Fantastic caring product 👏👏
Redken rarely disappoints.. My hair, which is curly and thick, is hard to manage and hard to style. Frizz, dryness, and split ends that can be compared to a haystack out on a hot summer day 🤮 But Redken actually succeeded with what many other products have disappointed me over.. even products that are meant solely for frizzy hair have a hard time taming or nourishing my unruly hair. So, what benefits did I find in this product..? ●Less frizz! Hallelujah 👏 ●Visibly more shine ✨️ ●Softer and more manageable hair ●5-minute processing time! (Everything else takes a long time 😂) Did I find any downsides then..? Yes, I would call it a little luxury problem.. because my hair was so much softer (and rehydrated?) I had trouble with the styling holding when I curled my hair, for example. Normally, I don’t need to use texture sprays or similar, but now the hair was so soft that the styling fell apart quite quickly 🤭 One more thing I noticed was that I felt like my hair got greasy a little faster than usual.. not a big problem for me, but it might be good to know 😊 I would have posted before and after pictures if it weren’t for the fact that I’m in a period where I’m losing a lot of hair due to personal reasons. It wouldn’t give a fair representation of it then. But I promise you would have seen the difference! 🙏 I believe you would notice a significant difference in your hair quality over time when using this series. I have tested Redken Acidic Bonding Concentrate Shampoo, Acidic Bonding Concentrate Conditioner, and Acidic Bonding Concentrate 5-Min Mask together. Otherwise good scent, good bottle, and so on! Weighed my hair down and made it flat
🙋♀️ My hair I have dry medium long hair. It is not treated in any way. My hair is naturally wavy and it’s very thin/fine so it gets damaged and dry at the ends very easily. I use hair straightener almost daily. 🧴 The packaging This mask comes in an upside down tube. Which is very nice, because it’s super easy to get the product out. It also has nice holographic design on it. 👀 The texture and looks The product is pearly white in color. The consistency was surprising to me since it is runny. Usually all masks that I used before are much thicker, while this one was something between the shampoo and the conditioner when it comes to consistency. 👃 The smell Citrusy smell, like other products from this line. And yes, it lingers for a very long time in your hair. 🤔 My opinion I always used this mask after I used the shampoo from the same line. And just like the shampoo and conditioner from this line, I noticed the smell and AHA and citric acid. The smell is powerful and this is not for you if you’re sensitive to smells. The AHA and citric acid did nothing for me, and I don’t like that it basically exposed my scalp to extra sun damage. I didn’t get any benefits from this mask. I looked at the pictures on this products page here and these before and after pictures feel like they were reversed for me. My hair had volume and was neat before, and after use it felt frizzy and just flat. All of the volume I had was gone. I feel like this product is just too heavy for my fine and thin hair and was weighing it down horribly. Shine and Moisture!
This product is absolutely amazing for dry and frizzy hair, it provides a lot of moisture and makes the hair very shiny! I have an oily scalp and dry lengths (colored hair), for me the shampoo is a bit too heavy for my hair type, but this treatment and conditioner in the same series are just perfect for the lengths✨ The scent is nice, it lingers in the hair for a long time, and you really feel like you've done your hair a great service after this😍 The consistency is a bit creamy, and the product is therefore very concentrated, you only need a little bit to cover the lengths. #redken #lykoinflutester216 views - The post was made 1 weekRating: 4 out of 5Verifierad testare
Hair Mask
I have as #lykoinflutester tested some products from #redken and have now tried both shampoo, conditioner, and this hair mask for about 3 weeks. When it comes to the starting point, I would say that my hair is a bit on the drier side, highlighted, and thick with thinner hair strands. All of the products make a good impression on me. This hair mask makes my hair soft and very easy to comb. I don't feel like you need a lot of product for it to have an effect on the hair, which is a plus!! A big plus is also that it provides heat protection. The scent is a bit fruity, and it smells like a hair salon when you step out of the shower. However, I noticed the last time I used the shampoo, conditioner, and hair mask that my hair smelled a bit musty after a few days. I haven't experienced this with any product before, and I find it hard to say whether it's the product or something else that has caused this with my hair. Maybe someone else has experienced this? Overall, I think it's a great mask that really does what it promises. Acidic Bonding Concentrate 5-Min Mask
I have been so lucky to test Redken's "Acidic Bonding Concentrate" series. This is the treatment in the series, and the bottle states that you should use it once a week. The consistency is a bit creamier and runnier than the conditioner, and it looks almost glossy/shimmery when you take it in your hand (without there actually being mica or glitter in it). It has a whopping 16% Bonding Care Complex, so expectations were high. Even though I rinsed my hair well, my hair felt greasy and heavy as soon as it dried naturally. This surprised me a lot since I have fully bleached and very damaged hair. The second time I used it, however, I was more careful with the amount and rinsed it out even better, and got a lovely result. Be careful not to make the mistake of using conditioner before the treatment! If you use conditioner before the treatment, you close the cuticles of the hair strands, and since the molecules in the mask are smaller than in the conditioner, they won't be able to penetrate to treat the hair strand. Then you lose the full effect of the treatment. Something I must mention, since the products contain AHA (alpha hydroxy acid), it states on the bottle that the product may increase the skin's sensitivity to the sun. So if you use this regularly, it is actually wise to protect the scalp 🧢 Another thing to know is that Redken's "Bonding Care Complex" series is a combination of acidic pH (citric acid) + nourishing/sealing ingredients. So you don't need to use shampoo + conditioner/treatment together to "activate" anything. Gives hair moisture!
