  I can't help but LOVE Idun Minerals mascaras 😍 the original Vatn in the color black has long been a must in the makeup bag - now the brown variant is also that 🤎 I posted a picture with and without mascara to show the difference - it's fantastic! Doesn't flake, doesn't smudge, and lasts for several days 😅 Yes, I admit...I'm TERRIBLE at washing off my makeup some days....but this is so gentle on my lashes that it doesn't matter much.

  Simple and nice

  Effective application with this and it gives an intense color. Easy to wash off and doesn't flake. The only downside is that it doesn't separate the lashes well enough, they easily clump together.

  Good formula, but...

  I've been using this for two weeks now and have really tested it in both tough weather and crying haha! The product stays on and comes off easily with warm water, LOVE IT! But I'm not happy with the applicator and think the lashes can quickly get a clumpy look if you're not careful. I've even ended up wiping the brush with paper before applying it to my lashes. I know there's one that isn't called volume, so that one might be better...

  Sustainability

  Is this as sustainable as, like, Maybelline Sky High Waterproof? I have short, straight lashes and this is the only one that has managed to hold the curl all day for me, but I'm tempted to try this! However, I'm unsure because of the 38° water, so I'm just wondering if that makes it a little "weaker"?

  Hey E I would say that if your lashes are hard to keep curled, Sky High's waterproof might be a bit more reliable. Because Idun can handle moisture but doesn't have the same extreme waterproof effect as Sky High, which is particularly good for holding curls Good luck and all the best

  Pretty but Crumbles

  The mascara gives beautiful lashes and is easy to wash off, but unfortunately it crumbles on me.

  First 38° mascara I've bought. Love love love❤️ This holds until you wash it off with water that's over 38 degrees. Doesn't flake a single bit. I usually don't buy brown mascara. But it's just sooooo pretty🤩 I highly recommend this.

  So so good!

  I got this mascara in a goodie bag and since then it's my only mascara. The lashes get long, have volume, and it lasts all day. Easy to wash off too.

  Nice color, good brush, easy to wash off

  My eternal hunt for the perfect brown, waterproof mascara has led me here! I was shocked when I applied it for the first time because so much product came out, but isn't that a pretty common mascara dilemma? I usually always go in with a little brow brush afterwards at the beginning. The color and brush are super good, it gives separation which is A and O for me. It's also easy to wash off. If there's anything it could do better, it would be to hold the curl on the lashes!

  Mascara on top

  I've had Lancome and Dior as favorites before, but this mascara is almost better than the more expensive products. It really lasts all day without smudging! I'm out for many hours every day at work, and I still look just as good!

  Love it!

  The mascara itself is a rich black color. It is applied with a rubber brush, which feels really rubbery, I have never used one before, so the first time I applied mascara to my eyelashes, it was a little bit strange. Would the mascara really wash off with just warmer water? I haven't tried it because it's completely irrelevant to me since I always use a face cleanser. After walking around with mascara all day, I did see a couple of mascara flakes on my cheeks in the evening, but they weren't really many, just a few. When I put on the mascara, it seemed like it didn't do anything special, but then I saw the before/after photos and realized I was wrong. Mascara really gives volume. What else I liked is that the eyelashes are not glued together, the brush separates them very nicely. I really liked the mascara, thinking about getting the full size.
