A good foundation with a nice glow!
I’m glad I got the chance to try this tinted serum from Rose Inc It gives a lovely glow while not being too shiny. I took a slightly darker shade than I usually do as spring is starting to approach. Even though I am much lighter now, I think it works since it is very easy to work into the skin with my fingers. If I use a foundation brush, the result is more coverage. I could easily see myself buying this, really so satisfied 🥰 ➕️ I love the consistency that leaves the skin hydrated. ➕️ Doesn’t get cakey. ➕️ Lasts all day ➕️ Doesn’t smell strong, fragrance-free? ➕️ Plastic bottle and doesn’t weigh much which I like. Easy to take with me. ➕️ Contains hyaluronic acid that smooths out lines and squalene to hydrate the skin and peptides that protect us from environmental damage. Exciting product
I have had the honor of testing some products from Rose inc, which for me is a completely new brand 😍 One of these products was this Tinted serum in the color 030. To start with, I would describe my skin as I would say is normal in skin type. It can sometimes get a bit drier in the winter and oilier in the summer, but overall no direct such problems. I can sometimes get a few blemishes. Regarding the product, I want to start by saying that I have not tested anything like this before! I thought this product seemed so incredibly exciting and being able to mix skincare and makeup in one? DREAM! When it comes to the product, they describe it as a radiance-giving serum with pigment. You should pump out the product on the back of your hand and activate it by mixing with a brush, so that’s what I did. It was very fun to see how the product transformed on the hand, but then when it was supposed to go on the face, it just... disappeared? 😅 I can absolutely see that I get a nice glow, but it really gave me zero color and barely evened out anything. I might not have had expectations before that it would give much coverage, but I still thought it would even out with my skin tone a bit, but I didn’t notice much difference.. if any? In the picture I uploaded, I have it on only the left side of my face, if you look closely you can see that that side is a bit more even with the color, but if you look quickly you see no difference at all and I think it shows better in the picture than in reality. I also experienced that you had to use a lot of product to get any form of coverage, so it will probably run out quickly. So for this price tag... Nja, I don’t think it’s worth it. So to summarize! A very fun and unique product. But I don’t think it gives any pigment at all, unfortunately. However, it gives a nice glow! So it could be nice to use under a regular foundation. Works for dry skin!
I have really dry and flaky skin. During the time I tried out Rose Inc's “Skin Enhance Luminous Tinted Serum,” I also had a lot of eczema around my nose after a cold (you can almost see it in the close-up of the makeup). Despite that, I think the product laid nicely on the skin. You can't get rid of textures from the skin; but when you're as dry as I am, you need a lot of moisture - and maybe not super high coverage. This product is really in the lightest degree; I would classify it just below the classic “tinted moisturizer” which still contributes a certain degree of coverage. Rose Inc's Serum was like a very light layer that corrected the skin tone in the face and blurred certain “imperfections” from the face. Not much more than that. Generally, I really like very light products, and that's why I also liked this one a lot. If you don't have any particular need to cover a lot, I think such a product is completely perfect for giving the skin that little lift, but without looking made up (I do have concealer on in the picture as well, which contributes a bit more coverage). What I felt - and if I'm being picky - is that I found the base a little “flat.” It was absolutely not dry, but I didn't feel that my skin felt as alive as it can with another base. It could also boil down to the poor quality of my skin during the time I tested the product. Then we have the price, which I think is quite high. The “corresponding” products from other brands are also very high, unfortunately, that's just how prices look today. Natural and nice finish
I have tested 4 products from Rose inc. over the last month. I haven't tried anything from this brand before and I'm very positive about what I've tested so far. Here come my reviews. For the other products, feel free to check out the respective product page 🌸 Moisture serum: 🖤 MY SKIN - Easily gets dry, which results in me getting oily - Easy to get pimples and clogged pores - Sensitive skin from time to time 🖤 PLUS - Convenient and easy-to-use packaging - Provides a very light coverage and nice glow - Works a bit like a hybrid product, as I feel you can build up the coverage if you want more. And a thinner layer gives a nice natural finish - Good durability - Works well with other products 🖤 MINUS - A bit difficult to use at first, but you eventually get used to the consistency, as it feels a bit watery. See attached picture! - Quite expensive - It was a bit hard to try to find the correct color on the website as I don't feel it was 100% in my case, but that doesn't affect the final rating 🖤 OVERALL OPINIONS I have used this x number of times now and I was so skeptical at first and couldn't understand how to use this, but the more I got into it, the more I found that I liked it. It is very easy to use, and for me, who goes to work very early, it is convenient to throw on as it goes so fast to work it in. In the picture, I only have this product on my face. I also find that the durability is good, I usually set this with powder and setting spray, and then it obviously lasts longer, but for a natural impression, this alone is a top product. It won't cover everything on the face, but it still works very well for minor redness and evens out nicely. I applied this with brush no.3 from rose inc, which I have also reviewed, and that is also what I found worked absolutely best. Nice glow, but no coverage
