was too light for me. I can of course use the color, but I have to "fix" it with other products for it to suit me. Another thing that disappointed me was how oily I felt the product was. I have used it with different skincare but still felt that I looked oily, despite using powder afterwards.
