The post was made 2 weeksRating: 1 out of 5Verifierad testareUnfortunately, this foundation wasn’t the right one for me.Unfortunately, this is probably the first time I have to give such a bad review to a product. 🥺 I was really excited to try Estée Lauder’s foundation since the original had received a lot of praise. However, this is a renewed version. Unfortunately, my experience this time was not very positive. First of all, I was disappointed that the shade I chose was wrong. Of course, I chose the shade myself, so that was my mistake. But I wanted to test the foundation on my whole face to see how it looked. Already during application, I noticed that the foundation was somehow difficult to apply nicely. I couldn’t achieve the smooth and natural finish I had hoped for. Additionally, the shade seemed to oxidize during the day and clearly turned slightly orange on my face. Later, the staying power didn’t impress me either. The foundation didn’t stay nicely on my face for very long and settled unpleasantly into fine lines and pores. However, it’s good to remember that foundations behave differently on different skin types. Its biggest strength is definitely the hydration and the beautiful glow it gives the face without a heavy or sticky feeling. The product’s lightweight texture also makes the experience really pleasant. 🫶 I especially like how beautifully the primer gives the face a glow. The result is radiant and fresh, but not too glittery or artificial looking. The skin simply looks healthier and more vibrant. If you want a little extra radiance and a hydrated-looking surface, this primer does it really beautifully. One of the best things about the product is also its versatility. You can use the primer on its own, giving the skin a beautiful, natural glow without actual makeup. It also works excellently under makeup. Foundation applies really well over the primer, and the makeup stays beautiful all day. The primer has a mild scent, but I don’t find it disturbing at all. The only small downside is the primer’s quite runny texture. You should apply it carefully, as it’s easy to use a bit too much at once. It gives the lips just the right amount of color as well as a fresh and polished look. After use, the lips remain moisturized with a full appearance, which I especially like. The texture is one of the best aspects of the product. The lip oil spreads easily and feels pleasant on the lips, and the texture is neither too sticky nor heavy. Additionally, it truly moisturizes the lips for a longer time, which is a big plus for me. The lips feel soft and cared for even a good while after application. All in all, this is a wonderfully pleasant lip oil that combines a beautiful natural shade with good hydration. However, this mascara really surprised me in a positive way! I especially like mascaras that leave a natural yet noticeable finish, and this one does exactly that. The lashes look beautifully separated, fuller, and longer without the result looking too heavy or overdone. One of the biggest pluses is that it doesn't clump. The mascara applies evenly, and you can layer the lashes to make them more dramatic without them looking clumpy. Additionally, it stays really well in place all day. It doesn't smudge or flake throughout the day. It's wonderful not having to worry about mascara spreading under the eyes or falling onto the cheeks during the day. 🤭 All in all, this has been a really positive surprise for me. I rarely find a mascara that manages to combine a natural and striking finish with good durability so well. So I was excited to try them out. I've only used eye masks before, so I liked the idea that the same jar contains gel masks for several different areas of the face. It makes the product versatile. Unfortunately, these didn't convince me. I didn't notice any visible difference in my skin during use. Of course, it's possible that the product needs to be used longer for the results to show better. I also feel that the price is quite high relative to how many gel masks are in the jar. I will continue to stick to eye masks myself, as they suit my needs better. This is already the second shade I've ordered to try, and I'm absolutely in love with it. The result is beautifully natural and well-groomed. With many other brands' nail polishes, I haven't gotten such an even finish; the polish often becomes uneven and the brush messes up the cuticles. Manucurist's brush, on the other hand, is really easy to use, and applying the polish works neatly without unnecessary mess. I don't know what magic is in these, but I no longer want to use other nail polishes. 😍 One of the biggest pluses is also the really fast drying time.
