    CLEANSING, CLEANING, AND MOISTURIZING

    I am participating as a test pilot via Smartson and have received a free test product. However, this will not affect my final rating. Perfect cleansing for you with drier skin, but can easily cause blackheads on the nose, for example. Cleansing, but does not dry out like many other cleansing products can do. I am a bit drier this time of year when it starts to get colder outside and use this cleanser in the evening, skipping cleansing in the morning, otherwise I get too tight with this cleanser. Incredibly economical product, big plus! I feel soft, clean, and get a nice glow after cleansing. Has a faint scent of soap and has the same texture/consistency as a hand soap. Very positive except that it can be a bit "sharp" for my dry skin this time of year.

    My favorite! It really cleans effectively and lathers nicely, without leaving the skin dry or tight. The skin feels clean and smooth. I find that the bottle lasts a long time too. Super great that it has a pump and that you can lock it in place. A very affordable and good product!

    Good face wash, nothing special, but good that it is fragrance-free and that it moisturizes. I feel like it lasts quite a long time anyway

    Hi!

    I switch between hydrating cleanser and foaming cleanser normally, as my skin gets too dry with just foaming cleanser and too oily with hydrating cleanser. I have sensitive combination skin that easily gets pimples. Is this one that might suit me better so I don’t have to switch so often? I get really oily in my skin throughout the day.

      Hi Daniel 👋 If you are experiencing a combination of sensitive skin that is acne-prone, I would absolutely recommend continuing to use the Foaming Cleanser from CeraVe. It is important to use toner, serum, and moisturizer in the remaining skincare routines so that the skin receives enough moisture after cleansing! 💪💧 The Hydrating cream for foam cleanser contains ingredients that are not necessarily recommended for acne-prone skin, so I would recommend using this cleanser if you experience a normal/dry skin type 🙌 Oily skin needs moisture. What happens if oily skin does not get enough moisture is that the skin will start to overproduce sebum to 'lubricate' itself. Even if you have a combination or oily skin type, you can still have a dry skin condition. Wishing you a nice day ahead 👋

    Remove mascara

    Hi! Can you remove mascara with this? Because it says not to get it in your eyes, but I usually use most cleansers to take off mascara, so would this be different? Thanks!🙏

    Makeup

    Can you cleanse 2 times to get all the makeup off? I’d prefer not to spend money on a makeup remover. So I’d rather have a cleanser that is good for dry skin and can remove makeup. I use a lot of makeup, so a lot of eye makeup, foundation, lipstick, etc. Does all this come off if I wash my face 2 times with this cleanser? I don’t use waterproof makeup either.

      It is a mild cleanser that might not be seen as a treatment for acne or similar. But if you want one that contains, among other things, salicylic acid that exfoliates and cleanses the skin❤ lyko.com/sv/cerave/cerave-foaming-cleanser-236-ml

    Oily and Impure Skin

    Although this product is intended for normal to dry skin, I use it for my oily and impure skin. These skin types benefit from a gentle cleanser that hydrates and doesn't dry out. Especially if you also use other products like an exfoliant. With impure skin (acne-prone), it's best to be gentle with your skin and be consistent.
