Bubble colossal mascara
This mascara gave really good volume and separated my lashes nicely, even though the brush is a bit thicker than regular mascaras. 🖤 Voluminous lashes with really lots of effect 🖤
Maybelline The Colossal Bubble Mascara in Very Black is truly a mascara for the days when I want my lashes to stand out a little extra. I love when mascara can make a big difference for the whole eye look, and this one gives exactly that more intense feeling I like when I want the eyes to be the focus. ✨ What I liked the most is the volume. I think the lashes get a fuller and more defined expression, which is perfect when I want a slightly more dramatic makeup. At the same time, I like that I can build up the result step by step instead of needing to get maximum effect right away. I usually start with one coat and then add more where I want extra volume. It looks especially nice when I do a more complete eye makeup with eyeliner or eyeshadow, because really black and defined lashes really tie the whole look together. 🖤 Very Black is also a big favorite of mine. I really like a mascara that gives an intense black color and makes the lashes more prominent. Even when I have quite simple makeup, I think a little mascara can make the whole face look more put together. I also appreciate that the brush makes it easy to work through the lashes. I want to be able to reach both the longer lashes and the smaller ones at the outer corner of the eye without it becoming a big project. Once I get the technique down, I think it goes quickly to build up the look I want. 👀✨ Another thing I like is that it suits so many different looks. One day I can use one coat for a more everyday feel and the next day build up properly for a more glamorous look. That means I don’t feel limited to just one type of makeup. Maybelline has really succeeded in making a mascara that feels fun when you want more volume and intensity. 💕 I think it’s perfect to bring out when I want the lashes to be one of the first things you notice. For me, The Colossal Bubble Mascara is a really lovely volumizing mascara with an intense black color and lots of potential to build up. Beautifully thickens and curls the lashes, gives a super effect and really does the job. You just have to know how to work with it, preferably wipe off the excess product from the brush so you don’t apply too much. Panda Eyes
This mascara looks absolutely amazing for about an hour. Then it starts to smudge both above and below the eyes. By the end of the day, I have black dots all over my face because it flakes so much. Hand on heart, the BEST mascara I have tested in my 31 trips around the sun!! New favorite 🖤 At a reasonable price too. Top product! ⭐ I feel compelled to leave a fair review since I saw quite a few half-hearted reviews with terrible pictures of poorly applied (!!) mascara. NO mascara can protect us from terrible technique. Anyone who, despite this five-star formula and phenomenal brush, fails to achieve a five-star result needs to reassess their technique. Attaching a picture of one of my eyes on a completely ordinary work morning. I think it’s magic myself, just imagine how nice it could be on a Saturday night if you add a lash curler, a little more time, and some eyeliner. Undoubtedly five stars from me. If I really have to squeeze out a downside, I think it might transfer a little on my eyelids if I haven’t made them up. But (!) Wishing this became a new favorite but unfortunately not!!
Awww what a disappointment unfortunately… had such high hopes for this since my absolute favorite mascara is “lash sensational intense black”. I love the brush and the both easy application and featherlight feeling it gives, but I don’t know if I have too long lashes or just bad luck because I looked like a panda after 30 minutes!! I’ve tested it several times just in hopes that it would work for me but unfortunately I’ll probably have to give up sadly.. so sad!! Maybe it works for someone else but unfortunately not for me. I like everything except the longevity which in my opinion is among the most important. Nice packaging too but so sad that it didn’t suit me! I had a mascara that I liked but had the same problem. I tried powdering beforehand and it helped!

Too clumpy
Not my favorite mascara unfortunately. It was hard to work with as the brush is a bit large. The mascara gave an effect of voluminous lashes, but a bit too clumpy for my taste. I usually use waterproof mascara and "light" as my lashes are thin and short. But fun to try something different! A bit clumpy, don’t love it
I usually like volumizing mascaras but this one felt so.. clumpy. It was both clumpy to work with, but also clumpy because the brush is a bit big (for my taste). The formula of the mascara itself is quite okay, it’s creamy and soft but since I don’t like how the mascara applies, I give (2.5 ~)3 /5 stars in my rating!
