    Highly recommended

Highly recommended! So nice on the skin. I have combination skin and think it will suit both dry and oily skin. Gives a satin finish, so not completely matte and not very glowy. Lasts all day

Smells good, but requires perfection from me 😆

A whole lot of foundations I ordered last time, and more are coming now, so I have to review this one from #elfcosmetics 🙈 The tube is a classic squeeze tube with a "window" showing the shade, with a nicely firm formula; Not too runny or thick 👌🏻 This foundation is supposed to be medium to full coverage, and I don't completely agree with that..😬 ✨️If your skin is nice or at least in a better period, then it's a bit like that. But when I find myself in a "worse" period, it clearly shows that more layers are needed for not all pimples, unevenness, and rosacea/redness to shine through. 🤡😔 Which also makes me look pink 🩷🤣 (The pictures happened to be taken during a better period) And unfortunately, it seems to require a good primer underneath, otherwise it starts to separate almost immediately. 😢 Also powder and concealer, which makes it quickly feel heavy. 🤡Summary🤡 ➕️ Good consistency for application ➖️ "Requires" primer ➖️ Separates ➖️ Barely medium coverage if you have imperfections I still use it during the days when my skin is "nice", but when there is extra rosacea or other unevenness, I have to choose another.. 😥 #LykoReview

    • Tried this in-store and immediately felt that it wasn't for me... honestly can't remember the reason, but I remember being a bit surprised because I had expected better 😊

Hey Anz! 👋😊 Oh, it's so hard to say! It's always best to try to check in a physical store, but I would think that 12 or 15 will be the best match 🥰 Take care! ☀️

    Help

I now have Lumene's CC cream in shade 2 medium and L'Oréal Paris true match in shade 2.N, neutral. Which shade should I choose because it's super hard to decide😆

Hey Maja 👋🤍 Since all brands have different color codes, it’s very hard to compare. My strongest recommendation is to test the shade in-store to find the perfect match. It gives you the chance to really try it before you decide 🕵🏼‍♀️🤍 If it’s not possible to try in-store, I’ve of course done a bit of research and found that the shades 31 Medium Neutral or 25 Light Neutral are the best options. This is because Lumene Medium 2 has a cool undertone while L'Oréal Paris True Match in color 2.N has a neutral undertone. So it’s safest to look for a shade with a neutral undertone 🙌🏼 However, I can’t guarantee that it will be a perfect match 100% 🥰 All the best!

Hey Helin! 👋🏻☺️ From what I've seen, 21 light neutral seems to be quite similar to 2n1 in Estee Lauder's foundation. You can find it here 👇🏻☺️ lyko.com/sv/elf/e.l.f-soft-glam-satin-foundation-21-light-neutral-30ml To be completely sure you've found the right shade for you, I recommend trying the product directly on your skin in a store🩷 It can be tricky to get the right picture of the color through the screen, and in the store, you can see exactly how it blends in with your skin tone. Take care! 😍✨

    What color

Hi, I’m currently using NARS Light Reflecting Foundation in the shade Mont Blanc and wondering which shade of ELF soft glam would suit me? (I have a neutral undertone) 💗

Hey Arina 😊👋 Mont Blanc is described as a very light shade with a neutral undertone. The equivalent in this foundation is number 13 Fair Neutral or number 11 Fair Neutral. However, the best thing is if you have the opportunity to try out the shade in a physical store since it’s a bit tricky to compare shades between different brands 🤗 Good luck!

    Pretty okay!

I was influenced to try this after countless YouTubers recommended it. It's pretty okay, but not fantastic, you know… I think it's more glowy than it should be, given the name. Covers easily to medium. Doesn't last very long on the skin either, with or without primer underneath. Looks good for the first 2-3 hours and then fades easily, even with setting spray… I will use it up, but I won't buy it again…

Hey Jessica! Right now we don’t have a date for when this will be back in stock, but I hope it won’t take too long. 🤞🤍 If you haven’t been tracking the product, I recommend you do that. Then you’ll get an email the moment the product is available to order again. 💌 Take care!✨

    Good product

Stays well on the skin (combination skin), natural not cakey finish, though this shade was too light for me, even though my skin is really light, I looked like a ghost here. 😁 Next time one shade darker.

    Best for pale skin😫

I love this because it lasts long, doesn't oxidize, and you don't need much at all. I like a more natural look, but if you don't want that, you can definitely build it up!😊

Small amount of product is sufficient

I have dry oily skin. Coverage is about medium and can also be layered a bit. The final result is matte and glowy depending on the primer, with my own primer being more glowy. The shade was really good and a small amount was enough for the whole face, about 2-2.5 pumps. Stays quite well throughout the day but does separate a bit around the nose during the day. It clings a bit to dryness even though the skin is well moisturized before application. Overall a good foundation, not bad but not super good either. #lykoreview

    Water-based?

Hi, I saw the previous comment where you said this product is silicone-based. Could you clarify how this is silicone-based when the first ingredient of the product is water, isn't this then water-based? 🥺 I would like to try this foundation, but I can only use water-based products. Also, on elf's own pages, it says that this is water-based: elfcosmetics.co.uk/discover/water-based-vs-silicone-based-makeup?srsltid=AfmBOoomThZ_3yWcdV1-O8H4eDSidzAl6BWO3yGeCdrS-X5Lsss4h_Xu

Hey Sandra, Thank you for your comment and your attention! 🤍 Generally, we actually define foundation based on the primary solvent, and this can be determined from the first ingredients on the INCI list 🤗 For liquid products, the first ingredient on the ingredient list is almost always water. This doesn’t necessarily tell us about the overall composition of a single product, and almost all silicone-based foundations also contain water 🙏🏻 Apparently, the third ingredient in this product is a silicone-like ingredient (Isododecane) and the fourth most commonly used silicone, which is dimethicone. Based on this, I have assessed that I wouldn’t classify the product as completely water-based. Of course, if the product manufacturer states this, it can absolutely be suitable to be used together with water-based products 🤩 In some cases, it may be beneficial to prefer only water- or silicone-based products in the same makeup routine, but please note that this is by no means a hard and fast rule 😌 It is therefore entirely possible that products made for different bases can be used together, and this often depends on the overall composition of the products as well as the methods and purposes of use. I hope this clarifies things a bit more, have a lovely day! 💖
