Goodbye dry scalp
Yes, so fun to test something you have problems with!! I received Pure Cure Scalp Shampoo #BYLYKO 🎉 Are there more out there who have problems with dry scalp? Then read my honest review 🙋♀️ from someone who really struggles with it! A #LYKOINFLUTESTER project that has been exciting to test! About me 4B5 Dry, lifeless hair, plain and simple. I highlight my hair about 2 times/year! Both summer and winter I have problems with dry scalp that itches.. Serum for dry scalp is used almost every day. I have different areas on my scalp that itch often. The shampoo 💛 250ml, just the right size. I am a bit allergic to very large packages. ➖ minus that it doesn't have a pump. But that's a matter of taste. Vegan and sulfate-free ➕➕➕ see video 📹 for consistency.. light and thin shampoo. Only a small amount is needed to get lather in the hair 🤗 To make as honest a review as possible, I haven't used my serum products for the scalp in a few weeks.🙈 Result 💛 Is it still itching? Honestly, this works super well! It really helps a dry scalp! It can itch but absolutely not at all like it used to! And I haven't used any other products for the scalp 😅 A shampoo for a good price 99kr 🤑 🙏🏼 ‼️Test test‼️ - Most helpful negativeThe post was made 6 daysRating: 2 out of 5Verifierad testare
Sulfate-free shampoo that cleans well, but not right for my hair
I got to test this shampoo from LYKO as an Influtester. 💚 A bit about my hair: I have fine and very sensitive hair with low porosity. I have also had long-term issues with my scalp and hair strands that easily break, which makes me quite careful about which products I use. The shampoo is sulfate-free, which I appreciate. It is easy to apply to the scalp, lathers just right, and has a pleasant scent. After washing, my hair felt clean and my scalp fresh. The formula contains, among other things, salicylic acid and piroctone olamine, ingredients that can be good for scalp balance. However, the shampoo also contains several different proteins. Unfortunately, my hair doesn't usually work well with products that contain a lot of protein since my hair primarily needs moisture. Therefore, I felt that my hair felt a bit coarse and somewhat dried out after use. For me, this was therefore not quite the right shampoo, but I absolutely believe it could suit someone with normal to oily or combination scalp who wants a sulfate-free shampoo focused on the scalp. Summary: ✔ Sulfate-free ✔ Cleans hair well ✔ Easy to apply and lathers just right ✖ Can feel a bit drying for hair that needs a lot of moisture #bylyko #lykoinflutester179 views - The post was made 5 daysRating: 3 out of 5verified customer
Pretty okay shampoo at a nice price ✨🧖🏼♀️
As #lykoinflutester I have tested the Pure Cure Scalp Shampoo #bylyko, and my first impression is positive ✨ The bottle is nice, it smells lovely, and the shampoo lathers well 🫧😍 I have fine, Nordic, and striped hair, which easily gets oily at the scalp, while the lengths and ends can quickly become a bit dry. After a few days of use, I think the product is pretty okay 😊 It is gentle on the scalp and pleasant to use, but so far I haven't noticed any major changes, either positive or negative. My hair still gets oily again by the end of the day, but that's actually quite normal for me with most shampoos 🙈 At the same time, I notice that the ends feel a bit straw-like and drier than usual, so a leave-in product is a must for me 💆♀️✨ All in all, this is a nice product that feels good to use, but without the big wow effect so far 💭 The price, however, is very good 🤩💸 Pros: smells lovely, lathers well, gentle on the scalp, nice price ✨ Cons: hair gets oily again quickly, ends can feel drier 💭 #LYKOINFLUTESTER #BYLYKO88 views - The user's roll: Lyko Creator. Positively Surprised
As #lykoinflutester I have tested the Pure Cure Scalp Shampoo #bylyko and I am really satisfied! Positively surprised by this. The shampoo comes in a simple and nice green bottle, I really like the color💚 I might wish that the products came in a pump bottle instead so it would be a bit easier to dose, but otherwise there is nothing to complain about the packaging. It is still economical even without a pump, as you only need a small amount and it lathers well. The bottle comes in 250 ml, which is a perfect size for most things, but I would have liked it to be available in a larger size as well😀 The shampoo has a light and quite liquid consistency that is easy to distribute in the hair, but I think it might be a bit too liquid as I prefer a slightly thicker consistency so it is a bit easier not to use so much. It has a mild and pleasant scent, which is nice for those who are sensitive to smells. I notice right away, after the first use, that my scalp feels better and the itchiness that easily arises after washing my hair due to sensitivity is not there, and my hair feels clean. I think my hair stayed clean for several days afterwards, which surprised me the most since I usually get oily hair very quickly, already the next day or after a maximum of two days it has to be washed again, but with this shampoo it actually lasted 3-4 days before it got oily. It also seems that this series is very mild on my scalp as I have a sensitive scalp that easily itches and flakes, and I have experienced less itching and flaking since I started using this. So my scalp loved this.