Perfect upgrade for fine Scandinavian hair
I switched to this from Maria Nila's True Soft because I understood that this is supposed to be a lighter oil – and that’s really true! It fits my fine Scandinavian hair perfectly. The hair becomes incredibly soft and gets a beautiful glow without feeling heavy or flat at all. Also, it smells absolutely fantastic, a nicely balanced sweet and fresh scent at the same time. Maria Nila Healing Cica Oil is truly one of those hair products I like to keep close at hand when my lengths need a little extra care. 🤍 I like to use hair oil because my hair can easily feel dry and frizzy, but I’m also quite picky about the feel. I want softness and shine without the hair becoming heavy, greasy, or losing its natural movement. That’s why I really like how easy it is to adjust the amount with this one. I usually start with just a few drops and work the oil into the lengths and especially the ends. It’s really one of those products where a little goes a long way. Once I’ve distributed it through my hair, the lengths feel softer and more manageable, and I think the hair gets a much nicer surface. ✨ What I appreciate most is the shine. I love when hair looks healthy and well cared for, and I think a little oil can make a huge difference to the overall impression. Especially after styling, I can use a small amount to make the lengths look a bit more polished. It’s that final little touch that makes the hairstyle feel complete. I also find it works well when my hair feels a bit frizzy. I don’t need to use a lot to tame flyaways and make the lengths look more gathered. At the same time, I like that my waves can still move naturally. That’s important to me – I don’t want my hair to feel stiff or weighed down just because I’ve used oil. 🌸 I can use it both after washing my hair and between washes when the lengths feel dry. TERRIBLE SCENT
Hard to say if it’s this product that makes my hair feel softer, as I was also trying a new shampoo and a new hair mask at the same time. But the oil itself feels good, it at least didn’t weigh my hair down. I have curly, frizzy but very fine hair strands. The oil does not help tame my frizzy hair though. A big minus is the scent, I expected a fresh lovely citrus scent. But it smells terrible, like a nasty passion fruit toilet spray. Not pleasant to smell like a bad toilet spray in your hair. This oil is perfect, it is light and provides good moisture. The hair becomes incredibly soft and really doesn’t weigh your hair down. I would say it suits all hair types but maybe more a fine Scandinavian hair since thick hair might require a slightly richer oil! But if you want a light oil that does its job and is really easy to work with and gives an incredible GLOW!! Buy it A big plus is that it smells incredibly good!! The hair becomes so incredibly smooth and soft right after application, and the best part is that it feels so light in the hair. I have tried this amazing hair oil and honestly… I am so impressed. I have quite thick hair and have always had trouble finding a hair oil that doesn’t just sit on top as a layer and feel heavy or sticky. But this one is different. It’s super light in texture and really absorbs into the hair instead of just sitting on the surface. My hair feels soft, moisturized, and much less frizzy without losing volume, which usually happens to me immediately with heavier oils.
