When used right, it's perfect
I would recommend watching a video on how to use this before rating it but I simply love this product. A little goes a looong way so clearly an investment that's worth it, and my hair is very thick. Will be repurchasing!1 product in post When used right, it's perfect244 viewsto leave a comment - 2 days
Olaplex 3 - In what order together with mask, shampoo, and conditioner?
Olaplex 3 - I wonder about the order together with mask, shampoo, and conditioner? Is it this: First, wet the hair with water, apply a generous amount of Olaplex No.3. Distribute evenly in the damp hair and let it sit for at least 10 minutes, but preferably longer. Up to 30 minutes gives a good effect, but I usually leave it in for an hour. 👍🤩 Then rinse out and wash the hair with Olaplex No.4 shampoo and finish with Olaplex No.5 conditioner. Or this: Can you also use No.4 shampoo first, rinse out, and then No.3, to then finish with conditioner No.5.❣? In what order does the mask come then? After No.3? Which mask can I take if I don’t have No.8? Is there a mask that I can quickly buy from a physical store that doesn’t have a lot of chemical and drying ingredients? I don’t have time to make an order here now. The hair is breaking in the middle, and I’m going to dye/bleach my hair within a week. That’s why I need to do what I’m writing to you here now, a week in advance. It has now been two months since I last dyed/bleached my hair. I have very dry hair, and it seems like I also have a dry scalp. One question: Why can’t I use No.3 on the scalp? What can happen then? I actually applied it to the scalp a week ago? I usually dye/bleach my hair about once a month, but often it happens that it becomes every other month. Is there something natural that I can put on the scalp, something that you can have at home that can heal it? I prepared my hair here at home a week ago with Olaplex No 3, Olaplex No.4 shampoo, and then No.5 conditioner that I bought here at Lyko about 10 days ago, and I also did a virgin coconut oil mask on Friday and washed it with Olaplex No.4 shampoo and finished with Olaplex No.5 conditioner. That was a few days ago. I need to find out how to proceed now! Please write a reply, thank you. Take care! ChristineTranslated from swedish
1 product in post Olaplex 3 - In what order together with mask, shampoo, and conditioner?72 views- Customer service at Lyko1 dayHey Christine 😊👋 Wash your hair first so that there are no product residues left. Squeeze out the water and apply no 3 to damp hair. Let it sit and then rinse out. If you have very thin and fine hair, you might need to shampoo again after no 3 to avoid a heavy product feel in the hair. Then follow up with a mask and conditioner 🤍 I’m a bit unsure about what masks are available in other stores, but choose one that provides a lot of moisture 🤗 It’s not harmful to get no 3 on the scalp, but it doesn’t do any good there 😊 You mention that you want tips on something you can use on the scalp to heal it. Are you thinking about after bleaching then? 😊

Question!
Hi! I’m currently using Björk shampoo and conditioner, but I also have Olaplex shampoo and conditioner at home. When I use this No.3 treatment, can I use Björk as usual, or will I get better results if I use it together with Olaplex shampoo and conditioner, even if I don’t usually use it?Translated from swedish
1 product in post Question!1136 views- Customer service at Lyko1 monthHello there Lisa! 👋 You can use Olaplex No.3 together with your regular shampoo and conditioner from Björk, but for the best effect, it is recommended that you use Olaplex shampoo and conditioner in conjunction with the treatment as they are designed to work optimally together. Since you already have them at home, feel free to use the entire Olaplex series the times you use No.3, to strengthen and repair the hair maximally 😍 Take care 🌸

Olaplex no 3
Should you wet the hair before applying this, or should it be applied to dry hair?Translated from norwegian
1 product in post Olaplex no 31401 views- Customer service at Lyko2 monthsHi 💛 Olaplex Hair Perfector No.3 should be applied to damp (towel-dried) and unwashed hair. Lightly dampen the hair with water, squeeze out excess water with a towel, and apply the product evenly from root to tip. Let it sit for at least 10 minutes – preferably longer – before rinsing, shampooing, and finishing with conditioner 💆♀️✨ Feel free to let me know if you want tips on how to achieve the best possible results!

Before shampoo?
How can it be that it should be used before shampoo? Most should be used after shampoo so the cuticles are open and can receive the product better. Does this work differently?Translated from swedish
1 product in post Before shampoo?2195 views- Customer service at Lyko3 monthsHey there! 🤸♀️ This is just a pre-treatment that should be used before shampooing as it makes the hair stronger in conjunction with following up with their shampoo in the series! 🥰👌

It helps, but only for a little while
Directly after using, followed by a hair masque, my hair does wonderfully. For about two days. Maybe three. Then it's back to dry and frizzy and feeling like it'll break if I'm a little bit rough with my styling. The biggest issue is the horrid smell. Why? Why does every hair product producing brand think I want my hair to smell like a broken perfumery wall? The perfume lasts longer than the effects of the product. Can they not fathom that people will use products from other lines which will, instead of making your hair smell like "I use olaplex!" (which is kinda cringe in itself) smell like "my niece sprayed every perfume in the household on me when I was asleep". Wish it worked better and smelled less. Would consider buying again if that was the case.1 product in post It helps, but only for a little while1941 viewsto leave a comment - 4 monthsRating: 5 out of 5verified customer