😍 I washed my hair every other day with 2 rounds of shampooing and also conditioner afterwards, and even though I used the conditioner, I think it made my hair drier in the long run, so I would probably have used a hair mask once a week in addition, but that is the only negative I found, and after testing this for several weeks now, I am satisfied and would therefore really recommend this shampoo, and not least it is really good for the price it has😍❤️64 views - The post was made 6 daysRating: 3 out of 5Verifierad testare
Totally OK
I got to test this shampoo from Lyko's brand. I have a pretty dry, flaky, and irritated scalp, and when I tried this product, I hoped it would help. The bottle and design are really good, I liked the green color and it was a cute little bottle :) The scent is mild and fresh, reminds me of head&shoulders👌 Two rounds with the shampoo and after that, when I blow-dried my hair, I noticed a difference in how my hair was.. it actually became drier and wasn't as pleasant as I thought it would be. My hair didn't feel as airy and light as I'm used to (I have VERY long hair, 1 meter long/down to my butt) It's probably just that I react to it, and that's totally okay. Good to know, but cool to try new shampoo! For me, it's probably a product that I would recommend to others, but for me, I will probably use it in an emergency. Thanks to #lyko for letting me try the product, and I look forward to other tests✨ #bylyko #lykoinflutester66 views - The post was made 6 daysRating: 4 out of 5Verifierad testare
Do the job
As #lykoinflutester I have tested different products for scalp problems, and it has been exciting to see what kind of products actually work for my hair. A bit about my hair: shoulder-length fine hair, I struggle with scalp problems due to seborrheic eczema that can cause itching and dandruff. Shampoo and conditioner both come in a simple and nice bottle, I really like the color💚 I might wish that the products came in a pump bottle instead. I would also have liked, for example, a color stripe on both products on the cap of the bottle. Then you can immediately see what is conditioner and what is shampoo. You can see that there is a faint green over the text Conditioner, but it is not very visible. The shampoo has a nice and light consistency that is easy to distribute in the hair, but I think it is very runny for a shampoo, I had hoped for a slightly thicker consistency. Mild and pleasant scent that is nice for those who are sensitive to smell. I think my hair stayed nice and clean for several days afterwards, which surprised me as I usually get oily hair after a few days (attaching a picture of my hair 3 days later). It seems that this series is very gentle on my scalp, I have had less itching and dandruff since I started. I think #bylyko has done a good job with this series👏🏼 I have used the shampoo every day and have unfortunately noticed that my hair has become a bit extra dry after use, the hair felt almost a bit porous🤔 I do not usually struggle with dry hair. For my part, I will use the product 1-2 times a week as I am satisfied with the series. But I would recommend a good hair treatment after use. Sulfate-free and good price🤩 All in all 4 stars⭐️ Lyko's series for scalp problems is the best I have tested so far. But I have to deduct points due to dry hair and a few minor issues with the bottle.344 views - The post was made 6 daysRating: 3 out of 5Verifierad testare
Pretty okay shampoo for the price
Sleek and handy packaging. The shampoo smells really fresh without being intense. It’s also relatively economical, so a little goes a long way. I have periodically irritated scalp, especially during the winter months. With the shampoo, my hair feels clean and my scalp feels good, but I find that my hair gets a bit frizzier than I’d like. This is also in combination with the conditioner from the same line. I feel like I’ve had to compensate with extra styling to tame my hair. In summary, no full points from me, but it gets 3/5 for its benefits for the scalp and the really nice scent 💙 #lykoinflutester #bylyko67 views - The post was made 1 weekRating: 3 out of 5Verifierad testare
Good and cheap, but....
