Sustainable, Beautiful Result!
I’ve been tasked with testing The Face Glue Primer - This one delivers on its promises. The makeup sits so beautifully! Lasts all day. I’ve used this before. Nice, smooth tube. Positively Surprised
I got to test this primer through Smartson. I was skeptical about a primer that is supposed to create so much grip between the skin and the makeup since I have relatively dry skin with very dry areas. But the product worked beyond expectations. It was possible to apply it over a relatively thick skincare surface without it crumbling or disturbing the skincare. All the makeup laid beautifully over the primer and didn't gather around my dry patches on my face. The makeup holds up really well throughout the day. NYX - THE FACE GLUE PRIMER
I tried the NYX face glue primer with complementary products: make em Wonder foundation 08 vanilla, jelly job shinegloss 05 honey, lip lingerine cool Brown, and nyx the face glue settingspray. (And mascara.) I have never tested the face glue primer before, but Wow! What a result! The makeup has stayed on all day without me needing to touch it up, except for the lipgloss. I can strongly recommend the "glue" and the settingspray. The foundation covered well and gave a nice result. I like the pencil and the lipgloss, but I will buy another shade as this one was a bit dark for me. Highly recommend these products! Maximum Grip, Pure Sustainability
The Face Glue Primer is a product where the amount really matters. The first time I applied too much and found it to be drying, even though the grip ability was impressive. With a smaller amount, it works significantly better. It glides easily over the skin, dries quickly, and leaves a clearly sticky surface that makes foundation adhere properly and stay in place all day. However, it does not contribute to any visible evening out of texture or extra glow. This is a primer with a clear purpose, maximum durability, and it delivers on that. More of a glow product than a primer
I don't think this works as a primer. A primer should make the skin silky smooth so you can apply makeup on top. The only thing you can apply after using this is liquid foundation, absolutely no powder because it gets stuck then. Very sticky and irritates the skin. Above Expectation
I was very positively surprised at the first application, the primer was very moisturizing and also gave a nice glow to the base. I was afraid it would crumble my foundation, but it didn't, and the result was really nice while the makeup lasted all day. I really recommend it! Sustainable and affordable
Easy to apply as a base on the face, it feels neither sticky nor lays on your skin like a shell! Can be used all over the face. I had this on during the weekend for an outdoor day with activities until the evening, when I came inside the makeup was still looking great and definitely something I recommend and will continue to use! I, who have dry skin, found this to be very good as it moisturized my skin for a very long period. I didn't feel dry at all and the makeup stayed in place the whole evening/night! I didn't think it was sticky at all! Glue, yes glue!!!
This product really does what it’s supposed to. I was initially skeptical when I felt the consistency because it felt very sticky. But when I applied it and put my products on top, the sticky feeling disappeared. I also did the ultimate test when I was at the spa – I steamed and dipped my face in water, and my makeup held. I’ve always had a hard time finding a good primer, but this one was definitely it. It gets one star less because my skin felt very tight after using it, but I still thought it was worth it.
