For me, blush is one of those products that can transform an entire makeup look, even when the rest of the makeup is quite simple. What I like about this type of liquid blush is that I can customize the result exactly to the feeling I want. Some days I just want a subtle color that gives my face a bit of life, while other days I like to go for more defined, rosy cheeks. With Dragon Fruit Drip, I enjoy being able to build up the color step by step and decide for myself how intense the look should be. 🌸 I usually apply a small amount to my cheeks and then blend it out with a brush or makeup sponge. I prefer to start gently and add more as needed because I find it gives the best control over the final result. It’s also an easy way to make the blush melt into the rest of the base so the makeup looks soft and well thought out. What I really appreciate is how much difference a little color on the cheeks can make. Even if I only use concealer, mascara, and something simple on my lips, the blush can give my whole face a completely different energy. FINALLY a blush that is actually cool! 💜
I am very fair with a cool/gray olive undertone, and almost all blushes somehow end up looking warm, peachy, or orange on me, even many marketed as cool. Blueberry Burst is therefore a bullseye. The purple tone might look intense in the packaging, but on the skin it becomes incredibly beautiful and gives me exactly the cool, fresh tone I've been looking for. Plus, it's easy to apply and build up without it being too much right away. It has become one of those products I genuinely don't want to be without. Very dissatisfied!
It is a very nice color and blends very well into the skin. However, I am very dissatisfied because many of my clothes have gotten stains due to product always flying out every time I open it. I think the problem is partly the packaging but also how runny the product is. I continued to use it anyway because I liked how nice it looked, but I learned my lesson the last time when it ruined my bedsheets! I have thrown it away now.
