Good first step in the morning
I have had the chance to try some products from no7, and one of the products is these soothing pads. But first about my skin: I would say I have a normal skin type. It can get a bit drier in winter and a bit oilier in summer, but overall normal. Sometimes I get a few small pimples. I tend to think that this type of skincare products is a bit "unnecessary" and not something I usually reach for; I prefer a regular toner or serum with the same ingredients! Easier to bring along if you’re traveling too. When it comes to pre-made pads, they often take up too much space in my bathroom cabinet and therefore end up in a strange place and get forgotten 😅 But about the product: I like that it comes with tweezers which makes it more hygienic, and it has a good lid that is easy to open and close but keeps the pads moisturized. The pads themselves are perfectly moisturized in my opinion! They are moist enough and large enough to cover the whole face and neck, but they are not so wet that the product drips. It’s easy to apply, and the skin feels moisturized and nice… but I don’t notice much more difference than that (yet). I usually don’t wash my face in the morning, so I have preferred to use these in the morning as a first step as a light "cleanse" and to soothe the skin. I like that they are pre-made pads because I usually prefer to use my regular toner with a pad in the morning anyway, as it feels like it removes some "dirt" from the face when you don’t wash it. Since they themselves recommend using it 2-3 times a week, I have done that, and on the other days just used my regular toner. So to sum up: my first thought was that it feels unnecessary, but I have liked it more than I thought! Especially in the morning as a first step. They moisturize and the skin feels fresh but I don’t notice more than that. Unfortunately a somewhat pointless product
I have to say that I find this product a bit unnecessary. These are moist wipes intended to soothe the skin after washing. I have tried to use the wipes after every facial cleansing, but unfortunately, I have not noticed any effect from using them. I have fairly easily irritated and red facial skin myself, so I had high hopes for this product based on its description. The wipes themselves are, in my opinion, in a very functional container. The container is sturdy and has a closing lid, which keeps the wipes moist. The package also includes tweezers to improve hygiene, but I found them a bit tricky to use. In summary; a somewhat unnecessary product that I did not notice any effect from using. I will use up the wipes since I did not experience any negative effects either. Lovely feeling on the skin!
I got to try this product from #lykoinflutester #no7, here’s what I think 🌸 Really like the packaging! Feels sturdy and looks very nice in the bathroom cabinet. Big plus that it came with a small tweezer, so it’s always with it and makes it easy to keep the product fresh ✨ You get a lot of product for the money since they are thin sheets! I think the product itself soothes the skin and feels fresh. Like to use this as a step after washing to prep for other products, feels like it restores and balances the skin. The product doesn’t do anything revolutionary or give a “wow” feeling, but it’s not that kind of product either. Feels luxurious!
As a #lykoinflutester, I've had the chance to try various skincare products from the brand #no7. This is not a brand I've tried before, so super fun to try something new! This review is for their Calm fix soothing pads 🧖🏼♀️ I really like this type of product, it feels luxurious and gives a spa feeling! These pads focus on calming and moisturizing the skin. First impression is the packaging, super cute pink, and it comes with a small tweezer to pick up the pads which feels hygienic! Overall, I don't feel strongly positive or negative about these, they don't make a big difference on the skin but personally, I feel they give a luxurious feeling! The pads feel wonderful on the skin and have no strong scent, which I really appreciate. Cool product
As a #lykoinflutester, I got to test three products from #no7. Now it's time for a review of the Calm fix soothing pads. These pads are soaked with Cica extract and Niacinamide, which are supposed to soothe and hydrate the skin and should be used after cleansing but before other products. I find it nice to use these; it's a fun step in my routine, but I can't really say I notice any difference in my skin, maybe a bit more hydrated but unfortunately not more than that. The pads are well soaked with product, which is positive; one pad is enough for face, neck, and décolleté. The jar is quite large with a snap lid, which is convenient, but it's hard to store the jar nicely because of its size. Inside the jar, there is a plastic tweezer meant to help pick out a pad; the tweezer is flimsy and not very sturdy, so it's hard to use it—it tends to bend, so I end up picking up a pad with my fingers instead. Moisturizing and nice glow✨
This time I've been so lucky to test #no7 Good Intent Calm Fix Soothing Pads🥰 The pads come in a nice pink box with a small plastic tweezers so you can pick up exactly the one wipe you need. It's more hygienic and you get a better grip on the product with these. The wipes provide so much moisture, glow, and hydrated skin🤩 After a long winter with dry skin, I notice that this is exactly what my skin needs. A big advantage of the product is that it is fragrance-free and gentle on the skin. It doesn't irritate and feels comfortable upon application. If I could wish for one more thing with these, it would be even more moisture. They give me what I need, but they could have provided a bit more for the price. Not an essential product, but not unnecessary either!
I received No7's Good Intent Calm Fix Soothing Pads to test from Lyko. 🩷 I am 37 years old, so my skin is already aging, and I especially have dry skin in the winter. I have used similar products a bit, but they tend to end up forgotten at the back of the cupboard. How did these pads perform? 🧐 The product's pink packaging is definitely not a minus for me. 😉💕 The included tweezers, however, are just as useful as nothing: they don't fit in my hand and keep falling off the lid of the pads. That doesn't matter, you can easily take the pads out with your fingers. 🤌🏼 I like that these “cotton pads” are not soaking wet with product, but are pleasant to take out of the packaging and use without making a mess in the whole bathroom. 👌🏼 At first, I thought these would also end up sitting on the shelf, but to my surprise, I have used them every night as the last step in my face cleansing and in the morning before skincare. Smooth and good!
There are so many pads that I love + that the jar comes with a small tweezers so it feels hygienic. I am quite dry and red-skinned and think this calms the skin. I don't like strong cleansers in the morning because my skin is so dry, so instead I've swiped a pad in the morning which both cleanses, calms, and preps it for makeup without drying it out.139 views
