So we're doing another #LykoReview, this time a mascara I've seen so much of that it was time! 👀 My lashes are pretty long, but light so they don't show up unmade. 😅 But they are also terribly straight, so I really need the lift 👫 The tube is pretty, modern, and overall Maybelline New York 😉 The brush is a rubber variant with small spikes that easily separate the lashes to avoid clumpiness 🙌🏻 I chose the mascara in black, it covers well and I was surprised by its creation of both volume and length-definition 🤩 Another plus is that it doesn't transfer, neither on the eyelid nor below 👼 Trust me, it's a HUGE achievement for my hooded eyes 😳 👁Summary👁 ➕ The brush ➕ Doesn't transfer ➕/➖ The price I can see myself buying another when this one is finished, it gives me exactly what I need 🥤1 product in post ✨👁Sky high, baby👁✨12727 views - Most helpful negativeThe user's roll: Lyko Creator. Can't get the lashes to stay up
I was really excited to try this because the waterproof version is my go-to mascara! The brush is really nice to use since the "hairs" on the brush aren't too long, so you avoid applying too much product and getting a clumpy result. The lashes are well separated, and you can easily apply multiple layers without them sticking together. It dries quickly on the lashes but holds up well in the packaging and doesn't get ruined quickly. The only negative for me is definitely that this makes my lashes fall as soon as I apply it, so to speak. Now I also have lashes that are very light and struggle to hold a curl. Very good mascara🌟
Here you get a mascara that really makes your lashes long and black, I like to combine this with the golden telescopic for the best result!! The Sky High mascara makes your lashes separate and become full, which I like😍 A small downside of this is that I think it runs out quite fast. I, who wear mascara 6/7 days a week, experience that it gets a bit dry after about 4/5 weeks. Makes the eyes POP ⭐️
A mascara that really makes the green in my eyes pop. The color isn’t so obviously burgundy that others notice it, but it really highlights the eyes. I use it almost every day and think the durability is great. It doesn’t flake or smudge on the eyelids. The only downside is that it doesn’t keep the lashes curled for very long. But that’s not uncommon for mascaras that aren’t waterproof. I remove it easily with my regular makeup remover. My absolute all-time favorite. I've used this for 5 years, and tried a few different ones in between, but always come back to this one🥰 It applies so nicely without clumping, which other mascaras I've tried often do. The length you get from this mascara is crazy! I really like it, what would be the cherry on top is if it held the curl of the lashes. Spot on color!
I had the chance to test the Sky High mascara in the color True Brown as #lykoinflutester! The waterproof Sky High mascara is definitely my favorite and the only one I use and compare with. Still, I was very curious when the original came out in the color True Brown!🤎 I have very light features and low contrast, and I imagined that the brown color could give a softer look and be a bit less harsh. The color is spot on!🤎 As expected, I found that the brown color made the eyes look a bit softer and suited me better than the black does. Unfortunately, it can’t compare to how the waterproof version holds the lashes up. When I use an eyelash curler + Sky High, the lashes hold the curl and stand straight up! With this one, however, I could see the lashes drooping and standing straight forward, despite the curler. It almost looked like I didn’t have much mascara on at all. I can warmly recommend the waterproof type; it gets 5 stars from me! This one unfortunately doesn’t quite make it this time. Fingers crossed for a combo someday! Lash Sensational Sky High Mascara
Okay... I actually get why this mascara went viral. 👀 The first thing I noticed was that it gave my lashes really nice length. My lashes looked longer without getting super clumpy, and it was also easy to build up if you wanted a little extra drama. The result was pretty and separated, which I really like. **BUT...** can we talk about the brush for a moment? 😂 Every time I twist open the mascara, it feels like the applicator is going to break off. It’s very flexible, which is probably meant to reach all lashes, but for me it feels a bit stressful to use. I’m basically holding my breath every time I open it and think: *"Please survive one more time." I actually have no complaints about the formula itself – it makes lashes long and pretty and really lives up to the name *Sky High*. It’s just the applicator that brings the experience down a bit for me. **Rating: 4/5 ⭐** A really good mascara that gives nice length and pretty lashes.