I have been a test subject for Lyko's new hair series and was mildly excited since the previous one wasn't for me🤷♀️ I can start with my hair..... Medium length, remnants of highlights/balayage at the ends, coarse and thick hair strands, but I occasionally have some atopic issues on my scalp... like itching, dry and tight/irritated scalp that makes me lose some hair due to itching or reactions to hair care..... but for the most part, it keeps it in check🙏 I am 43 years old, so probably some age-related factors in the picture as well🤪🤷♀️🤭 The first impression of the bottles is that you can see it's budget-friendly...... not such a nice color in my opinion...... I also think that such stubby small round hard bottles are really Pain🥴 just clumsy, I wish for pump bottles. Smells fresh and good, but it's so mild that it disappears quickly. The shampoo is thin in consistency, so I immediately understand that I will definitely have to wash my hair 2-3 times before it feels clean, and test with 2 times first, then on the following conditioner (separate review), and already the next day I felt like I needed a wash..... so at the next shower, it became 3 rounds with shampoo..... so it's not economical in use. Already in the shower, the hair becomes straggly, I can hardly touch it to avoid pulling out hair.... so distributing the conditioner becomes very clumsy as it feels like everything just can't detangle and just runs off.... and I never have tangles because my hair is so coarse and thick.. But once it was washed properly, I could easily go 2 days without it feeling lr so dirty👌👍 meeeen..... only after a few hours does the scalp react with itching and the hair becomes completely "wild" and static..... The ends didn't handle it well and they were still stiff and dry days later, so I'm not tempted to do another round with this series🫠 Nice shine for those with matte hair!! I think this is better suited for those with slightly shorter hair who cut it more often, oily hair, maybe even those who get pimples/impurities on the scalp. Even though the price is good, I personally notice it, but if it had done more for the hair itself, it would have been gold for those who wash their hair every day..... but I do not recommend this for daily washing!!!!! #lykoinflutester #bylyko35 views - The post was made 1 weekRating: 4 out of 5Verifierad testare
Lovely shampoo!
As #lykoinflutester I have tried Pure Cure Scalp Shampoo #bylyko and I am really satisfied! The shampoo comes in a lovely lime green plastic bottle. It is quite thin and runny, so you have to be a bit careful so that too much product doesn't spill out. The scent is lightly floral-citrus with an undertone of bubble-gum. I like the scent because it is so light, it doesn't overpower at all. The shampoo lathers well with thick white foam. Feels economical, a little dollop is enough. My hair is dry, short-cut with thin, fine strands. The scalp is sensitive and easily irritated, and I easily get dry patches with itching. However, I have neither oily hair nor dandruff. I notice right away, after the first use, that the scalp feels good. The usual itchiness after washing is not there, and the hair feels healthy and smooth. Unfortunately, the volume might be "so-so", but this is not a volumizing shampoo. I will use the shampoo now and then, as a treatment. I notice that if I use it several times a week, my hair becomes drier than usual. In summary: a really good shampoo that cures itching in the scalp but dries out a bit if used often. A cost-effective product that I recommend! - The post was made 1 weekRating: 3 out of 5Verifierad testare
Good for the scalp, but...
