Very good product
I haven't tested this product for very long yet, but I already notice that it makes a difference to my hair! It feels softer, shinier, and much easier to manage. I also think the hair feels somewhat stronger. The product is very easy to distribute in the hair, has a short processing time, and smells super good 😍 It also seems very economical to use, so I think this bottle will last a long time. What distinguishes this new version from the old version? Is No 0 no longer needed as before?
In the previous version, you were supposed to prepare the hair with "No.0 Intensive Bond Building Hair Treatment"; is this no longer required in the new Plus version since it is not mentioned in the instructions? Is what No 0 did "built-in" in the new version? Previously, No.3 was often used for at least 10 minutes and could be followed by No.0 on dry hair as an extra intensive two-step treatment, while No.3 Plus is an updated formula that works on multiple types of broken bonds and provides both strengthening and more nourishing effects 🫧 The routine for Plus is simpler: dampen hair, squeeze out excess water, apply from mid-lengths to ends, leave on for 3 minutes, rinse out, shampoo and use conditioner as usual, and use approximately every other to every third wash. No.0 can still be used together with the old No.3 for a more intensive treatment, but Plus is not exactly the same as having No.0 “built-in,” but a new, more complete formula with simplified use. Overnight hair mask?
I have used the previous version 1-2 days a month as an overnight mask. Can I do the same with this one? Why should I shampoo after and not before? As I’ve learned, shampoo opens the hair strand, then you apply the mask, and when rinsing, finish with conditioner to close the hair strand again? The comment was made 1 monthHi Jess! 👋🏼😊 I totally understand how you think 🤍 Both water and shampoo affect the hair’s cuticle – water actually causes the hair strand, the cuticle, to open slightly, while shampoo cleans the hair and removes oils and any buildup from the hair’s surface. The great thing about Olaplex No.3 is that it’s a bit different from a regular hair mask. It’s a repairing treatment that works on the hair’s bonds, and therefore you want it to have the best possible conditions to work in the hair. If you have hair without much styling product or buildup, it’s enough to dampen the hair with water, apply No.3, then rinse out, shampoo, and finish with conditioner. However, if you use a lot of styling products, it’s good to shampoo first so the hair is properly clean before applying the treatment 😊 Regarding using it as an overnight mask, I totally understand why you think that way; many want to give their hair extra long time with a nourishing product. However, No.3 is designed to work for about 3–10 minutes, and a longer treatment time does not give a stronger repairing effect. Hope this gave a bit more clarity on how No.3 works compared to a traditional hair mask 🤍3 likes

Surprisingly good!
I was a bit skeptical about this new version of the iconic Olaplex No3, but surprisingly the results of this one were even better! The only thing I prefer more about the original is the texture of the product. The new formula is a bit thicker and harder to distribute through the hair.