I was really excited about this, as I use tinted serum daily as a base for my makeup and have tested several different ones. It’s easy to apply and melts into the skin. The serum gives a nice glow, but unfortunately didn’t provide the desired effect for me. I wish it had a bit more coverage, as this serum at best only evens out the skin tone a little bit. For me, it almost looks like I’m not wearing any makeup at all. I therefore had to layer my usual tinted serum on top to achieve the desired coverage, as I don’t find that this product has buildable effect. For you who want a fresh glowing tint
The packaging is plastic, which can feel a bit cheap. But at the same time very light and easy to take on trips. I wouldn't say the packaging on this stands out in the market. I almost think the cardboard box it comes in was prettier. But I would say that in contrast to this, their packaging for e.g. their blush is really something to brag about, I wrote a review on that too. The consistency is incredibly light and feels like a serum. If you're looking for a foundation that covers, this is not for you. This will tone down a bit of redness, give glow/life to the skin, and create the illusion of not wearing makeup. There is only a hint of coverage. But perfect for the day you want to go with minimal makeup but still feel like your skin is glowing. Unfortunately, I feel that for my skin, which can get a bit oily in the T-zone, I feel the need to powder that area. It can also help with a concealer on the areas where you want more coverage. For example, their concealer is very good for covering (I wrote a review on this too). I applied it with a brush from the same brand, which I think did wonders, and I think circular motions worked best to blend it into the skin. I wouldn't recommend a beauty blender for this, rather a makeup brush. Note that if you have dry areas, I feel it doesn't blend nicely into those areas. But it laid very nicely on the soft areas of the face. I conclude that it is nice to use when you don't need a product with high coverage, and the skin doesn't have dry or acne-prone areas. Not for my skin
I have tested the Rose Inc Skin enhance Luminous tinted serum in the color 010. This is a serum that contains skin-loving ingredients that nourish the skin and provide glow while having color pigments that give a light coverage and even out the skin. I was very excited to try this as I usually am lucky to love light coverage and little makeup on my skin. My skin is Nordic, dry, and sensitive and quickly becomes extra dry and difficult in the winter, in addition to that I easily get perioral dermatitis. I find the packaging very appealing. I was impressed by the minimalist design that gave a very elegant impression. Truly my style. The pump bottle was easy to use. I applied the serum on clean skin with a foundation brush from the same series. The serum was transparent with encapsulated color pigments that were distributed on the skin with the brush, although it works just fine to use fingers as well. My impression was that it is light and comfortable to wear, evens out the skin tone lightly, and provides a very light coverage ability. What makes it not get a full score from me is that it settles a bit on the skin and looks a bit patchy. Moisturizing and Natural Glow
As a #lykoinflutester, I got to try Rose Inc’s Skin Enhance Luminous Tinted Serum in the shade 050, a product I’ve been looking forward to testing. I generally have very dry skin and therefore use both jojoba oil and moisturizing face cream in my skincare routine daily. In my daily makeup routine, I also use almost exclusively products that are in either cream or liquid form, and have thus tested quite a few different ones from various brands. In terms of shade, I chose a product that might be on the edge of being too warm in tone for how my skin tone is here in winter when I haven’t seen the sun for a while, but otherwise good considering how light it is. What I especially appreciate about this product is how light and moisturizing it feels on the skin. It gives a nice glow and lasts throughout the day without starting to feel dry, and the result feels very alive and natural. When I have applied it, I have tested it in two ways. One way is to pump the product onto the back of my hand and then swirl the brush (No. 3 Foundation Brush also from Rose Inc) on the product to activate the pigment before applying it to my face. The other way is that I have pumped the product directly onto the brush and then swirled it on my face to activate and apply the product. The latter method is the one I have mainly stuck to. The reason for this is that I found it required more product in the first step, and the result was just as nice regardless. Personally, it is a bit pricey for my wallet, but I still think it is worth its price considering it contains skincare products and feels high quality. Like your skin, but better 😍