...unfortunately not for my hair. 👋Thanks to LYKO for this test of By LykoPure CureScalp Shampoo! This is a perfectly fine budget shampoo for those of you who have dandruff and a dry scalp, something I have at times. During the testing period, I had no particular major outbreaks, but I noticed that my scalp became clean and nice. So in that sense, it absolutely did its job! 🌸🌸The scent was mild and gentle, actually reminded me a bit of the Eimi products. Pleasant, not strong in scent. But I have a couple of points of criticism that I unfortunately can't overlook: I have treated hair, and this shampoo left my hair very dry and straw-like. Yes, you usually use conditioner afterwards, and that usually fixes the problem. But this shampoo left my hair seriously dry, something I don't usually struggle with that much. I tend to choose shampoos that are a bit nourishing for the hair, but not too nourishing, as that can leave the scalp oilier the next day. But here my hair felt like straw after I rinsed it out well, and before I applied the conditioner. After air drying, the dry feeling persisted, and my hair became frizzy and difficult to manage. This is supposed to be sulfate-free, and I have a lot of experience with sulfate-free shampoos and like them a lot. Here I had to use a bit more shampoo than my usual shampoo. After using the conditioner from the same series (separate review), the problem with the “straw feeling” became somewhat less. But it was definitely not gone. My hair was simply not happy, even though the scalp was. So this series was probably not quite optimal for my treated hair. 👏But the positive was that I got a clean scalp without itching or other reactions. That's good! When I react to things, I notice it immediately, but here there was nothing to trace in that case. Great! But, and here's something I found a bit unfortunate. The shampoo is seriously very, very runny. I almost didn't manage to turn the bottle upside down before it just runs thin shampoo out. That is a bit disappointing, because it feels very diluted. That shampoo should be liquid is obvious, you have to get it out of the bottle. But here it felt like someone had poured water into the bottle to stretch it a bit. Conclusion on the shampoo? 👍Good for you if you have dandruff, oily, or slightly irritated scalp. Who doesn't need much moisture or a nourishing shampoo. 👍Mild and pleasant scent. 🤔Maybe not quite as good if you have hair like mine, which is a bit dry at the ends and needs more moisture due to treated/colored hair. 🤔The bottle is not good to use. It is hard to squeeze for someone like me, who is rheumatic. So even though the bottle looks nice, it is simply painful to use for me. It would have been better if it were flatter in design, or at least much softer. But since the shampoo runs out by itself, it solves itself in that sense...heh...🤭 The scalp felt clean and nice. And that's good in that sense! #LYKOINFLUTESTER #BYLYKO - The user's roll: Lyko Creator. The post was made 1 weekRating: 4 out of 5Verifierad testare
No more irritated scalp
As an influencer, I have received the Pure Cure Scalp Shampoo to test this time. As soon as I got the shampoo and conditioner from this series, I got eager and tried it right away. I have always had trouble with dry and itchy scalp. I have also had periods of eczema that have been bothersome. I have never had dandruff, only other scalp issues. Especially now during the cold winter temperatures. 🫧 First and foremost, the bottles are very nice and sleek. I love the green color. However, I do think the plastic is a bit too hard. Nothing that affects the dosing of the shampoo, but the conditioner was difficult to get product out of as you had to press quite hard (see separate review). ✨️ Soft and pleasant scent. Perfect for those who are a bit sensitive. Possibly it smells citrus as the description says, but in a sweeter variant. Regardless, it smells fantastic. 🫧 The shampoo has a rather runny consistency, so be careful with dosing. Well in the hair, it becomes a thick lather. When it comes to shampoos with thick lather, I usually dampen a bit during application to "fluff/air" the lather. This makes it easier to distribute the product evenly over the entire scalp without having to overdo it. ✨️ Cleans well. Does what a shampoo is supposed to do. Is mild and gentle on the scalp. 🫧 I can experience that my hair becomes a bit coarse if I use it several times in a row. So my tip is to alternate with a moisturizing shampoo in between. ✨️ My itchy scalp has actually become less since I started using Pure Cure Scalp regularly. Previously, my scalp could itch daily, especially in winter. After trying Pure Cure Scalp for a week, it now itches about every other to every 3rd day instead. Overall, an okay shampoo that I can definitely see myself having as a complement to my regular hair care routine. Just because it alleviates my itchiness in the scalp. #LYKOINFLUTESTER #BYLYKO - The post was made 1 weekRating: 5 out of 5Verifierad testare
Good and cheap
As #LYKOINFLUTESTER I have tested Pure Cure Scalp Shampoo & Pure Cure Scalp Conditioner #BYLYKO I have been testing for over 3 weeks now, showering 2-3 times a week. Here are my /- over these weeks. Cheap, feels like you get a lot for your money. Good product for the price. Little tugging, right after showering and throughout the day, and after a few days. I don’t know if it’s a coincidence, but I’m losing less hair. The scalp is soft and movable. Good and mild sweet scent. - Hard and wide bottle, sometimes hard to squeeze out. - Feeling of greasy hair after the 2nd day. But it doesn’t weigh down the hair, which is a ! 😁 The bottles will probably be empty here at home, my 12-year-old daughter also likes the products 😊 All in all satisfied, and would recommend further.58 views