🪩 First impression: A sleek tube that feels professional. It might have been easier if it was designed differently. The scent is fresh and not too strong, which I appreciate very much! 🪩 Experience The consistency is a bit too runny. I would have appreciated it being a bit creamier, but it does its job. You can feel right away how the treatment nourishes the hair, and my hair really absorbs all the moisture. You have to take a little at a time in the hair and kind of press it into the hair. Be a little careful using it at the roots if you tend to get oily hair, then just use it on the lengths. :) 👩🏼🦱 My hair background: I have thick, wavy hair with fine strands that are both dry, damaged, and bleached. Intensive Care for Fragile Ends 🌿
I, as #lykoinflutester, have received this Acidic Bonding series from #redken to test for a few weeks. My hair consists of many ultra-thin strands that easily split and break. The mask therefore feels like a product that can provide that little extra when the hair needs more nourishment. It has a thick and quite sticky consistency, which makes it a bit more intense than the conditioner. 😍 Here I want to raise a warning finger ⚠️ do not use the mask on the entire hair, but concentrate on the ends. When I tried to apply it too high up, the hair felt almost like glue and heavy after washing. However, in the ends, it makes a big difference – the hair becomes soft, manageable, and feels stronger. Regarding the ingredients, the mask contains, just like the rest of the series, citric acid for pH balancing as well as proteins and amino acids that strengthen the hair's inner structure. For my thin strands, this is valuable, as they easily split and break. I use the mask with every wash (washing twice a week), but always in small amounts and only on the lengths. The packaging comes with a snap lid, which I find convenient in the shower. However, I would have wished for a slightly larger hole for the product – now I feel that you have to press quite hard to get the mask out. Maybe it's just my sample, but it makes the application a bit more cumbersome than necessary. In the long run, I notice that the ends stay healthier and do not break as easily. Great mask!
I have been so lucky to test 3 products from Redken's Acidic Bonding Concentrate line over a 3-week period. I have used this line before, back with the shampoo and conditioner, as well as the leave-in cream. This was shortly after it hit the US market, so nice to have a refresh! A bit about my hair: - Nordic, fine hair strands but a lot of hair. - long and naturally wavy - slightly damaged ends and wear due to bleaching (highlights) - little volume on top without help from styling products I actually have this mask standing in the shower permanently, it’s quick and easy to use, and effective. It comes in a practical squeeze tube, where you have to use a bit of force to get enough product out. Same scent as the rest of the line, though a bit milder. The product is creamy and easy to distribute in the hair, leaving it more manageable and soft. I recommend leaving it in the hair as long as possible, I think I get even better results that way. This is my favorite product from the line! Good product for my summer-stressed hair!
Redken has been a familiar brand to me for over twenty years, from my mom's hair care products to my own stylist's chair and from there to my own shower cabinet, which is why I believed from the start that the line could be a good match for my own hair based on previous experiences. I was right. The ABC line suited my hair excellently. I didn't really have the energy to focus on my hair during the summer, so a nourishing and repairing series was exactly what my hair needed after the summer. A little unsure about this
I have now tested this and the shampoo and conditioner in the same line as #lykoinflutester With this mask, I’m unfortunately a little unsure. Sometimes I like it, other times I don’t😅 I don’t know why, but I feel the result/feeling is different from time to time when I use it. I have colored/bleached, thick and damaged hair. The hair feels initially soft and nice afterwards, but sometimes I feel it gets a bit "stiff" after use. Very hard to explain. I don’t know if this is normal or if there’s something wrong with the product? If I had a bit more time, I might have figured out what I really think. I will continue to try and use it just to see. Redken Acidic Bonding Concentrate 5-Min Mask 250 ml
I have thin, Scandinavian blonde hair that is also damaged because I bleached and dyed it throughout my teenage years. Then I realized it wasn't sustainable, so now I just highlight it, but it's still damaged! The biggest problem I have is that a lot of my hair falls out when I brush it, and I have split ends. Recently, I've really tried to take care of my hair, and I feel like I've had fewer split ends, and this product really helps keep my hair healthy and fresh. My ends look healthier and aren't as dry. Both positive and negative is the runny consistency. The tube has a liiiitle hole, so you really have to squeeze to get anything out. But it makes it easier to apply in the hair and get it even with this consistency than if it were a sticky hair mask. I've tried using the mask only with shampoo and also with conditioner. It really is enough to just have it with the shampoo, but if you want SILKY SMOOTH hair, then use the conditioner after you've rinsed out the mask. I love the scent of this line, it's fresh and reminds me of grapefruit. Super hair mask for damaged hair!
I got to test this hair mask from #redken as #lykoinflutester along with Acidic Bonding Concentrate Shampoo and Conditioner ⭐️ I have bleached my hair with highlights for many years, and started last fall to dye my hair back to my natural hair color. My hair is therefore damaged, breaks easily, and I am slowly but surely working on taking care of it and rebuilding my hair again. This hair mask is supposed to help with just that - strengthen weak bonds and increase the hair's resilience 💆🏼♀️🧡 I used the hair mask between shampoo and conditioner. After washing my hair, I applied the mask and let it sit for anywhere from 5 minutes to 2 hours (I like to let it marinate a little extra, even though it might not be necessary 🧖🏼♀️). The mask is silky soft and easy to distribute in the hair to get it even! Many masks become sticky and hard to spread, but not this one. The packaging is practical with a tube, but I think the hole is a bit small, so you have to spend some time and effort to get enough out. This is probably fine for those who need a little less, as you don't waste as much 🩵 After the mask has been in for the desired time, I rinse it out and finish with conditioner. My hair is sooooo soft and easy to comb through afterwards! After using this for a few weeks, my hair already feels stronger and breaks less after washing 😍 I will definitely continue with this! What brings it down a bit for me is the smell, but it is absolutely manageable for the effect.352 views