✨ First impression I like the pump! The design is simple, maybe a bit on the boring side, but I understand why it’s transparent so you can see the beautiful contents 🤩 The first time I tried just the serum, I was a bit surprised. I had to use 4 pumps to get the coverage I wanted, which I usually get with my foundation. Not particularly economical. And I don’t actually want it to be particularly covering, just not red cheeks 🤷🏻♀️😅🍎 ✨ What I later realized is that you actually can’t directly compare it to a foundation since it also has fantastic skincare properties 🤩 ✨ 🧡 About me I have dry skin that leans towards sensitive. I usually choose base products that are moisturizing and give glow. I want my foundation to reduce my redness but still let my skin shine through. 🏵️ My thoughts and experiences "Skin Enhanced Luminous Tinted Serum" as it’s called, I really think is a perfect description of it! 👌🏻 Personally, I would describe it more as a Tinted Serum rather than a foundation. It’s wrong to compare it and expect it to be like a foundation (which I first did) when it’s so much more than that 🙌🏻 I’ve gone from being a full coverage girl to someone who actually wants it to look very natural. It magically melts into the skin and softens in a really nice way, I’m super impressed! 🫶🏻 If/when I have extra flushed cheeks, it’s not quite enough, so I have to use concealer for extra coverage ☺️ But more and more I appreciate my own skin and have actually started to think it’s nice for a little redness to shine through on my cheeks and chin sometimes. Natural Result
I have tested Rose Inc's Skin Enhance Luminous Tinted Serum in the shade 050 (Medium Skin Tone/Pink Undertone), and I am incredibly satisfied! A big plus is that there are so many different color variants; both cool, warm, and neutral. 🧸DESIGN AND PACKAGING🧸 The product comes in a sleek and slim container with a pump function. The container itself seems to be made of glass (with a plastic pump on top), which makes the product exclusive and likely improves the quality of the product itself. It is also easy to control the amount of product using the pump. 🧸CONSISTENCY AND EASE OF USE🧸 The product is a combination of a glossy serum as a base, with color pearls in it. I have personally pumped the product onto the back of my hand to blend it before application, which also makes it easier to adjust the amount and distribution of the product. Furthermore, I have used a foundation brush for application on the face and gone over with a beauty blender as the final touch. The coverage of the product varies somewhat depending on the amount of product applied, but originally has light coverage. Therefore, the product will not be able to cover inflamed pimples and similar. Otherwise, the product feels light on the skin and is easy to apply evenly, as well as easy to build up if one desires a more even skin tone and slightly better coverage. 🧸RESULT🧸 No matter how much product you apply, the product melts into the skin and gives a very natural result. The skin gets a very nice and natural glow, without it being very visible that you are wearing makeup. Unfortunately, the product can dry out a bit and flake if you go over it too many times with the makeup brush, especially in areas where you have dry skin or sores/imperfections. Fortunately, this settles down throughout the day, as the product gets to sit properly on the skin. 🧸CONCLUSION🧸 Overall, I am incredibly satisfied with the product and will probably buy it again when I run out. The product suits my skin type very well (combination, sensitive, and acne-prone), as I have often struggled with makeup settling unevenly and patchy. NOTE: It is somewhat difficult to assess which color one should buy, as I personally experienced that it became a bit darker than initially assumed. Really nice and gives glow
I have tried the Rose Inc Skin Enhance Luminous Tinted Serum in the shade 060. I think it is a good choice for dry skin, especially in winter. As a tinted serum, it not only provides light coverage but also a healthy, natural glow. It evens out the skin tone and adds good moisture without highlighting dry areas, which many foundations often do on dry skin, in my own experience. It feels light and comfortable on the skin, but should be applied with a foundation brush for best results – using fingers does not give as even a finish. Especially with Rose Inc's own brush, the result is flawless. A really nice hybrid between skincare and makeup that gives a super nice, hydrated look. Rose inc tinted serum🏷️
As a #lykoinflutester, I have been trying the brand #roseinc for the last three weeks. I had not heard of or been familiar with products from this brand before. As the name suggests, this is a tinted serum, the intention is not for it to be fully covering. Personally, I like light/medium coverage for work, and good coverage for other occasions. This serum was too thin in consistency for my taste. What I liked about it is that when you apply it to your face, the small bubbles of color burst and blend with the serum itself. It makes you feel like you have hydrated skin!
